Wouldn’t exactly call this a «park» in the sense that it’s a narrow strip along the Peconic river that stretches from the aquarium to Peconic Ave. It’s basically a parking lot behind Riverhead’s desolate Main St with a bike lane, a couple benches and a gazebo. Please avoid after dark, this is a high crime area so be extra diligent in the parking lot.

No idea this park even had an official name, just always referred to it by its location (included in this listing). Not quite as many bells & whistles as its traffic-circle neighbor Milton Burns Park since its revamp, but certainly a nice option with closer parking, if walking is an issue for anyone. As Rob stated, there’s a public facility of sorts, and they host a ‘farmer’s market’ on occasion.
