Quest Diagnostics Incorporated

Door to clinic was locked at 1:45pm (my appointment time). I was yelled at from down the street by a woman in sweats that she was coming in a very nasty way. I was simply waiting outside and looking for a doorbell (I did not know why it was locked). Inside she yelled at me to sign the sheet and then to come over here. I asked her who she was talking to and she rolled her eyes and said «you!». I asked her if she was the one that would be taking my blood. I walked out. I’m not going to be spoken to like a child. No one should even speak to a child in that manner. I am a patient and deserve respect and a caring manner, particularly as you are about to draw blood from me. I believe her name was Yandra. I will never be going back.

Worst experience I have ever had, and I’m not the one to complain usually. The lady, Chandra was the only one working and would not answer any of my questions, was telling me she has to charge me $ 50 without explanation, and when j asked she said that’s a question for the billing department and when asked where it is she said not here, while my insurance covers 100% blood work. She started screaming at me and said she has two other people waiting and already took 15 mins of her time. I walked out. NEVER again.

This is the second and last time I would ever walk into that place. The lady from India or Guyana is so miserable, she’s nasty and rude no manners what so ever. To make a long story short, first visit she went off with the mouth about Medicaid, did what I had to do for my daughter who is mentally disable n doesn’t comprehen certain things. Rude intake Indian lady made us sit there for 2hrs all because we didn’t make an appointment, Ok kinda understand, made my daughter sign a paper stating anything Medicare doesn’t pay she would be responsible for, all because she asked for a credit card n i said my daughter doesnt have any. Quest Diagnostics send us a bill I called n gave them medicaid number n guess what! It was paid for. Clearly there is something illegal going on. This Monday again I walked up in there with my daughter was happy to see the place was empty about 11am. I said wow nice it’s going to be fast, by far. The Indian lady shouted from her cubicle do u have an appointment? Calm and ready as I was I said no but we just got out of the doctors office n she ordered blood work. She cut her eyes n said give me insurance n ID, I gave her the Medicare n medicaid card, the Rude lady threw it back at me, omg! she’s testing me, I said you know I’d like to know why you threw the card back n why don’t you take it. Well she explained, we don’t do business with medicaid, I said ok fine now why are you so nasty n rude? Indian lady said I’m not rude, I’m explaining we don’t take medicaid, I said for starters it’s good morning when ppl walk through that door, a smile doesn’t hurt you can be polite to ppl. Lady said you are the only one who thinks I’m not nice, Wrong lady first time I came, there were two ppl sitting complaining about you n the whole staff. I said as a matter of fact please give me back my paper n card I refuse to give you business I’ll go some where else. Ppl go to FreshPond Quest Diagnostics at 61 – 22 Fresh Pond Middle Village. That’s where I went in 15 minutes I was in n out. Lovely young lady at the front said Good morning how may I help you? What a wonderful morning we had in a rainy n cloudy day. It pays to be professional n extremely Nice…

This is the worst place.
I was asked to come here and requested to get a test done (Blood work) and not eat the night before.
The last time I ate the evening before was 5:30pm, what it was Sunday dinner.
I went there where my appointment was at 8:00am and I wanted to find out what test I was taking. The woman for intake was rude and has no bedside manners.
When I was there until 11:00am and I still wasn’t seen, I was upset. There were some people who would walk right in from outside, wait ten to fifteen minutes and leave. I was really upset.
At one point she finally comes up to me and asks; «What are you here for?»
I give her my sheet and she looks at me and says; «I asked you, I don’t need your sheet, i asked you. «
But if I don’t know, how am I suppose to tell you. We end up finding out that I have to take a glucose test. It’s a two hour blood test, they draw a lot of blood out of you, and at that point it was 12:30pm and I haven’t eaten yet.
I get my test started, and at one point because its cold outside and they have the air conditioner on, i’m light headed, and ready to eat anything, I start dozing off, she tells me to try to stay awake, but I was having a hard time doing so.
The woman ended up not apologizing for me waiting so long. When she ended up feeling bad for me, at one point, she would try to take my blood she would initiate small talk. I told her don’t talk to me and just take my blood, I was so fed up with her.
At one point, it was nearly 24 hours with no food or drink, and I worked out that morning. Big mistake.
It’s finally 3:00pm when I am done, and I leave, eating a couple of baby carrots I had in my bag.
I know the human body can go without food and water for a few days, but why should I if I don’t have to? Can I save those skills for the zombie apocalypse? lol
