New KF Supermarket

If you are looking for a cheap Asian market in River Edge, look no further. This place is super Asian and super cold so dress warmly when shopping here. My parents and I have been coming here for years before Rockland County started offering acceptable Asian vegetables/​products. Parking here is also very convenient.
The inside of the supermarket looks nothing special. It is reminiscent of Chinatown grocery stores-​plenty of cheap, good products with a crappy look. Do not let the interior deter you however. They offer plenty of items, including a variety of vegetables like bitter melon, Japanese eggplants, and whole bunch of Asian vegetables that I do not know the English name to. They also offer a variety of meats, seafood and a plethora of Asian snacks, crackers and candy. They also offer a lot of other random things like medicinal herbs and skin care but I cannot opine too much on that as it was never my focus. Towards the inner end, they also serve hot food Chinese take out, individually packaged dim sum to go and Asian bakery goods. Yum yum yum.

I am a regular goer to New KF, this is the place where I can find almost every Chinese groceries I need with very reasonable price.
If you have never been to any authentic Chinese supermarket in china town before, you probably will feel KF intimidated and will not enjoy shopping here. This is the place where the shopping carts are dirty, the store staffs don’t wear uniform and the store always has the mixed smells of fish, meats and Chinese herbal. However, if you are adventurous and are open-​minded, you will enjoy shopping here ! I urge you to buy ginger here, ginger here is only ¹⁄₃ price compared to H mart, they also have very good price on the fresh sea food as well ! They have fresh made no sugar soy milk and that’s my favorite as well !

A true hidden jewel known only inside the Chinese community. You will find here great price on seafood and fish, lots of unusual meat cuts and Chinese medecine. Friday take out offers are the best. Try Chinese eggplants, tendon, tripe, roasted marinated duck. Take out food is on sale before closing
