DoubleTake Consignment Boutique first opened its doors in Short Hills New Jersey in 1992 and from day one the store has been packed with women who understand the advantages and value of consignment shopping. DoubleTake, which only accepts the highest quality & current designer clothing and accessories, has been recognized as one of the country’s most premier luxury consignment boutiques.

Our mission is to provide a pleasant and satisfying experience by giving the savvy, style and fashion conscious woman access to the world’s finest designer merchandise at savings well below wholesale. We will go above and beyond to provide our consignors and customers with the highest level of service and deliver a truly unique experience.

s a graduate with both Masters and Bachelor degrees in science and administration from the University of Pennsylvania, I never imagined that I would be in the world of fashion. And yet, I have never been happier and certainly never looked better. I am reminded of the famous statement made by Coco Chanel, «Dress shabbily and they remember the dress; dress impeccably and they remember the woman.» I believe that at DoubleTake, we help our customers make wise fashion purchases for less than they would at the mall. While I am not usually on the sales floor, I ensure that every customer has the pampered and valued DoubleTake experience we are known for; I hire our sales staff, streamline store procedures and, ultimately, handle all of the compliments and complaints. Fashion should be a great experience without the big price tag. After all, as Bo Derek once commented, «Whoever said that money can’t buy happiness simply didn’t know where to go shopping.» DoubleTake is the answer!
