Was disappointed with the new brunch menu. The food was not as good and not worth waiting in line for anymore.

Gross. Work placed a huge order from GG’s today and most colleagues threw away their food. Bread was stale, meat was low quality and meager portions. We won’t order from GG’s again.

Great sandwiches. Try the Cajun shrimp Philly. Fried shrimp spicy sauce jalapenos and pepperjack cheese. Very good

The two guys who own GG’s are very nice and I have been getting sandwiches from them for a long time. They make pretty good food and they are very nice guys and will remember your name and always have great service. My only complaint is that their prices are getting outrageous! I always get their club sandwich and I think the other day it came to over $ 8. That is a little ridiculous for a club sandwich. It is an ok sandwich but just some ham, turkey and cheese on toasted white bread. I really like these guys and want to support their business but wish their prices were a little more reasonable.

I know I will probably get crucified for this review because everyone always seems to loooove GGs, but I’m not a fan :(Keep in mind I am from the north and not a huge fan of seafood. I enjoy poboys, but my idea of a good time is a nice philly cheesesteak, not soft shell crab, shrimp, etc. That said, I am a huge fan of roast beef(Parrans is my fav!) and last time I went I didn’t think the roast beef here was that good. My boyfriend loves it, perhaps he has a better palette than I, but I thought it was too salty or texturally weird. That led me to order the cheese burger today. I figured if everything is supposed to be so good, why not the burger? Eh, it was less than your average burger and was definitely not medium-well. Love the fries and the people are nice, but not for me :(

This is a great little hole-in-the-wall with terrific food. They have fantastic poboys, daily specials, soups, stuffed tomatoes, and even a veggie poboy. The owners are very friendly. This is the go-to place out in the River Ridge/Harahan area for a great sandwich!

The Cajun Philly is a Louisiana twist on the traditional Philly Cheesesteak and what I get every time. They also have a full selection of Po-Boy’s along with daily hot plate specials. Closed on Sundays and Mondays the place is operated by the two owners who are friendly and make everything from scratch.

GGs is a tradition when I come back into town. Their poboys are indeed overstuffed, have fresh ingredients and are always tasty. They aren’ t the fastest sandwich dressers, but that’s cause they make them when you order them. Complete with a Barq’s Red Cream Soda and a bag of Zapp’s Crawtators, and we’re a happy family!

GG’s in a small strip mall in River Ridge(not Harahan, zip code issues). Lady behind the counter was quite friendly. Thought about getting their Cajun Philly, but settled for the Creole Crunch. It’s a roast beef po-boy that after they make it, it’s squashed and toasted. Plenty of other choices for sandwiches as you’d expect for a neighborhood po-boy shop. They do have a veggie po-boy, but it is not vegan as there are eggs and cheese on it. Also serves daily hot plates.
