Puzo’s Family Restaurant

This is our go to pizza place. We have tried a few spots in the area but we always go back to Puzo’s. I do always get eggplant on my pizza which isn’t offered at most places, and this is the main reason we are fans, but the pizza is also really good! Also the people that work there are great, everyone is super friendly!

Very good place to eat. Small place so you get the cozy feeling. I ordered the Shrimp Fra Diavolo. I know that spelling is not correct. Very good good & the desert was on point. My wife ordered a more basic dish which was very tasty. The service was quick & food was great. I will make it a point to come back!

I work in town and my coworker and I order every Saturday because they’re close by. Great food, I have never been disappointed with anything I have ordered and I have ordered a variety of different things from pastas, to a panini, and sandwiches. Never disappointed! Great staff also. Very friendly. I’m helped by a woman named Kristina 99% of the time. Very friendly and hard working! HIGHLY recommended.

Hey I’m from New York City. I’m sitting here eating a Puzo’s eggplant parmesan and a dish of ziti ($ 8.99) and wondering where the hell these reviews are coming from.
I have ordered from this place before. Last time I had the fried eggplant pizza. (yes I like eggplant) It’s as authentic home-​style italian food as you can ask for. When I was growing up in Queens I used to go to an italian restaurant my friend’s mom opened when she came from Italy. They had the best Italian food in America hands down. I think Puzo is just as good.
Keep up the good work. I like the atmosphere there. Definitely not olive garden nonsense. If this place was in NYC it would be packed every day. $ 8.99 for a big plate of eggplant parm and a smaller dish of ziti? Where else are you going to get that?

The woman who is an owner was kind enough to floss her teeth in the kitchen and walk out to the service counter still flossing the muck from her teeth and help a customer with her oral grossness all over her unwashed hands putting it in the food and on the customers food. So absolutely gross!!! Food safety is not a concern in this place we never eat here any more which has saved us many digestive issues. i almost puked on the counter knowing thats not her first time doing this un real!!! I kept thinking was OMG she has put god knows what kind of pathogens in my food. So gross. Can i have a slice of pizza and hep C or some other illness please?

We ordered take-​out from Puzo’s for a birthday and it was really fantastic.
We had:
Ham, Ricotta and Mozzarella Calzone
Stuffed Mushrooms
Eggplant Rollatini
Pizza — I cant remember if it was the «all meat» pizza but it certainly had a lot of meat on it!
Everything was hot and well-​packaged (which matters, especially with all that melted cheese involved!). The food was SO GOOD. Extremely filling, but hey. we knew what we were getting into!

Very pricing. I mean really expensive pizza, and not for anything exciting. I would stick with their pasta dishes which were decidedly better than the pizza.

OMG!!! This place is the worst! Not only did we wait an hour and a half for a mediocre ice cold pizza but it was ridiculously over priced. Also, the staff was extremely rude. When I called to ask if there was a problem because our pizza was taking so long they never apologized, they just said «yeah we’re busy» I will never order from here again and I will make it a point to tell everyone I know not to order from them as well.

Great food for delivery or take out; but the woman who works the counter during the day is so rude that eating there is NOT pleasant. I should have realized something was up when the place was empty. Good food, but the service was bad.

This place is great! Everytime my family goes on the weekends it is usually quiet. We always get sat in the back dining room which makes it nice and not loud. The food has never let us down and the service is exceptional. My favorite dish here is the Chicken Valentino!

Puzo’s is a very generic family style Italian joint. Much of their business is derived from their take out service. They do have indoor seating as well but it’s not really the kind of place one goes to sit down and eat IMO.
Everything here is okay, not great. Especially the salads which leave a lot to be desired IMO. Having grown up in Ridgewood for much of my life I can easily recommend Turvino’s in Glen Rock over Puzo’s.

Just ate at Puzo’s for the first time and was not impressed at all. My husband and I shared the mozzarella and tomato salad it was boring and bland. My ceaser salad had no taste at all, I asked if it came with anchovies the waitress said no but they can put some on. Little did I know that would cost us $ 3.00 extra. I feel thats a little extreme. My husband had chicken parm which he said tasted like a salt lick. Needless to say we will not be back.

I have been going to Puzo’s for 9 years and their food is outstanding. They pride themselves on the traditional home cooked Italian meal and every dish is amazing.
They will also let you have a party there and close off the first half to make it private for you. I have had several parties there and highly recommend as they are very accommodating and will go out of their way to make sure all your needs are met.
Puzos gets an A++++++++ rating from me.

Solid all around. We call Puzo’s twice a month or so for Pizza Delivery. The pizza is solid all around and delivery is quick and efficient. The large cheese pizza is a solid value. Highly recommend.
