Great food, great people, and great prices. Their beef and broc is my favorite. They don’t use msg, food is cooked in veggie oil, and it’s not too greasy compared to other takeouts.

For anyone wondering about their GENERALTSO’S TOFU– It is pretty OK. The sauce has a mild duck sauce flavoring to it. The tofu itself is cut into squares and on the flatter side. When you bite into it it has a chewy, rubbery consistency.

Amazing food. The people are great. Glad it’s right down the street. It has become my favorite Chinese spot. They have an open kitchen. Watching them prepare food is so awesome. The cooks have mad skills. The ladies at the register always great you with a warm smile.

#ChineseMenu #I read they have a separate Chinese menu in one of the Unilocal reviews below. #True. They do #but it’s in Chinese! #I asked what was on the Chinese menu, because I can’t read it #he said what do you want? #I said I don’t know. What does the Chinese menu say? #he said well, what do you want to eat? #Abbott and Costello routine #There was a younger Chinese guy in there who translated between me and the cashier #But the funny thing is I totally could understand what they were saying #Basically, you should just think up Traditional Chinese dishes and they’ll see if they can make it. #Although that doesn’t explain what that Chinese menu says #Anyway, I ordered the Chinese Broccoli(Gai Lan) with Sliced Pork Belly. I asked them to add some Chinese Sausage. $ 6.50. So good. #I feel like all Chinese Take-Outs should make their Chinese menu more accessible… or make a Chinese menu if they don’t have one #They all have those traditional Chinese ingredients anyway for when they make their staff meals #Foodies and hipsters love that shit #We’re always looking at what the Chinese staff is eating and we’re like«Wait, we want that!» #but it’s not on the menu. #I think this place is closed on Sundays. Because the first two times I walked here to get food, it was both on Sundays.

This is legit Chinese restaurant. Ask for the Chinese menu. They have ox tail noodle soup in their Chinese menu. Not the best ox tail soup. But it still satisfied my occasional craving of noodle soup without going all the way to China town. People are super nice. They take their time to briefly explain items to me. But if u are trying their Chinese menu, be prepared to be adventurous. Some of items on the menu, I have no idea what it is. I only knew it’s chicken with vegetables. It turned out to be good. Not the best China town quality. But great neighborhood restaurant! !!!

This place is awesome, fresh tasting, clean and not even 1⁄100th as scary as the takeouts in bushwick just a few blocks south!

Pretty good chinese takeout that’s about five blocks from me. For another 48 hours that is. SO I had to try them. They’re pretty good. I’ve ordered twice from them. Once getting a steamed mixed vegetable special. Sauce on the side for the calorie conscious. It was great. Today I went there again and got General Tso’s Tofu. Another score with a quart of hot & sour soup. That was also excellent. With free delivery, I’m surprised I hadn’t ordered from them sooner.

I love this place and am shocked it wasn’t listed but none the less its an awesome place for the following reasons: 1– There is no MSG 2– They have good coupons 3– It’s cheap 4– It tastes good! 100% Veggie Oil yay Open 7 Days a week Mon-Thurs: 11am-10pm Fri & Sat: 11am-11pm Sunday: Noon– 10pm If you are in the area, this is the chinese place to go, check and see if they will deliver to you or you could always pick up, I’ll admit its down the street from me which also makes me love it that much more.

Some of the veggie dishes are too oily, but as with most take out chinese spots, they offer the ‘special diet menu’ with sauce on the side. Hot and sour soup is, I believe, the litmus test to most chinese fare. It is very hearty, full of fungi and bamboo at Sze’s. The dumplings are huge. The shrimp toast portions are huge. The moo-shu is my favorite dish on the menu. A real bang for under $ 10!
