Pietro showed up on time, was knowledgeable, and provided me with the information I needed to to ensure my HVAC units remain in top shape. There was small pvc piece that broke during the maintenance process and Pietro played no funny games, he identified the part, replaced it, no questions asked (as it should be but not always with some businesses). Units are in top shape and ready to run through the cold winter.
I would recommend them!

I needed a whole house humidifier and called Elm based on an Internet search. Called and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. Technician, Rafael, was great. He installed the humidifier and explained everything to me about how to operate and maintain it. He was very professional and cleaned up afterwards. The house is much better now.

Quick response after first call. Very professional. Got old unit back up and running, then helped determine the right and most cost effective replacement unit for my house. Scheduled service, which did a temporary install so I would have heat over the holidays, and did a permanent install very quickly after. I am very happy with their service, and would recommend them to others.

So glad we found Elm. We had an emergency call today, and dealing with Jeff was great. Within a few minutes, the problem was solved and our heat was back on. Couldn’t be more pleased.

Top notch and highly recommended. I discovered my heat wasn’t working when I got home from work. I have a wife and baby at home and needed a tech ASAP because it was 45 degrees in my house. I called Elm at 8pm and a tech showed up within the hour. House was heating in no time.
Prices were great for the after hours visit. I saved their number in my phone and know who to call from here on out.

We have used Elm Heating & Cooling for several years, including a recent furnace installation, and have been extremely pleased with the service. Jeff C has worked on our system many times and he is very knowledgeable, both in his diagnoses and problem solving. We always request Jeff C when calling for service or maintenance.

Had my two furnaces cleaned and tuned up by Jerry Z. Jerry is a hard worker and very professional. He explained so much about my system and best practices for keeping it working well for many years to come. I told him he was the professor giving me a master class in furnaces and air conditioners! I have every confidence in the great service provided by Jerry Z and Elm Heating & Cooling!

I had my annual maintenance inspection today with Elm Heating and Cooling, (two gas operated furnaces) my service tech was Jeff C. He arrived early and was prepared for work, did not leave a mess.
Very pleased with the service and the tech.

Jeff was the service rep who performed my «winter tune up» last year and he remembered he’d been here before and was familiar with equipment. I needed replacement combs for the filter and he was able to get the replacements and get it done the same day! He went above and beyond what was expected.

So I get an email from Ron (VP) saying he wanted to talk because he was «concerned with my review and it is not normal practice at Elm.»
Well a few months later while I was out of town for business our Heat stops working. My wife panics and calls Elm because they were close… Right on cue, the Elm technician tells my wife the «furnace is shot and it would be a few thousand $$$ to replace it.»
Well I called the Contractor who has done our last few major remodeling jobs to ask if he knew of a reputable and honest HVAC person he can refer us to… He sent someone over and he told us it was not a furnace problem but a thermostat problem which he fixed for $ 200. It has worked flawlessly since. This is not an isolated incident with Elm… It’s pervasive scamming of people who don’t know any better. I really hope this place ends up on the news or reality TV so they get exposed for their pervasive scamming of its customers.

Let me start off by saying the initial process of buying and installation was a breeze quick and everything worked fine. Now for the next thing we bought a furnace/​ac combo and with that came a duct cleaning (which is not free $ 400 value) we figured we would get this so our units would work at optimal efficiency. We bought this in late July. Had to schedule the duct cleaning separately because that’s a different area than the installation. That is fine but when we scheduled it the first time they never called us to give us a time and when we called them they said they would call us back never did called us the day of and told us they weren’t coming and didn’t give us a reason (mind you had to take the day off for this apparently they don’t do weekends) we called the main office finally told us the truck that does it was broken. Schedule another appt for the following week call us the night before tell us they can’t make it. Husband calls again offer us a tune up for next year cause they can’t give us money back from our purchase who knows why! Also said they would send an email confirming that offer (still have not received it) Scheduled another appt mind you its my wedding week call us the day of to tell us they are not coming again no reason why. Husband called could not get an answer called us while we were on our honeymoon and left voicemails but at this point I just want my money back. I can’t afford to be taking days off and them not coming to do the job.

Jeff serviced my heater this morning. He was courteous, knowledgable, efficient and very helpful. I will definitely ask for him next time I call.

Jeff came to do my annual air conditioner check. He told me what part needed to be replaced, and he replaced it. He told me what further work needed to be done, and he scheduled it for next week. He was prompt and thorough and I was very satisfied with the visit.

We have the annual maintenance plan with Elm and they come out twice a year for the furnace and AC units. Today, 5÷29÷2015, Matt H. was our technician for our annual AC checkup.
He was on time, courteous and professional. The AC unit was clogged with dust and pollen and Matt H. did a very thorough job of cleaning the unit on all 4 sides. I was very happy with the time he took to explain any questions I had.

Tony C. Came out for spring check up on our AC and found and fixed a problem that could have caused a breakdown as soon as the weather gets hot. I’m a believer in annual check ups on AC and on furnace to keep things running with no surprises and no big repair costs. Tony was on time, polite and very professional.

I had Jeff C. today who came to my residential property and completed maintenance on my air conditioning for the Spring. He was helpful and nice to my tenant who did me the favor of letting him into the property, etc as I am at work. He was very detailed with what ELM can offer me at this time in terms of discounts for good parts and for future inspections. It is unfortunate that I could not take any of these offers at this time, but, he was kind enough to write everything down for me, including advice about changing filters every 30 days. And, he left his card for me so I can hopefully ask for him in the future (?). Thanks, Jeffrey!

Good, honest, and patient.
I’m a new home owner and Matt H a tech from elm heating took the time to explain in Lyman’s terms what he was doing and how it would help the longevity of my furnace.
He also answered some electrical and plumbing questions I had which was outside of his «duties» for my bi annual furnace inspection.
He pointed out critical and not so critical issues to be aware of and wasn’t «pushy» a out trying to get a sale.
I’ll continue to business with elm heating and cooling for this house and my next. A big thank you to Matt H, for his professionalism, knowledge, and consideration.
