MTA Subway – Forest Ave M

As others have mention, this is an elevated station with one track in each direction. This station was recently updated. Pretty typical above ground train station, although I have never seen a more overzealous group of people trying to get on and off the trains at this station. There is no regard for life when entering and exiting the trains.

This is an elevated station on the M line. The M runs about every 10 minutes on a good day during rush hour. The benefit to this elevated station is the machines are inside. (Yes, warmth on these freezing cold days that you can’t feel anything!)
Ppl wait at the bottom of the stairs or in the enclosed portion of the station on extremely cold days.
Please note– There is only one set of stairs to get on/​off the platform located on eastern end.
