Cute little sweet shop in the corner of Stony Point!
My friend and I were bored and killing time before a movie, so we just thought we’d walk into the store and see what they had. The man working was extremely nice, and gave us so many samples of the… pralines I think? Anyways, and all of them, and I mean all of them, were so good… AND this is coming from someone who rarely ever eats sweets. I’m more of a salty over sweets girl, but I could not stop myself from wanting more.
My favorite flavors were the Southern Praline and Cocorumba Praline. I need to come back and get some more. Don’t be a fool and DEFINITELY stop by if you are shopping at stony point

My all time favorite candy store, how can you not be happy just by entering one? They are a great little shop with a lot of fabulous house-​made items with some bulk candies as well. I highly suggest their pralines, bark, and salted caramels, all of them are delicious. They have some great candies with savory undertones, like their Cajun Heat brittle! Next time you are at Stony Point, you should give them a chance.

Yum! I love Pecan Jacks and that is all there is to it. They used to have a location in MacArthur Center in Virginia Beach and my boyfriend and I would come in here, sample the fresh goodies, and buy huge bags of their Gummy Bears.
We stopped in this past Saturday (as we do every time we drive to Stony Point) and they were having a huge sample party due to the tree lighting in the central square of the shopping center.
This is the flagship location at Stony Point and they are happy to let you sample all of their yummy candies to make sure you love it before you buy it — which is good because it is somewhat pricey — but well worth it.
This is a family-​run business and they treat their customers like family. We’ve spoken to the two main owners and their elder son who ran the MacArthur store and everyone has always been exceedingly kind and friendly and very helpful. They love to let you sample their goods and my boyfriend loves to eat them so it’s a match made in heaven. Haha.
On to the goodies, they have these chocolate truffles that are out of this world, their peppermint bark is AMAZING, their brickle is yummy too, and they have these chocolate covered Amaretto pecans that will absolutely BLOW your mind — they are amazing. I love them.
I mentioned earlier that it is a bit pricey — but not at all out of the range for normal prices in the gourmet chocolate world. They aren’t gouging here — just charging fair prices for some absolutely yummy stuff.
If you are in the Stony Point shopping center you owe it to yourself to stop in. This is the type of business that we need to support — family owned and operated, great customer service, and quality products. I’m in!

This was an unsuspected find. A treasure of a find. I normally tell people to stop reading and go already at the end of a review, but I’ll tell you now. Go! This place is freakin’ awesome! Go already!
I needed to buy presents for people back home when I visited this place. I needed peanuts and I was looking for them here. What I found was a double down and a better deal! Two people helped me right as I entered. I think the owner’s name is John, and he helped me right away. He asked me if I wanted samples and, of course, being the sucker that I am for sweets, said yes. He let me taste a little bit of everything.
The Bourbon Praline pecans were awesome! They were a hit with the people I gave them too. They also gave me samples of the Bacon pecan brittle, that was amazing as well.
The prices of the stuff in this place is very reasonable. Some may find it steep but the quality of the sweets here are just Grade A, so the price didn’t deter me one bit. If you’re looking for something sub-​par, go to a Food Lion.
It also happened to be my birthday, so they gave me free stuff and did so with a smile! How awesome is that! When I come visit again, I will be buying more. Get ready! That’s how awesome their stuff is!

I bought some of the Bourbon Praline Pecan Jacks and the Honey Cinnamon Pecans, last year, here in Virginia Beach, when they were at a show at the Convention Center. Of course they were delicious and eaten way too quickly. After looking at their website a million times, I knew I had to have more. Finally, I was in Richmond last weekend. I told myself, next time I’m in Richmond, I have to go to their shop and buy more… And I did, 12 of the most delicious Pecan Jacks Pralines on the planet! (I also bought 6 for my son)? I was smart and I bought an extra one for the ride home. As soon as I got home, I made sure to have them hidden… A week later and there are only 6 left. (Yes, i ate them!!). Now that they are getting low, I’m back on their website, seriously thinking about ordering some more! Yummy!
Update…there’s only one left and I’m calling them tomorrow and ordering some more! Once you try these you will be in love with them too!

Bacon pecan brittle! This is sweet and salty and rich! I was impressed because the manager Richard had me try little samples so I would trust my purchase. Good stuff. I will be back. I need to find someone to share this bag of brittle with before I eat it all myself.

Family run candy store. They just opened another store in downtown, inside the Omni hotel. Everything I tasted was delicious. I really love the pralines and the sea salt dark chocolate-​covered caramels. The brittle is really tasty too. I love this place because not only are their candies delicious, but it is a locally owned store worth our support.

Looks like a family run candy store. Very awesome candy treats. The pralines are perfect with a huge variety. The variety stretches from normal pralines, caramel, bourbon, grand marnier flavored. In addition, the toffee is some of the best I’ve ever had with many varieties as well. Great for kids with all the free samples. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I will be back
