Right next door to the senior community center, decided to grab a bite. They were friendly and nice. I had the buffalo chicken slice and what I believe to be the grandma slice. The buffalo chicken slice was not as spicy and the chicken was breaded when usually what I’m used to is just pieces of cooked chicken. The grandma slice was tasty as well. One thing I liked was how crispy the pizza was. The flan was also good as well, it was light and just enough sweetness, it wasn’t overwhelming.

The chicken parmesan and baked ziti is UHH-mazing and the pizza is always on point with the cheesy-ness!!! Love the staff and the quality of service is great as well. I would totally recommend and to top everything off the prices are not too shabby!

I’ve been coming here since I was a child and can NOT believe how bad the pizza was today! I got my money back! It was so greasy and flimsy I couldn’t even pick it up! The pizza used to be the perfect thickness, never too greasy, and delicious. I sadly can’t tell you how it tasted today because I refused to eat it. When I went to tell the manager, he offered to give me another slice. Yea I don’t think so. PLEASEBRINGBACKTHEQUALITY! It’s not right that they’re still charging over $ 2 for a slice when I can find a better slice in the city for $ 1.

Growing up, coratos was the place to go. Originally I used to go to the one on woodbine but that closed and eventually the loyal customer base migrated to this one across the street from the post office. The service has gone down and become very bad. I normally order the same things from them and noticed the prices keep increasing but no new menus to reflect the changes. Anytime I ask for a new menu… «Oh I just ran out» smh. This is ridiculous. They remind me of Texas fried chicken on cypress ave and why I stopped going there. It is against NYS law to sell anything at a different price than the one stated. Sad. What used to be a family friendly place has lost it’s glamour. I definitely will be limiting when I order and the frequency. The food is great but if your service is not up to par, I’ll gladly buy from the competition who knows how to treat their customers. Please ask yourselves why it’s never full anymore. Edit: I went tonight to see if maybe I would be treated much better than I was over the phone yesterday and it went to show that doesn’t matter how long of a loyal customer you’ve been, they will mistreat you and continue with the false advertisement. While I was there, a woman who clearly knows the laws called them out on their overcharging and very much false advertisement. After they were done, I proceedded to ask about the new menus and what was the responses? «Oh we haven’t gotten around to printing them» so how do I know what the prices are? «I’ll tell you when u call. Umm no. It doesn’t work that way. I officially will not be buying from them any longer. Especially after the lack of good service, they don’t deserve my $$$.

We come here at least once a month, best prices and quality food. I order linguini with white clam sauce and they make it just the way I like it packed with lots of clams. My husband loves the rice balls and my sons enjoy anything from a slice to Stromboli.

After 1 hour and 20 minutes I called to check the status of my order(MEATBALLSUB&FRIES) it hadn’t left the shop yet, but would be shortly. Another 40 minutes passed, I called«it’s been nearly 2 hours could you please expedite my order» his response«um, i don’t know what that means… it’s coming» ** CLICK** food just arrived 2 hours and 35 minutes later — cold & soggy fries, the subs bread was like a wet diaper and what little sauce they used was cold. Fool me once…

We ordered a large sausage + mushroom pie and it was decent. I felt the dough was really thin since I wasn’t full after eating two slices. I also felt it could have used a little more cheese since it wasn’t very cheesy. The sausage and mushroom slices were also extremely thin and you could barely taste it =(I should have gotten a plain pie instead and saved myself a few bucks. Oh well, I guess you win some and you lose some. Don’t think I’ll be back unless I’m getting this pizza for free.

Can’t believe all the negative reviews for this place! I love their pizza, actually all their food is good. They have amazing broccoli rolls. Macro is wonderful and so is the staff. I have been eating here and getting delivery from them for as long as I can remember

Best pizza in the neighborhood! They also have a restaurant around the corner called Trattoria Cerbone, which is great too, especially for a more romantic scenery. The owners Marco and Marco Jr. are awesome as well. Just tell them I sent you their way, lol.

I like the food but hate the service. Delivery takes forever. The minimum is too high. Tonight I called in effort to change a grubhub order before they started to prepare it and was hung up on twice then when I tried called a third time the line was off the hook.

Worst service ever. The place is literally 2 miles away and it took them 2 hours to deliver. When the food finally got here, the wonderful delivery driver refused to come to the apartment then hung up on my girlfriend. Then, the actual restaurant calls and the gentleman on the line said that the delivery does not including door to door, essentially, and told my girlfriend to cancel the order. Don’t order from here, it’s a waste of money for subpar food and horrible service.

Pizza is good but the cannolis are the best in the area.

This place is terrible. A regular slice of pizza is the only thing you can expect to be decent. They offer different salads and dishes in the display case, all of which look like they’ve been sitting there for weeks. Overpriced To say the least. I give it two stars for their regular slice and for the nice Hispanic counter man.

ABSOLUTELYTHEWORST!!! First off, I have had Caesar salads and I have had amazing Caesar salads. I have never had a Caesar salad that was not only gross but tasted nothing like a Caesar salad… until now. Then I had a slice of Sicilian. They cut it into 12 pieces instead of 9. I thought it might be a large pie. Turns out it’s a small pie, and each cheap-o slice is the size of a Stouffer’s pizza bread slice(you know, the size of a slice of a baguette). Nonetheless, I should be happy as it tasted lame. The worst was the regular cheese pie. I have lived in L.A. since 1994 and had some of the worst pizza imaginable. This pie is as bad as the worst I’ve had in L.A. Maybe as bad as Domino’s before they tried to re-hype their image. And that should be the greatest insult of all to a New York pizzeria. Fighting words. Unfortunately, it’s the God’s honest truth. Avoid at all costs. It’s cheap, but you might as well wipe your bum with the money and set it on fire for all the good it’s gonna do you ordering this inedible crap.

Once was enough. Corato Pizza II is better, but not by much. More like a last resort kind of place. The only advantage they have is that they’re open late.

My wife and I were regulars here for almost a year before we moved out of the neighborhood. The guys that work here are really friendly and there is literally nothing on the(large) menu that isn’t worth trying. We would often order two slices of pizza(either sicilian, plain, or veggie) and two draft beers(cheaper than bottled) and wait for a larger item that we’d share(like pasta puttanesca, pasta with vodka sauce, or a garden salad with house dressing). It’s also open late and they deliver(tip: you can read them your credit card on the phone if you’re low on cash). Be patient, be nice, and enjoy being around good people and good italian food. Note: credit card minimum=$ 25, but they will be flexible if its around $ 20. EDIT: it’s becoming obvious that most of the negative reviews here are confusing this location with the other(busier, similarly named) location. This is unfortunate considering how outstanding this place is.

Slightly better than Corato I, but still mediocre. Expect inconsistency, and dry or burnt product. Open late, at least.

Corato Pizza 2 is a very clean restaurant, with a big seating area, and has a nice, warming atmosphere. At the back is the kitchen and the front cashier where you order your food. You can order from the menu, or point to what dish you want from the display case. I ordered a Cheese Calzone for $ 4.50, and my friend ordered a Stuffed Spinach Slice for around $ 3 and 6 powdered Zeppole for $ 1.65. We waited about 10 minutes for them to finish baking our orders and then sat down to eat. The Cheese Calzone was very large, and was gushing with cheesy goodness. My only complaint was that the crust was too thin to hold all the molten cheese, so it quickly broke. You definitely need to eat this dish with a knife and fork. The Stuffed Spinach Slice was as good. The ration between the spinach and cheese was perfect. There were equal amounts of spinach and cheese, and the crust was able to hold everything together. The Zeppole was delightful. It was covered with powdered sugar and was sweet. The texture of the Zeppole was soft, but still a bit crunchy. Good prices, adequate portions, clean space, and lots of seating.
