My husband and I met our friends here this past Saturday night who we haven’t seen in a long time here for dinner. To start, the calamari was not crispy the way I like it… If you want to order the Calamari mention well done if not it comes half cooked. To be honest the rest of the appetizer was ok except for the garlic bread, that was really good! The 4 of us had 3 bottles of wine and were planning to catch up as we had not seen each other in a long time… With that being said… Dinner came then as we were finished the waiter brings over the desert tray telling us what each desert was and so we ordered our desert. As soon as I finished my desert I saw the table next to us had a desert called«Tartufo.» I got so upset that is my all time favorite desert and that wasn’t on the desert tray… So I asked the waiter and he said«oh I forgot to mention it» Uh yeah cause you were too busy RUSHING!!! UGH, I was furious! I know it’s only desert but still!!! lol We felt rushed through the entire night cause they needed our table! The worst part is the customers are crammed near the entrance just looking at you to see when you are done! We felt like we really couldn’t even finish our conversations because the waiters kept coming over to see if the bill was ready to be paid or if we needed anything else. I will suggest that if you’re in a rush then this is your place if NOT then don’t bother going because they need the tables turned rather quickly. Oh and forget about the parking lot cause it doesn’t accomodate everyone. We had to walk a block up a residential street to park our car. Would I return here again, I don’t think so… The food was not over the top and the experience has left us feeling like we would not be back until we forgot about the experience. There are so many other italian restaurants. And to sum it up, the total bill was WAY more than we expected to pay especially for a BYOB. Sorry but I wasn’t thrilled…

My boyfriend found a coupon for Lucas knowing the place is known for their pastas. We went on our first lunch date here and it was awesome. He thought it was awesome to take advantage of the coupon. He called 30 minutes before arriving to make sure it could be used for lunch time. The person said it’s fine as long as it’s «over the amount of the coupon». We get there, set the coupon on the table, before asking us what we would like to order, the waitor immediately states«that coupon, no good for lunch». My boyfriend stated he’s made sure that it’s valid for lunch, he gives the stink eye and said he’ll talk with his boss. He comes back, and I ask nicely of the coupon is still valid. He gives the most awkward«ok». Ok fine, so I’m thinking, let’s not make things worse by saying something I’ll regret. So I put a smile on continuing our lunch. They were trying to shoo us out by giving us the check. He presents the coupon, coming back with 18% gratuity added on the check, with poor handwriting. It was the most unpleasant lunch I have ever had. Never going back. And I would like to add, your bread is very stale.
