Sook Pastry, with Positive Reviews in many publications including the New York Times, serves Fine French Pastries, Macarons, Viennoiserie, Crepes, Sandwiches, and Soups all prepared in our kitchen.
We also offer Wedding Cakes, Birthday Cakes, and Pastries for any occasion.

Sook Pastry is a French bakery /pastry shop that opened in the Historic District of Ridgewood, NJ on March 15, 2011, by 3 Alumni of the Legendary Payard Pâtisserie of the Upper East-Side.
Meet the Business Owner
Keum-Sook P.
Business Owner
Sook began her education in high school, apprenticing in Seoul’s finest bakeries and patisseries. While learning the craft, she was fascinated with combining pastry styles and flavors from different cuisines.
She then went on to New York for technical education at the French Culinary Institute (FCI) and the Institute of Culinary Education (ICE). After graduating, Keum-Sook worked at the famous Payard Patisserie & Bistro in Manhattan and continued specialty training in sculpting, sugar confectionery and chocolate with world-renowned chefs at the Center for Advanced Pastry Studies.
Keum-Sook served as personal pastry chef at a number of private kitchens in the Hamptons, while developing her brand ‘Sook Pastry’.
She sees ‘Sook Pastry’ as an opportunity to share her passion of pastry and baking in a comfortable, community oriented setting, while maintaining her independence and creativity.
