The service is slow waited about 45 minutes to be seated for a party of 3. The food is okay I definitely have had better Mexican food then this place and I ain’t talking about Taco Bell or chipotle.

I have been here a couple times and I’m a fan! My friend and I also come here to catch up and have a couple drinks. The food is amazing! They have great Guacamole!!! and if you like it spicy just make sure to tell them they will make it just right for you! They have a great Ceviche de Camaron, Super Chimichanga, and an amazing Super Burrito! I recommend anything from the menu. They also have a great alcohol selection and they are not stingy on the amount of alcohol they put in your right so you really get your money worth! Highly recommend you going there to have some great authentic Mexican style food and they décor is pretty cool too.

Ehhhh. Why is this place so expensive? Given the fact that there’s tons of Mexican spots in the area, the food was really underwhelming for $ 15/per plate(roughly). Like, fajitas were good… but they weren’t mind blowing. In fact, I didn’t even finish my meal. That was probably because karaōke night(Thursday) was making my ears bleed. They should probably have a separate room for that madness. I had sangria… and was also underwhelmed. I probably won’t be back. No shade, just not really my flava.

Drinks were great! Food was good. Def would recommend. The only reason why I have it for stars is I didn’t like the soft taco for the tacos. Ceviche on point, &Empanadas were delist. Fried ice cream was great. Flan was delish

Favorite last minute spot for margaritas and decent Mexican food. The wife and kids all enjoy their food every time we go so I enjoy it even more because of that. Go for the super chimichanga

Very good authentic Mexican. I came here on cinco de mayo and again for Father’s Day but sadly could not get in! The food is great. Ceviche is one of the best I’ve ever had. Reservations are not accepted so sometimes the wait can be annoying.

My friends and I really like this place. The drinks are good, the staff is very nice and the food is delicious. We always get the guacamole. Made fresh to order and its very very good. When I eat spanish food, I love a fried whole fish. Fajitas Sunrise did not disappoint. The whole red snapper seasoned to perfection and fried crispy was very delicious. The beans and rice were perfectly done as well. The shrimp fajitas my friends had were also amazing. Great place to go.

Always a pleasure eating there my favorite place and great guacamole and the best chicken soup ever but don’t tell my mom please. Every dish is a bite of heaven and drinks are the bomb. So go but keep in mind Friday’s are packed. Very affordable and nice for small parties too.

One of my favorite spots to come to for lunch. After 5 Burros this is my fave Mexican Restaurant. Great affordable lunch menu but if you want to share the plate they charge $ 7, they always have one guy working the entire floor during lunch and when theres a special occasion such as World Cup or Cinco de Mayo they have more men on the floor but it takes them longer to take care of you. Very good margaritas, my fave dishes are the chicken chimichangas and the shrimp quesadilla, as a matter a fact anything shrimp.

My boyfriend and I love this place! Every weekend they provide awesome Mexican food, margaritas, and karaōke entertainment. The vibe is fun. The steak fajitas are made to perfection and the salsa is just spicy enough to be tasty. As a Mexican myself this place feels like home straight down to the fresh guacamole. Even on Valentine’s we lucked out on a table at the end of the bar and free tequila shots. Love this place!

This place. We arrive to the sound of the margarita machine churning so abrasively loud you cannot hear the mariachi music playing for ambiance. I ask to be seated far away from it(which shouldn’t be an issue because the place isn’t packed) and get a side eye from the waiter. Fair enough sorry I asked. He is the only one on the floor so I can understand his sense of urgency– however– I am not ready to order within the first 5 minutes of being seated. This also displeases him visibly. When he comes back with my boyfriend’s creamy mojito(which gave me pause but I ultimately wound up ordering for myself as well) I have questions. The meat tacos are presented as chicken, pork OR steak. The fish tacos are presented as salmon, scallops(or something), AND shrimps. Do I get all three in my tacos? This is just one of several inconsistencies on the menu, which I feel is too long anyway. He rolls his eyes and exasperatedly gesticulates. No, like, Of Course you don’t get all three. Fine. We order cheese dip and fajitas. The cheese dip sucked. Hard ass coagulated cheese that you must cut with a knife, sunken into refried beans with four sad little corners of a flour tortilla. Obviously microwaved. The fajitas were OK. Not worth the cost, in my opinion. The whole meal came out to something like 75 $ not including tip. I think this is a lot for a mediocre lunch for two in ridgewood. I’ll give this place 4 stars because I probably pulled some faces with the waiter that weren’t nice and I’m sorry. Maybe if I’d ordered a frozen margarita things would’ve been different.

This restaurant could easily be better. The food is fine, big portions but otherwise nothing special. The flavored margaritas are tasty. But the service is really frustrating. My mom and I both ordered tacos with some special requests(hers with only lettuce/cheese toppings, mine with all the regular toppings just no cheese). Hers was made correctly, but then when mine came out the waiter delivered it explaining the kitchen«made it differently for some reason» and then asking me if I still wanted what I’d asked for. Um… yes? Why wouldn’t you just assume that and, you know, get them to prepare it the way I asked? They also forgot the salad that was supposed to come with mine so I had to ask for it, and we were constantly asking for water refills because they kept forgetting to bring water. I think maybe to make up for the service, they brought out 4 tequila shots at the end of the meal for the 4 out of 7 of us who’d had a margarita. I know this would usually seem like a positive thing, but it was 3pm on a Sunday and 2 of those four people were driving home, so it was a little awkward. Not that I’m holding it against them, I would just suggest saving your tequila for groups more likely to appreciate it. I think there aren’t many places in the neighborhood that fit the«big plates + margarita pitchers» niche so I get why my family likes it, but there’s definitely room to improve.

Our favorite neighbor restaurant! Food is amazing and their frozen margaritas are the bomb. Happy hour is the best! They have good specials. The employees there are very kind and genuine people which is a plus.

So i came here for a romantic dinner with my boyfriend. This place is actually pretty casual and is good for families too. For starters we got salsa and chips, salsa wasnt too spicy and it was on the house. We got a huge pitcher of red sangria for 25 bucks, ot was ice cold and not too sweet, filled with tons of fruits. We got a table and a waiter right away, excellent service he was more then happy to explain all the menu items. The entire menu is mexican from fajitas to quesadillas and enchiladas to burritos along with flautas and tacos to seafood dishes. There is also a kids menu and dessert menu. Anyway i ordered a super chicken burrito with tostones on the side, and wow the burrito was huge filled with rice beans and veggies with a side of guac and salad. It had perfectly seasoned rice and chicken, not too spicy or messy either. My bfs dish was the ranchero combo with flautas and sausage with grilled veggies it came Out on an actual mini grill, hot and delicious and huge portions we had to take it home! The sausage was perfectly Seasoned and plentiful! The tostones were alot Larger then i expected they were the size of my palm! We ate so much that we had no room for dessert. Today there was no live music by the bar instead the world Cup was playing. This place was super packed but the way the tables are set up theres plenty of space. Caution, they only take visa Or mastercards, to share a dish is a 7.00 dollar charge and a refill for chips and salsa is 2.00 bucks so these dumb fees hold me back from giving 5 stars. But at least the bathrooms are decent. For two people with two plates a side and a pitcher with tip we spent 70 Not bad at all!

Came here on a very rainy Friday night and almost believed my girls and I would be the only ones there and I was very wrong. Despite the fact that there was a flood warning the restaurant was pretty full. To begin we were seated immediately, and received tortilla chips and an homemade Mexican salsa. The ordering process was quick every plate ordered at my table was enjoyed. Keep in mind food portions are huge at this restaurant. Servers were very friendly and as Per my girls the drinks was awesome!!! {fajita sunrise and sangria} Will visit again soon
