History

Established in 1982.

Passage Yachts began life in the 1980’s selling the Passport line of cruising yachts, establishing these Robert Perry designed yachts as a benchmark for modern underbody blue water cruisers. After discovering the Beneteau line at the Paris boat show in 1984, we took on this incredible line of sailing and power yachts. They have since become the number one brand n the world and the Bay Area! We began representing the Alerion line of elite daysailors in 2008 to great success. They are beautiful and exciting to sail. We are still the ONLY Bay Area yacht dealership to house a full service Service Department where you can get personalized, friendly service every day.

Meet the Business Owner

Deb R.

Business Owner

I began boating on Lake Michigan and small lakes in Wisconsin. Growing up it was mainly powerboating and water skiing. My love for sailing began on San Francisco Bay. Can you blame me? I moved here at a young age after falling in love with the incredible sites and the shimmering water. My first experience of sailing was racing Santana 22’s. To me, sailing the Bay was like a wild roller coaster, only the tracks were the waves and wind. I moved from banking to the boating business quite quickly after falling in love with the sport, opening Passage Yachts in 1982 with business partner Ben Oldham.
