History

Established in 1988.

«Sidewalks» started as a local cable show in the late 80’s by creator Richard R. Lee, who continues to oversee the production. The original show featured local talents, including artistic acts, cultural groups, and bands. Around 2005, the format changed and became a Hollywood-​like series with exclusive interviews with major celebrities and music from top recording artists. Produced and hosted by a small group of creative artists, the show has expanded its telecast by airing on broadcast and cable stations. A show revamp is being planned by Lee and producers to spotlight both regional and national talents.

In my professional life, I’m the creator, producer, director, editor, webmaster and on-​air personality (yes, I wear many hats) for «Sidewalks Entertainment,» an award-​winning TV show featuring celebrities and music. My small team and I have been producing the project as a «labor of love.» We have been doing «Sidewalks» on our own.
