I had the gingerbread waffles with pecans, which were terrific. Rest of my family had egg dishes which were all really good. Service was excellent and friendly

The breakfast is EXPENSIVE. The coffee is truly TERRIBLE. Attitude from the waitress and even the owner(whom by the way is also the cook and couldn’t care less whether you’re happy). Crummy personalities all around. Good omelettes but there’s plenty of places to have a great breakfast AND enjoy a good cup of coffee(and pleasant staff)! Try The Shaker Café in Flemington instead… you can thank me later :0)

Coffee was not so good BUT the linzer french toast was heavenly! Raspberry cream cheese layered between french toast and topped with hot raspberry sauce and whipped cream!

Had breakfast with my wife at Mom’s for the first time today and we were pleasantly surprised. Very light and airy waffles, well done bacon and a veggy omelet that my wife is still talking about. We’ll be back to try the lunch menu, the hamburgers and sandwiches looked awesome.

This was the first time I visited Mom’s and the food was so delicious. I had the Eiffel Tower omelet and it had asparagus, mushrooms and cheese in it and it was amazing! I do not eat a lot of meat however the bacon is spectacular. The bacon is smoked and was extra crispy perfection. Thank you for a great girls brunch morning. I can’t wait to come back again.

So the owner is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America? In which class did she learn how to grill ShopRite white bread with American Cheese and bacon and charge $ 11 for it? This place is very average. except the iced tea – that’s terrible.

Mom’s is THE place for breakfast! My wife and I have been there dozens of times and it’s almost a weekly ritual. The people are great and the food is even better. They’ll even make it your way! As far as breakfast is concerned, you can’t beat Mom’s!

We stopped here for breakfast on the way to Princeton, because of all the good reviews. Usually Unilocal reviewers don’t steer me wrong, but this time, they did. We liked it as we entered… down-home country chic and just the kind of place we usually like. We ordered coffee and water.(Never got the water, but that’s just a minor annoyance). The menu was extensive and interesting and I was excited. My boyfriend had a custom omelet and I went for the Welsh Eggs, something you don’t see anywhere else. Welsh eggs are kind of like Eggs benedict, but with Mornay sauce. The poached eggs were barely cooked — very runny. Gross, even. The mornay sauce was tasteless and the bacon was meh… also kind of tasteless. My boyfriend realized later that his omelet had garlic in it, which he likes, but not for breakfast, and it wasn’t advertised as such. The home fries were super boring. The coffee was good, but we won’t be going back. Oh… and the price was outrageous for what we got. $ 30 for the two of us, without tip.

Yes, I am a fan! Love the country atmosphere and how they focus on delivering a good, not greasy breakfast!!! I enjoyed their home made corned beef hash which was different then others I have tried — chunkier bites of meat and potatoes and NOT greasy at all! Over easy eggs were perfectly made as was the pumpkin pancake — it was very delicious! COFFEE, YES — not bitter — just right! Can’t wait to go there again!

I enjoy going to Mom’s for breakfast, I have not had lunch there yet. I find the food good, love the coffee and the people are nice. The down side to Mom’s is that its a tight squeeze between tables and they only take cash. Yup, credit cards are not a valid form of payment,(neither are children I asked LOL). You won’t find Mom’s on Diners Drive in’s and Dives, but you can enjoy the food and company,

Had breakfast here. Blueberry pancakes were good. No butter until I asked. Coffee was good. Atmosphere not very cheery, at least not where I was seated, near the kitchen. The other room is probably sunnier. Not inexpensive for what you get, but there is not much competition with a full menu in Ringoes.

My friend and I stopped at Mom’s for a quick lunch before heading to a nearby vineyard. I ordered a grilled cheese with bacon and tomato and my friend ordered the classic grilled chicken sandwich. We also ordered the onion rings for an appetizer. The onion rings were brought out with our meal, even though I asked they come as an app– but no big deal, they were really tasty. My grilled cheese was good and came with chips and a little thimble of coleslaw and tiny slice of a pickle(luckily my friend doesn’t like coleslaw nor pickles, so I was able to take hers). She enjoyed her chicken sandwich as well as the coin-shaped fries. The staff wasn’t especially friendly. It seems like everyone here is a local so I guess they don’t take well to strangers. My unsweetened iced tea was really weak and I asked if they had a stronger batch. Our server brought me out a new one but it was pretty much the same strength(and he didn’t check up on me to see if it was okay). Overall it was a pretty decent, quick lunch but I wouldn’t mind trying any of the many other restaurants along 202 nearby.

We live in ringoes and this is a go to breakfast place for us. It is what it is with a few pockets of excellence in there. The various Benedict’s and the pancakes are as good as it gets — try pumpkin pancakes in fall. The rest doesn’t look like anything special but tastes great — like the potatoes that come with the dish. Lunch items like blt or grilled cheese are fine but moms really is only for breakfast. This isn’t the place where u drive 45 mins on Sunday for a special brunch — but if u are in the area it’s the best breakfast in the area including anything in lambertville

Wonderful breakfast at great prices and great service. Our waiter smiled the whole time and was so helpful in helping us choose our meals since it was our first time there. Will def be back soon!

I live here in East Amwell and have been to Mom’s many times over the last 15 years or so. The food is fine; it’s standard breakfast fare. My chief complaint about Mom’s is their rather aggressive stance on pricing. I come in with my three kids ands and when things are aren’t exacatly as on the menu, they err on charging you more, always. Typically I’ll order 2 meals, a side of this, side of that, a muffine, round of juices. The bill typically comes to $ 30 or so, but then I’ll get hit with a $ 2 sharing charge for asking for an extra plate. It’s not like 3 adults walked in and ordered two meals. These are little kids who don’t eat much or want home fires and not the egg, etc. so I’m trying to juggle things around. Or ask for a refill for a high-priced fountain soda? Another full price charge, as if this were a bar. There are other incidents but I’ll leave it at that. All in all I’d say that they are just rather unaccomodative. Anyway, it’s a nice cozy spot and it’s convenient. I had another incident with them the other day which is what prompted me to write this review. I won’t be back.

Great breakfast place — limited seating, but then, it’s a small place. Wonderful omelets, not ridiculously huge like the chain places — but big enough — and fresh ingredients. Service can sometimes be uneven, but everyone is very friendly. A nice, low-key place to enjoy being with friends or family, and have good comfort food.

Great pancakes and other breakfast items with fresh fruit and seasonal offerings. Cramped and warm, just like someone’s bustling kitchen. Worth a drive to try it out on a cold morning when you’re craving pancakes but don’t want to make them.

and like that, Mom’s is back! I think I have it figured out. Either the sub par breakfast was a fluke, or they have a lesser cook on the weekday mornings. The banana & walnut pancakes with CRISPS were as good as ever and my Dutch omelet featuring melted gouda was wonderful. I wasn’t really hungry when we went in, but I knew I needed to eat something… yeah right, it was so good I was renewing my «Clean Plate Club» membership before I even knew it!
