Not sure what management is thinking, opening a beautiful place and then not hiring people to maintain it properly. The breakfast bar had no clean bowls and the hot food was cold. Fitness center was out of water and there were no clean towels. When my room was cleaned, they took the used towels but didn’t replace them. I’m a frequent traveler, nearly every week, and I’ve not experienced this at any other Hilton property in eight years. Sad…

This place is a great stopover for those who travel for work or pleasure. The room(or at least mine) was like a mini studio equip with: –microwave –coffee maker –fridge –sink –dishes –desk space –blow dryer …and probably other amenities that I’m forgetting since it’s been a few weeks since I stayed there. They have a free breakfast every morning. While I didn’t experience waffles that they promote, they have the basics such as yogurt, cereal, juice and muffins, etc. The staff were all very helpful and great with follow up. I had asked what I could do within walking distance and they let me know of a bike/running path. The following day they asked about my adventure and we shared a good laugh as I didn’t last too long with the heat and humidity. The only downfalls I can think of is location(which isn’t in their control) and the sofas in the hotel rooms are beige. I suggest a color change as any minor stain/marking that’s on them doesn’t make it too inviting to sit and relax.

I’ve been a Hilton Honors Diamond member for 15 years and have stayed in some really nice places. I had never tried this brand, and won’t be trying it again. I guess I am a lot more high maintenance in where I stay, since I travel 75% for work. This place is EXTREMELY basic. Very minimalist, including an overall lack of any décor in the room. The fixtures are all modern, including European appliances, but it’s a vast space of dull walls and modern, but uncomfortable furniture. The shower is a horrible, completely plastic built-in. The final straw for me was the cheap micro fiber bedding, with the dollar store pillows, making my night’s sleep even worse than already made by the constant roar of the traffic on I-55. The hotel is built right on top of the highway. Although I asked the front desk to move, they said they had no similar rooms on the side away from the highway. The breakfast is similar to Hampton Inn; basic and nothing special. I stayed one night, then made my way to the full-service Hilton down the road. If you’re the kind of person that doesn’t need any amenities, this may be the place for you. If you’re used to staying at Comfort Inns, Motel 6, Super 8, and the like, you may consider it an upgrade at a similar price. It is very clean and newish. Note that Its meant to be a longer term stay facility, so daily housekeeping is only a light service unless you’re there over 5 days.

I don’t want to write this review because I want this place to be my little secret. But in fairness to all my Unilocal brethren(and sisthren?), I have to say: this place is all that + a bag o’ chips. The price was what I would pay for a normal regular 3-star property with a king-sized bed and a free breakfast. Here, I got a HUGE room with enough storage and work space that I could have moved in. It would have been easy to do so with the good-size fridge, sink and dishwasher. They had the silverware and dishes you’d expect at some dingy extended-stay place. But they also had the cool«hip» vibe of some that some newer chains have. The breakfast was enormous(waffles to yogurt to the usual suspects). The bed was comfy. The rooms were quiet. Only two drawbacks I can think of:(1) Wifi was painfully slow unless you were simply checking a plain email. Forget about downloading an image or any kind of media, and(2) While this was a newer property with plenty of electrical outlets, there was little in the way of USB charging, something i’ve found in competing hotels. This is my new go-to spot in the Ridgeland area. My secret is now out. I hope you’re happy.

Very nice nice place for s great rate. My room even had a dishwasher; seems a little overkill but it must be economically. All other standard you would expect at that price range are well met.

Stayed here during our 3 day road trip. It’s a new hotel, similar to a Hyatt Place in that it is ideal for road trippers or the business traveler. Free parking, free Wi-fi, the rooms are decent sized with a flat screen TV. The positives were the kitchen amenities; a full sized kitchen sink, over the sink microwave, stainless steel dishwasher, and bigger than average-hotel fridge. They even had plates and glasses for convenience. The gym is pretty basic with limited equipment and some of it was broken and missing; and there was no mirror but they did have an adjoining washer & dryer for your use. I was disappointed in the bathroom however. The size was tiny, just a stand up shower and although it all appeared newer– the glass shower door frame was barely hanging on by the loose screws. I felt like instead of spending the money and labor on the kitchen appliances, I’d rather have had a more luxurious bathroom suite. The window covering was also bothersome. At first glance, it appeared modern with a roll down mechanism, but the way it was designed, the sunlight beamed right through all the space in between the roll down curtain and window frame; a full blackout drape that most hotels have would have worked better. The customer service was okay. We arrived in the evening, so staff was probably slim and we waited in the lobby for a good 10 minutes. When the attendant arrived, he was pleasant. The complimentary breakfast was the usual — coffee, toast, stale cereal and some yogurt. I’d say overall, the hotel is newer and the room was quiet. The location was great, right across the overpass was a shopping plaza with a PF Chang’s restaurant and some other restaurants. It met our needs. It is also pet friendly which is bonus for travelers with pets. I’d say given this area, this hotel was a good find. It’s not a 5 star, valet at the front type of hotel, but it met our needs.

Great new hotel! Perfect for short or long stays. Well stocked kitchen with nice stainless appliances. Great location! Across street from great shopping and dining. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Make sure you ask Antoine where to eat, but also make sure that you eat at Georgia Blue!
