Definitely the go to place for my Mom’s Altima. He takes great care of her and her car, doesn’t take advantage as some do, reliable work, dependable, you get the picture. I live out of state and needed someone like this and I’m glad I found him! Good and trustworthy folks in the auto repair business are hard to find.

I brought the charger R/​T in for an emergency issue recently and as always G&A went above and beyond to ensure that my baby was taken care of. I know what is wrong with my vehicle prior to going in or I can explain it if I don’t. Those of you that know nothing about cars and want to complain about quality work at a good price need to go get ripped off at pep boys.
If you want honest work at a good price and someone that will do whatever it takes to ensure you had a good experience and your vehicle leaves fixed properly; then come here. But, do not complain if you do not get the work done that is strongly suggested and your car breaks down. This place is good business and integrity is at the upmost importance to the owner.
Get your car taken care of by a true professional. If you have an issue do your due diligence and call the shop they will ensure its handled professionally. I will be back to see you soon for my summer tune up!

Took my car here for an oil leak. That said it needed a new rack and pinion for 650 $. They never aligned the front wheels afterword and it shredded my front tires on a trip to pa and it was so bad I couldn’t even stay in my lane and was swerving all over the road in the rain. Had to get new ones and get alignment for another 500 $. Took the car back and the guy who worked on it said he hadn’t run an alignment after changing the steering. I would imagine that they would do that or at least mention that it needed to be done. Somehow they managed to get another 180 $ out of me and the car is still leaking oil. Waste of time and money. Go anywhere else.

Wish I can give zero stars… guy try to charge me $ 60 for a $ 37 inspection… yea ok buddy… keep your $ 3 change… stay away… typical scammer

Great Experience, I was searching for a 2^nd opinion on a whether or not I needed a new compressor on my vehicle to get the air conditioner in my vehicle working again. I google search a Diagnostic vehicle location in my area and I came across G & A Auto Ridgewood. I explained to the owner the issues with my vehicle he gladly suggested I come in a Free Diagnostic on the vehicle. I took the offer the mechanic confirmed I was not in the need of a compressor they were able to put some freon on the vehicle. That was music to my ears with the sound of Great NEWS any way to save money on your vehicle… It was quite affordable I was pleased with the level of services provided. I also received a follow up call to see if my vehicle was working as it should. I recommend G & A Auto its Affordable, and Provides Quality Service! Thankyou.

Had to get a starter replaced on my BMW 3 series and was a bit nervous about where to take it, but eventually landed at G&A. These guys are a class act and are straight shooters, which is something I can always appreciate. They did a quality job on my car and were very reasonable in regards to time and pricing. I have recently moved away from the area but am willing to make the 1 hour+ drive to have my car serviced the right way. Walk in here with confidence.

I live in Arizona and my daughter moved to Brooklyn, NY. She has a 2012 Honda that needed 2 tires, alignment and oil change. I researched shops in her area and found G&A to rank very high everywhere I looked. I called JR and he was very, very helpful and friendly. My daughter had the work done today and it was a great job at a great price. JR made the transaction and communication very easy for me so far away. I am very satisfied and have a great feeling that I have someone who will take care of my little girl. G&A is where we will be doing all the work needed in the future. Also, in advance he prepared the Honda maintenance schedule and pointed out a couple of thing Honda need to fix. That is great customer service without asking. He also emailed everything to me and gave copy to my daughter. Thanks JR and G&A.

I’ve encountered some pretty shady mechanics in New York, so my up front experience at G&A was appreciated. They have prices printed and posted on the office wall which helps avoid feeling like you are getting the «real» price for the service and I was given a good explanation of what was wrong with my car and what I «needed» to do versus what was a good idea.

After dealing with 3 useless mechanics, I finally found G & A. The owner Ismael and his mechanics are amazing people to deal with. They are certified, intelligent and have excellent communication and customer service skills. Your vehicle concerns are addressed immediately and efficiently. You are allowed to participate in the needs to your vehiicle. They are extremely informative with any questions you may have, without any bother to them. This is the only place that has earned my trust on my Nissan Max 2009. I have had service on various things from installations to electrical work and it has all been done properly.
G&A Auto diagnostics & Wheel Alignment Center is an honest place. They dont try to cheat you of your hard earned money, another reason why I rate them 5 stars.

I generally don’t trust auto service people but I was really impressed that they didn’t do any general damage to my car. The oil change was fast and prompt. Reasonable price of 25 dollars (before taxes) and do all the top off services and inspections that come with oil change. He did try to sell me the expensive synthetic oil but so does everyone else. Was very nice and explained the process to me very well. Was nice enough to even give me free tops for wheels’ air/​pressure port thing.
Over all I was really impressed and this probably my regular auto center as long as I live in ny.
I took of one star because of my general bias for auto service people.

I rented a 10 foot Uhaul from G&A. Ive moved all over the country, so i know my way around a Uhaul place. They were very professional and helpful in all areas. They gave me a great price on the truck. Also, I left a very expensive phone and bike helmet in the cab of the truck in my eagerness to be done with moving. Luckily they found my phone and helmet and put it up for me until i could stop by. I would definitely bring my car into their shop, if i still had one…

This may have been the best auto repair experience I have ever had. And that is saying a lot.
I took my miata here today and brought my own parts with me. The quote I got on labor was reasonable from the start and I felt no need to try to talk anyone down. The owner and mechanic let me watch and participate in the process (something other mechanics dont always seem to enjoy). In doing the job, we found some other issues and, with no pressure at all, the owner gave me a quote which was also very fair.
I have no doubt that I will be returning to these guys when it comes to these next repairs and for other jobs in the future.
Highly recommended.
