Been coming to his office since I was a kid and ever since then it’s been a busy office. To get an appointment you have to call from 6am and can be full by 8am. It’s annoying sometimes because if my child is sick I can’t sit on the phone calling back to back for a half hour trying to get someone on the phone. But I do like them and have done it without complaining about it.
After this terrible week I’m officially done with their office. My son has been sick since Monday (it’s now Friday) with a fever and a stomach virus. I have been calling to get him and appointment and for it to be booked by 7am. It’s really awful to feel like your sick child has a very slim chance of being seen by their pediatrician. I’m going to have to just go to the ER because they can’t get him in. I will be looking for a new pediatrician next week. So disappointed.

Dr. Pichardo has been my pediatrician since I was a baby. We were with him when he worked for another clinic and finally built his own. He is an amazing doctor and never misses a thing. He has personally called my mother to let her know if something was wrong with lab results and he is always on top of his game. He also jokes a lot and remembers and asks about family members. His staff is wonderful and we’ve never had problems with anybody there. Sadly, I’ve aged out of his care this year, but I will continue to recommend him to others and hopefully one day, take my own children to see him.

As a parent of 4, 3 are now young adults (continue to be patients here). We are very loyal to this pediatrician, you can always count on him and he will personally call you if there is anything you need to know asap. My children are healthy because of the preventive care received in this office. I understand the 6am can be a small bother but hey you get an appt. on the same day! Great staff and very professional. I can’t say enough about the doctors, they really worry about their patients. I highly recommend this office, they really don’t need my endorsement but I just had to put in my 2 cents.

Went there today to get my son’s school forms filled out & update his booster shots. Overall friendly staff, nice doctors, & fast service. Only thing I dislike is having to wake up at 6 am to make an appointment the day of. Other than that I like this doctors office & I never had a negative experience here.

I’ve been bringing my oldest here since she was 2 now she’s 7 & my baby since she was first born who’s now 3. I’ve personally never had Dr. Pichardo as their doctor I’ve had Dr. Singh and Dr. Figueroa who’s no longer there & now Dr. Tubens. All 3 are women & for the most part have been very great. Now the problem with this doctors office is the whole call from 6am to 7am for an appt! I’ve called hundreds of times trying to get a dam appt & it ALWAYS NEVER FAILS takes for me to go into the office & show them my phone so they can see that I called hundreds of times smh. Overall good doctors, short wait time but needs better organization of giving people appts

Today was my first time going to Dr. Pichardo’s office and I was very much safisfied. I was recommended to him just yesterday by a woman that works on the storage facility I use. She said she went there as a child and her younger family members continue to use him. I also had no idea it’s also my husbands family’s doctor.
I initially called yesterday to make an appt. and was told they don’t give appts days in advance I simply need to call the morning of when I wanted my son to be seen. I thought this was a fantastic concept. Ingenious really. I could never get a same day appt with my other doctor and if it were an urgent matter but not quite an emergency I would have to go as an urgent care walk-​in to the affiliating clinic and be there all day before I was seen. I called this morning and got an appt for 11am. Since I was a first timer they required I come in an hour before my appt for registration, which was a bit excessive that literally took all of 10 mins to hand over my cards and sign one paper.
While we waited my son got to watch a kids movie on a huge flat screen and be mesmerized by one of several huge aquatic fish tanks.
The office is very clean and I love that there are separate waiting areas for sick and healthy children.
All the equipment is state of the art and impeccably clean.
The nurses were very nice, they all seemed happy to be working there which is a refreshing site in s doctors office. My son had to get blood work done as well as 4 needles and they were quick and compassionate.
Definitely predominately Spanish so brush up if you need to.

My son was born with health issues. He has been going to Dr. Pichardo’s pediatric clinic since he was one month old, and for a year now the clinic has demanded me to pay an amount of $ 350 or else they won’t care for my son. I called health insurance and they informed me that there was nothing to be paid for, and they couldn’t explain to me why the clinic was charging me extra.
I’ve tried for the pass week or so to call to make an appt. for my son because he’ll be starting Pre-​K and need his doctor to fill out forms and need prescriptions for his asthma. The receptionist consistently argued that there were no times available for him, and today I had to arrive at the clinic demanding medical service for my son. I asked for Dr. Pichardo, him knowing before hand that I was going to arrive via a phone call, and never showed his face «coward». my son’s doctor (pcp) finally had the chance to attend me, suddenly he was rushed by one of Pichardo’s workers and Pichardo’s wife (who was present) told me and my son to leave that we cannot be attended. Another one of Pichardo’s workers asked me to sign a release form as well, but I did not sign it.
