A & H Party Rents

My family and I went there twice to inquire about some rentals. Both times the woman in the shop was rude to us and to the staff there. We decided not order from here.

Great rental company that has anything you could imagine needing for your party/​event/​wedding etc… they put a lot of pride in there work and will make sure you are happy and content with your rental items and always show up on time and really are the best in the business and provide an elite level of professionalism

We used A&H for our daughter’s bridal shower and wedding and could not have been more happy we did! They delivered everything we asked for without a single problem. I even had to call them to change their delivery time at the last minute and they had no problem with it. Sonya and Kelly were extremely nice and patient with me every time I called. I highly recommend A&H Rents for anyone needing a terrific rental company!

Very attentive and greeting customers. Gave suggestions of length of linens and runners for the tables we had. Had varies colors in linens and they had coral When returning the items they made sure you were there in front of them so they can count them and see if there was no damage. Will come back again! Great pricing, discounts available… I shopping all around Riverside and surrounding cities. Delivery price is very reasonable. Prompt delivery and set up, staff very friendly and reliable. Very helpful in figuring out everything you would need to set up your event and make it as less stressful as possible. I rented a 20×20 canopy, lighting, a dance floor, table and chairs and everything was in excellent condition. Very happy, highly recommend!

This is the second time, I rent tables and chairs from this company. It will be my last time! In December I rented chairs and tables for a Christmas party and when I asked to see the Dj lights to be displayed for me I felt like the ladies working there didn’t care to turn on the DJ lights and they told me they couldn’t since there wasn’t an extension cord available, the people working there have a bit of a snobby unapproachable attitude. Last week I rented 50 chairs and 7 tables when I returned them unfortunately one of the chairs had a slight bend and I have no problem paying for their damaged chair, but it’s the behavior they showed me, that I didn’t appreciate. I told the receptionist to charge me for the chair and both the receptionist and possibly owner stood there examining the chair and making comments, that were not necessary. if I agree without hesitation to be charged and I took full responsibility of the slightly bent leg, then why not just charge me instead of going through the time to talk to each other about the chair in front of me making it a big deal! I seriously thought she was about to take a picture or something of the chair! She proceeded to tell me that I can have the chair since I am being charged 25. Dollars for it, I didn’t accept the chair and told her to KEEP IT she insisted that everyone else keeps a chair that is bent and it’s going straight to the trash, I told her I don’t need it. She walked away talking out loud about the chair and really made herself look stupid because she collected my money charged me for the bent chair and should leave it at that, but because of her poor unfriendly customer service and bitter character It’s best that I rent somewhere else. Don’t get me wrong I am completely at fault for a bent leg on the chair and being charged IS NOT the problem! what is the problem is their ugly drama behavior. It takes more energy to be a negative individual then to be a professional. Sorry You lost my business.

Have rented several times from this party rental company. They are always professional to work with, timely with their deliveries and always have high quality items. I have never been disappointed over the many years of doing business with them. Will continue to rent from them for years to come!

Excellent Customer Service! Very Accommodating and reliable from the Owner Janice to Store Associates, To Delivery Team! Dunk Tank was highlight of my event (Graduation Party). Chiller table event tables and chairs were beautiful! Although I had to relocate my party venue from community park to my home. Janice provided me with support and suggestions on how to re adjust party at my home. I will not use any other party rental supplier again!

They were wonderful to work with! The date of my event had changed due to unforeseen circumstances and they were very flexible. I had to call a few times to add and change items I had rented and they were very understanding and extremely helpful! Very profession, courteous and punctual. I will be using them for other party needs and highly recommend them.

Rented tables, chairs, umbrellas and linens for a baby shower in Riverside. I was a bit apprehensive since I live in OC and didn’t know the folks allowing me to use their home for the shower. Rented from them 22 years ago for my sons first birthday party and remember it being a good experience so I called them for this event.
I can and do recommend A&H Rents, they took all the worry and stress out of all the unknowns this time. Delivery at the proper time, and pick up was difficult since the guys on the truck couldn’t catch the homeowners at home. But they told me that it would be taken care of, and it was, and very professionally at that! Thank you to the girls answering the phone and helping me out when I couldn’t be in Riverside to handle things myself!

A & H Party Rents is great! I have dealt with them on and off since 1975. Last year we had a Homecoming Party at the University of Redlands with table and chairs rented from a local company. When they failed to deliver on time, prepaid for and refused delivery I called A&H. I knew them to be reliable and helpful. They had our table and chairs delivered and set up in 90 minutes. Not only did they save the day, but their wonderful staff came back after hours to take their stuff back as we did not want to leave the rented furniture out all night. Great company and great staff!

I have been doing business with A&H Party Rentals for over 13 years now and have never had a poor experience. All the staff have been proficient and professional in everything they do. I would HIGHLY recommend their services for any party needs you might have. Keep up the excellent work guys!

See my tip… they ROCK… others I called sounded like «garage» companies… not good they are mom n pop and that’s what I like… always better service! I wish I had taken pictures just too crazy busy!

This review is for the costume section (upstairs) of their location. The fact that they had everything FX wise that I was looking for, for my boyfriend and I’s costume was an automatic WIN in my book. I didn’t think I would be able to find any Mehron or Ben Nye in Riverside, yet alone the IE! Let me tell you, they had everything I needed and if not had something similar that could replace what I was looking for.
The girl that helped me was very helpful and told me that if there were any other Ben Nye products that were needed to let her know and they could be ordered for me instead of me having to book it to LA for a few things. Fabulous!
I’m not sure what other reviewers are complaining about. Yes, they have a limited selection of makeup, but it’s not your everyday typical makeup– it’s usually used for theatrical purposes or special effects (think zombie, dead person, clown, etc!). Spirit gum and remover, eyelashes and glue, crêpe hair, etc they had it all behind the counter.
I’ll definitely be coming back here.

They are some of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. I can hardly believe they’re still in business. It’s sure not because of the way they treat customers!

This place has a great selection of Rental Items that I have seen in the store, but they are severely lacking in the costume department. They have a little bit of this, and a little bit of that, but not exactly anything specific. I found the service to be stuffy, the employees seem to want you out as fast as possible. But if your looking for a very limited selection of make up or a cheap costume on the go – this place may do it for ya.

FINALLY I found a decent costume shop with supplies for cosplay !! I went to A & H looking for a blank mask in order to create something for a costume I am working on and found it. Thank you for having what I needed and ending my long, arduous quest. A & H also carries Ben Nye body paint or if you only need a smidge for hands and face they carry a paint stick. It is a popsicle stick with paint on it that you wet and rub on the area you need colored. I am definitely going here first for any and all costume supplies, especially seasonal items that big chain places dump as the holiday is over.
