History
Established in 2010.
Bistro 72 at Hotel Indigo East End provides guests with an upscale casual dining experience on eastern Long Island. Our menu, bar and entertainment reflect the best of Long Island’s riches. We’ve designed a space that is casual yet sophisticated. We pride ourselves on polished and attentive service.
Executive Chef James Junk partners with farmers, fisherman and bakers to bring you a menu that is balanced with extraordinary entrees, creative salads, fun appetizers and classic favorites.
Restaurant Manager Jessica Higgins partners with vintners, brewers and distillers to bring the island’s best wine, beer and spirits to the Bistro bar. With more than 20 local wine varietals, eight East End craft beers, a collection of regionally made spirits, in addition to a full bar; there is always reason enough to raise a glass at Bistro.
If that’s not enough, we’ve booked the calendar with Long Island’s most talented musicians; performing Wednesday through Saturday weekly.

Manager
Executive Chef James Junk has created a menu that suits Bistro 72 at Hotel Indigo East End perfectly. Striking the right balance between expertly-prepared, local, seasonal, entrees; and creative twists on classic favorites, you’re sure to find just what you’re looking for at Bistro 72.
A native Long Island East Ender, James’ seasonal offerings feature locally inspired entrees made with artisanal ingredients expertly presented. Atlantic Sea Scallops in Green Scallion Beurre Blanc, Long Island Duck in Port Wine Reduction or Steamed Mussels in a Long Ireland Brewery Beer Broth all celebrate the best of what Long Island has to offer.
If something a little more casual is what you had in mind, Chef James has you covered. With 3 flat bread pizzas, 6 classic sandwiches, 3 salads and more than 10 appetizers on the menu there is surely something to satisfy your craving.
All in all, Chef James has masterfully created a menu that everyone can enjoy.
