I called over to the flooring department this past Saturday night at around 6:30 pm and a young woman picked up the phone, mumbled a couple words and then hung up on me. I call right back, this time I try customer service, customer service transfers me to flooring and this time I get to say about a half a sentence(just a question on base floor trim availability) before she hangs up on me again. Next person I speak to is Megan from Customer Service who says that she witnessed the hang up and was, «flabbergasted». She asks if I could stay on the line for 3 – 5 mins that somebody coming back from a delivery would help pull my order lmao. 5 minutes later a guy comes on the phone acknowledging that one of their employees in flooring is hanging up on everybody! WTF??? At this point I didn’t have time to ask for a manager but whoever was answering the phones in flooring should be standing in an unemployment line!!!

I’ve never seen so many employees standing around chatting in groups while the line in nursery grows longer and longer and longer. One cashier in nursery checkout — two empty registers gathering dust. Nice enough people; slow service at the register.

Well, after receiving our cabinets, we are not as happy with our initial Unilocal review. We have some damaged cabinet doors, some unfinished ends that should have been finished, a cabinet that was ordered wrong, and received someone else’s crown molding. The touch up paint that comes with the order was dried up and hard. My husband went to home depot to explain our issues, and the response we got was…“I’m sorry, At this point, Im sorry was not the answer we were looking for. We were originally told to pick out our appliances and bring all the model numbers to the designer. We did that… Because the cabinets were designed wrong, I had to return ALL my favorite appliances and get appliances that would fit the design. Although the cabinets are beautiful, we will be taking this issue to a higher level with Kraftmaid being as there are some damaged items. We saved and spent hard earned money on our remodel, and we are so very disappointed in Home Depot and the way this was handled. Our wish is that Home Depot would have gone the extra mile to make sure all items were received and in perfect condition. They did not.

I finish installing a new flooring in our kitchen, living room, and hallways. Replace all kitchen cabinets, counter top, cabinets and appliances(stainless steel. Thanks to the people that help me how and design the kitchen. Delivered all the materials and help with my brother in law! All needed to finish is the closest. .My wife is vary happy how it looks. thanks again to all that help me with this projects. With some setback that they made some mistakes in measurement, by three inches, and know my wife, brings it to my attention now that the job is done. She not a happy camper. Three inches ! ?11/2015 It’s ok a to me.

Just recently visited this Home Depot on 11/15/2015 and both my fiancé and I were highly impressed with the level of customer service we received. I can not remember the last time I was in a store… A super chain store and was met with so many smiles and offers to help me find or get were I needed to be. It was rather a pleasant surprise and what turned into a quick trip to pick up a ladder, ended with new washer/dryer. A guy with the name«JR» on his apron was our main help and was professional and courteous… But honestly every employee we came in contact with that day met us with smiles and«can I help you’s» which is amazing to me in this day and age of what seems to be a growing entitled, disgruntled populous. I will be using this Home Depot for all my home needs now for sure.

We recently moved to the area and purchased a home that has required numerous upgrades. We have made two large purchases at this Home Depot location. The first was kitchen countertops and the second was a custom order steel entry door. Both orders had issues. Home Depot’s vendor for countertops — Duracite did a TERRIBLE job on the install. You can look up my review of their job under their company. The custom door was delivered the first time to Hone Depot damaged and had to be reordered. Both issues were vendor issues and we were frustrated at first trying to get associates in each department at Home Depot to escalate our concerns and help us. That is until I got ahold of John the store manager. He was extremely professional and quick to help find resolution to each issue. He assigned Alda as the store liaison to work with each vendor to rectify the damages. I really feel that both John and Alda bent over backwards to help us. I worked customer service for years and there are always issues that arise that are beyond your control. The customer won’t necessarily remember the problems but they will always remember how the store treated them and how the store worked to find resolution. I very much appreciate being treated with kindness and courtesy through all of my frustration. This store is lucky to have a manager like John and employees like Alda.

Come here if you want to spend half your day finding help. I waited 30 minutes for a pallet of cinder blocks to be brought by forklift on an fairly un-busy day. One of many many bad experiences. I ended up grabbing a cart and doing it by hand. I live 1 mile from Home Depot but I’d rather drive to Lowes. They are a bit more pricey but very helpful and more organized.

So we went to Home Depot for a water heater installation which is done through a contractor, Delta Mechanical(I couldn’t find the one for the Modesto area, so I have to post here), and it has been a nightmare since day one. Delta installed the new water heater and that same day it stopped working, and we had to call to have a tech out. The tech showed up and had to relight the darn thing, and then he left. The next day the water heater died again, and once again we had to call. We’re going on day ten now of no hot water, and today was the pinnacle of everything. We went to Home Depot to try and get this taken care of and were promised it’d be handled completely to our satisfaction. Delta was to arrive around 3 to fix the water heater, and three hours later around six we get a call and the guy says he’s fifteen minutes away. Thirty minutes later he’s still a no show, so I called Home Depot and spoke to a manager, and he said he’d find out what was going on. After I got off the phone with the manager the tech happened to show up. The situation was explained to him, and the car and the fridge were all moved out of his way, so he could get right to work. We went inside the house for a moment and come back outside to find that the technician had jumped in his vehicle and left. I called the manager back and he’s once again trying to get a hold of the right person to find out what the situation is. Considering Delta’s garbage reviews that I’ve seen for other states, you’d think that Home Depot would know not to hire them. But hey, it’s a huge company that rakes in millions, so what do they care about their customers, even though their customers are what makes them so big? The worst situation you can have is when you drive however far to the place, walk the mile and a half to the section you think you need to be in, do your product research by phone browser while waiting for an employee to be born, raised to adulthood, hired, trained and placed in the section you need help in, finally extract the information needed to make a selection only to be told that what you want is not stocked at this location. You know I pointed to the floor model(stainless) and asked if they had black in stock. She said they did not have black, so I pointed to the sign affixed to the floor model, right to where it said«black» and said«this sign is incorrect?» She said, «well, it’s not really black, it’s like a really dark grey.» Really? Well whatever the heck it is, I want the one called«black» please. «Oh we don’t stock these.» Walks away. Two stars only because they have a lot of stuff in one(great big) place.

This place had just about everything you need for most home improvement needs. I particularly like this Home Depot because the staff they have is very knowledgable it their departments or they have someone that is. most of the employees here have been in the trade of their departments so it’s nice to have someone to run your ideas off of and ask for advice. If you need something I would recommend this Home Depot over the one in modesto or even the lowes simply because of the staff

Every time my family and I come in here we are greeted with helpful and friendly staff. Love this Home Depot for that! Sometimes I head out by myself(I can be a Ms. Fix it) and when I do look lost, there is always a super friendly person to help me!

I wish I can give no stars to this store. I have never seen worse customer service. In most departments there is only one person working and if they happen to go on break when you need something you are just out of luck. If you happen to ask someone from another department to help you they are quick to remind you that it isn’t their department. I have been on hold with the store for the last ten minutes waiting I speak with someone. Just another example of their horrible customer service. I don’t blame the workers has much as the store itself for having so few people available to help.

Don’t go to Home Depot in Riverbank when it’s HOT outside! It is unthinkable that they do not have central air conditioning! They have a swamp cooler to cool the entire store and I was dripping with sweat after just 15 minutes in the store. Why, oh why would such a new store in such a great location do that? YIKES! I will drive anywhere but there the next time I need anything from a Home Depot.
