Sonic

The service here is very poor. I was yelled at because of a worker error during one visit. Another time, I ordered tater tots and received what appeared to be tater tots put in a blender. During another visit, the worker asked me if I wanted BBQ sauce or honey mustard with my cinnamon sticks and when i said «no,» confused, the worker yelled and said «DO YOU WANT ANY SAUCE?» So I vow to never go here again.

Pretty good. Don’t try salted caramel shake. Regular caramel shake is bangin. And cheesecake. Coney was good too. Pissed me off last time was here. Try to charge me 5.59 for a shake. Hell no.

I can mainly address one item. It’s the Hot Fudge Milk Shake. We’ve had the burgers and they’re more than acceptable, but I would say the above shake is a one-​of-​a-​kind flavor and it’s a rather unique shake. Cold and hot all at once. We have them about every couple of weeks or three during warm weather. My wife is a huge fan. Chocolate is just fine for me, too.

Gave them 3 tries, each time noticed the cook handling food with bare hands; on one occasion shaking my hot dog in his bare hands at a female employee. I thought on the third visit I’d order a milkshake. How could you ruin a milkshake, right? By digging in the cherry jar with her bare hands to scoop the topper for my milkshake.
Complained each time-​no resolve. You take a serious risk with food poisoning at this joint. I’m surprised with all the terrible reviews corporate hasn’t rectified this with the owner. Terrible service at all fast food in this area. Something wrong with the pool of workers; a real lackadaisical, careless, immature, slovenly workforce out here.

If it was possible I would leave zero stars. This Sonic location doesn’t deserve a star and aren’t worth the time it takes to write this review. I am only doing this hoping to stop others from making the same mistake. I have had great experiences at other Sonics so this review is only pertaining to this particular location. I am not sure how many mistakes could possibly be made on one order but they may have set a record. We ordered 2 meals with 2 slushes and paid the extra to have nerds candy put in our slushes. I immediately noticed our bill seemed high but didn’t pay much attention to that at the time. When the car hop brought our food out we noticed one of the drinks had 1 piece of nerd candy in it… no big deal. She was very nice and immediately fixed the problem. I admit we should have checked our order before leaving. We get home and notice that the bill was so high because they charged us for an extra meal. They didn’t actually give us an extra meal, we just paid for it. One meal was fine (mine) but my fiancé ordered a «dinner» meal which is an upgrade and comes with Texas toast and an onion ring. There was no onion ring to be found. I know it’s only an onion ring but that’s one of the few things that makes it an upgrade and says something about the establishment if they overlook one of the only things they needed to do. The icing on the cake however was the chicken breast sandwich. It felt «lite» and the reason for that is there was no chicken on it. They gave us a bun. We tried calling and talked to the same person who took our order. She happened to be the manager. There was such a language barrier that the phone call got us no where.
To sum it up, we ordered 2 meals, got charged for 3, and only received 1 full meal. The second was missing the nerds candy, onion ring, and most importantly the chicken breast that should be on a chicken breastfeeding sandwich.
If a restaurant manager (i think possibly the owner) could care this little about their food and service it has to make you think. Does she care about the kitchen and cleanliness? Does she care about health codes? She certainly didn’t seem to care about our order or fixing it. We were promised a call back and that call never came. I lost about $ 15 on this visit to Sonic and don’t want any of you losing money too.

Been in the drive thru for 20 minutes and haven’t been addressed yet… deal breaker.

It doesn’t get any worse than the food I just received. The Footlong ¼ Pound Coney was swimming in cheese sauce and a bun so moist you could not pick it up to eat it. The «handmade onion rings» were handmade at the frozen food factory. With that description I was expecting a fresh set of homemade rings, not something from the frozen food section. I managed 3 bites of the dog and one onion ring and called it quits. The sweet tea was the highlight of my $ 8 investment.

Very brief review. Sitting in the drive through for 10 minutes + ordering overpriced junk food + the food being lukewarm at best when I receive it = a 100% freshly squeezed booty juice experience. I dont think I will be back anytime soon.

Great service (on roller skates non the less), the order was correct, the food was hot, plus you can get favors mixed in to your drinks– that worth 5 stars alone!

Stopped by tonight for some after dinner milk shakes. Ordered three chocolate shakes and one strawberry shake with no whip cream. The voice in the microphone repeated the order. The shakes arrived and the receipt matched the order. When we saw the shakes we got two vanilla shakes and two chocolate shakes, all with whip cream. After getting the order fixed, the shakes were not that great!
Does customer service exist anymore?

Good enough. The order is sometimes screwed up due to an error in the ability for the person to understand the orderer. The car hops are very nice and the food is decent. Not a bad place to go to get breakfast late in the day. Overall a blah experience.

I come here for the soft-​serve and it’s always great! I would give a higher overall rating but on 3 occasions, and at different times of the day/​night, I’ve ordered a burger and received it barely warm. I’d like to get a fresh hot burger here at least once so I can see if they’re as good as others tell me they are.
