Biltmore Tuxedos

Awesome shop. They took extra care and time with the entire wedding party. Everyone had an excellent experience.

My fiancé has been in a lot of wedding and typically his friends have have gone to a big chain store like men’s warehouse and the fit and service has just been terrible. The tuxedos wind up being huge and look ridiculous on him. His one friend found biltmore through one of his work friends and all the guys in the party looked perfect. I wound up asking the salesperson some questions because I have my wedding coming up next year and they are extremely knowledgable and super friendly. We will most certainly be back here for our wedding next year

Recently used Biltmore for my wedding to outfit my groomsmen and me. Simply put, this is the best place in Northern NJ to rent tuxedos. Have used other services in the past, but they can’t hold a candle to Biltmore.
Staff was extremely knowledgeable and service was first rate. Our salesperson helped me choose a style that was well suited for my frame, and fitted it perfectly.
Had a lot of groomsmen who had sent in the measurements from out-​of-​town and with a few alterations and switches, they looked great too.
The beauty of this store is that they have everything there so we did not have to make several trips back and forth.
Wherever you’re thinking of going, go to Biltmore first! You will not be disappointed!

I rented my wedding suit here and the overall experience was not the best.
The guy in his late 30’s close to his 40’s was very unprofessional. When we requested to try on the shoes, he’d throw them on the ground. I won’t go into details of other things that happened, but I advise you to please not rent from this place. It’s overly expensive and the amount of stress you will receive at this store is not worth your time and your money. You will find better service elsewhere.

nice products but VERY EXPENSIVE, better values right down the street

Needed a Tux for a wedding a while ago, people here were very nice, very accommodating, and overall, it was an excellent experience.

This review may be a little old but I still wanted to post it because this business is wonderful ! My husband and I got married in July of 2008 and our wedding planner referred us to Biltmore Tuxedos. We were thoroughly impressed with the service any attention to detail by everyone who worked there. We were able to pick out some unique designs outside of the traditional tuxedo just what we were looking for.

We went to Biltmore for a prom tux. The place was packed because we went last minute (of course). The staff remained courteous and helpful despite the craziness. The selection of tux styles was great (at least five to choose from), our salesperson explained everything and accommodated us when my son changed his mind and went back to another style. I would go back there again in a heartbeat!

Haven’t received my tuxedo yet, but when I do I am guessing this rating will be moved up to a perfect ⁵⁄₅.
This place is old school, and manned by straight shooters. If Frank Sinatra rented his tuxedos, I am expecting it would be in this place.
If you think Men’s Warehouse is great for tux rentals, go kill yourself… or as a safer route, come here.

We went to Biltmore for my son’s prom tux based on the reviews below and we were not disappointed. They are very professional and know what they are doing. When we went to pick up the tux they had to make a slight alteration on the sleeves and they did it immediately. The tux was good quality and fit perfectly. Believe it or not Biltmore was actually cheaper than Men’s Wearhouse, and they require a smaller deposit. From what I’ve heard from other mothers Men’s Wearhouse just gives you a tux, you can’t pick what style you want. Not so at Biltmore. They have racks of different tuxes you can choose from.
The only negative I can find with this place is the parking. You have to park either on the street or in a lot and sometimes parking is difficult as downtown Ridgewood is usually very busy.

Having been in a bunch of weddings recently I’ve had my fair share of experiences with tux places — they usually go from bad to cheezy. But this place is pretty nice — easy to deal with, they actually seem to care about their reputation and care about what you have to say.

I was responsible for getting four tuxes for a groom and three groomsmen, and my experience at this place was HORRIBLE! I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO INSULTED AS A CUSTOMER IN MY LIFE!
For starters, their CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS HORRENDOUS. The managers were nice and helpful enough, but they were usually busy so the initial consultations and measurements were done by their young female assistants who were AWFUL. Every time I came into the store, nobody asked me if I needed help. Sometimes, I ended up waiting for ten minutes before I was even acknowledged, and the only reason it wasn’t longer was because I went up to one of the assistants to get some help, most of whom acted like I was interrupting something important they were doing when I did so even though they weren’t with other customers. The worst was when I went during a morning and there were no other customers at the store. As usual, the assistants, most of whom were busy chatting with each other, didn’t even look at me. I went up to one who was organizing some tuxes and as I opened my mouth to say something, she proceeded to make eye contact with me, turn around, and walk away. I’m sorry, was I bothering you?!
I might’ve not been bothered so much by this if their product was fine, but they even got my order wrong. I rented four one-​button tuxes for the groom’s wedding party, all identical styles. A few hours before the wedding, I discovered that one of the tuxes was a two-​button tux that was also longer than the others, and it was too late to go to the store to switch. So now, in the wedding pictures and video that the groom and bride will have forever, a groomsman, not the groom, is conspicuously wearing a tux that doesn’t match the others.
That wasn’t the only problem. Another groomsman discovered that one of his pants clasps (Biltmore use adjustable clasps for their pants instead of belts) was broken. He ended up having to constantly pull up his pants for hours until we found a belt for him. And even then, because the pants didn’t have belt loops, he had to adjust his belt and pants pretty frequently throughout the day.
When I returned the tuxes, I complained to a manager about these problems. In response, he gave me 20 bucks for my troubles on tuxes that cost 150 each. Gee, you almost ruined a wedding with your carelessness and your snobbish assistants, and you give me twenty bucks to make up for it. Thanks.
I got my prom tux here a long time ago, and everything was great then. I don’t know what ‘s happened since. I felt horribly guilty towards the groom because I was the one who recommended this place. I really wanted this place to be good because it’s in Ridgewood and my previous positive experience with them but sadly I have to say that if you’re looking for a tux for prom, wedding, or whatever else, DO NOT GO HERE! You’re better off at like a men’s warehouse.

Biltmore is THE BEST tuxedo store in Bergen County. We must have checked out every other place there is but this one beat the rest by a long shot. The service and the selection is unbeatable. They really work with your style and wishes and create the perfect outfit. What impressed me the most was their knowledge and how they made sure that were fully happy with everything we selected. I can HIGHLY recommend this them for weddings or proms.

Went here last minute and got my brother-in-law’s entire groom’s party fitted for tuxedos on a Wednesday before his Saturday wedding. The two gentlemen who run the store were very helpful, diligent, and made you feel like a valued customer, unlike our experience at Mens Wearhouse. We had originally ordered our tuxes from MW, but the quality of the tuxes was just plain terrible, and the customer service regarding how they fit when we came in to pick them up was rushed and impersonal. Decided to see if Biltmore could fit 5 of us, and they were really patient and helpful. They really make you feel fit for a king and have all their tuxedos in store, so you can try them on before making a decision. Plus, they have an in-​house tailor, so alterations can be done on the spot. Thanks Biltmore, you make MW look like a piece of crap rental factory!

I tried Baldwin in Midtown NYC, a Men’s Wearhouse in Paramus, and some place in Wyckoff whose name I forget. Biltmore was so much better I felt compelled to write a review.
This place has a good selection – not huge, but I tried on at least five or seven different jackets. And they have all the jackets on the premises, in stock and in your size, so you can try them on and see which jacket fits best. The staff is pretty friendly, and they’ll give you as much time as you want to try on jackets.
To contrast this a little with other places: Baldwin didn’t have one jacket that fit me at all well (I’m slim but otherwise, normal) and the quality didn’t seem so good for their rentals; Men’s Wearhouse only had a catalogue, you had to pick by picture, they had no jackets to try on.
If it is convenient for you to go to Ridgewood, just go to this place first.
