I’ve been getting my hair done by Mary since 2012 at a previous salon. She is great with color and cuts. I have also referred two friends here that also get their hair done by her. She is sweet and the entire salon is clean and comfortable. Everyone is very close and I like the family feeling when I’m there. They also have some really cute little clothing items and accessories for sale!
I’ve never had my hair done by anyone else here but I highly recommend Mary for anything you need. I’ve never seen anyone walk out with a bad «do» so if she’s not available I’m sure you’ll be in very capable hands!

I bought the groupon for three spray tans for this salon. I had two specific events that I already had in mind to use it for, both quickly approaching. After purchasing my groupon, I called the salon to make an appointment, but my phone call went unanswered. I checked their hours to make sure they were open – it said they were. So I called back. Still no answer. I called the next day & yet again no answer! They do have an answering machine, so I left a message with the exact date, time, & service I wanted with my phone number for them to call me back to confirm. I never received a phone call. My event quickly passed and I was never able to use my groupon for it. The same exact thing happened for the second event. I even drove by the store a couple times since it is in my neighborhood and both times no one was there. So weird! I *finally* was able to reach the salon a couple months later and explained to them what happened and that I still have all three spray tans from groupon to use. They stated that wouldn’t be a problem and for me to ignore the expiration date on it. So I made an appointment and went in later that week. Well what do you know, when I go to pay the cashier is very confused why I am trying to use an expired groupon. I explained my situation & she went to talk to her manager, who then explained to me that they would not be honoring their previous statement and that I could only use the amount I actually paid for on groupon. I paid and left the salon, never to return. I have never had such an unprofessional salon experience in my life. Such a shame too since it is very close to my house but I will definitely be going elsewhere from now on.

Looking for a new place I decided to give Cory’s a try since it’s in the hood. I say I need someone who is good with color since that is all I needed as I am letting my hair grow out. I don’t get the customary reminder call so by noon on the day of the appt I call to confirm. I get a call later from someone confirming, then another call an hour after that confirming again. Was told that no one wrote it down. I arrive and am paired with «Amanda». I like the looks of the place. Comfortable chairs at the sink and in the salon. She is very young, right out of hair-​school as she tells me. For color and highlights she does 3 different processes which took 4 hours. I’ve never been through the processes that she did; Foil-​process, All over color-​process, Wash, Foil again and process. For $ 80 I thought it was a steal. But you get what you pay for. I get home and wash it out the next day and find a ribbon around my crown where the color wasn’t brought to the roots. As I pull my hair back there is a ½ inch gap to my head where my hair is my original grey. And the highlights are thick streaks of gold. I go to a new place the following week for a correction and since the industry hates to talk about their peers she was amazed at the «new growth». I had to keep reminding her the color was only 7 days old. I was referred to Cory’s from a coworker. Later I am told that they hire students while in school and once they get their license they give them a job, so several are brand new in their career. Prior to leaving I made my next appointment. Well of course I call a couple of weeks later to cancel. I am told that they don’t have an «Amanda» there. I told them I had an appointment on Friday at 10am and gave my name. They said I was on the books for a spray tan! I said no, a color with «Amanda». I asked for them to look 2 weeks prior to see who did my hair. I was told that they destroy their hand ledgers at the end of each month so they have no records to refer to. I made sure I reiterated that I am cancelling whatever they have on their books and better not be charged a cancellation fee! What a zoo!

I was not satisfied with the service I received nor the customer service when had questions regarding how they were charging for said services. I gave specific instructions that were given to me by the lady who does my hair out of state as well as showed pictures of said hair. Needless to say what I asked for was not what I got, leaving me dissatisfied. However prior to this the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. After seeing how my hair turned out and even voicing that I wished it had looked different no one said a thing. Then when I went to pay I had a questions about the «bill» and wastold thats how the hairdresser wrote the ticket. I asked to speak with the hairdresser who was 10ft away and the receptionist went over and told her yet she never came to speak with me, instead she walked away from the wash station into the cut area and never came out. That was neither professional nor good customer service, fed up the ticket was paid WITH TIP and I left and went to another salon to have my hair fixed the way it was supposed to be. I don’t believe I should have a) been charged the way I was or b) should have had to leave unhappy after voicing my feelings without the hairdresser or management speaking to me. I DO NOT recommend this salon nor do I EVER intend on returning.

The women at this salon were very nice! I was apart of a wedding and we had 5 bridesmaids, a bride, a flower girl, and a mother of the bride who needed to get their hair and makeup done. The bride decided that she wanted us to get ready at salon — which really made me nervous — and I thought we were only going to have on stylist. Instead, the whole salon got there early to help pamper us! My up-​do was $ 45, lashes were $ 10 and I think makeup was $ 40 or $ 50?
