History

Established in 2003.

In 2003, David Shay started what was known as Computer Guys on 50 flyers, door-​to-​door. Talk about a shoe string budget. As people started to talk, business started to grow. Since that time, at the start of 2009 he changed the name of the company to Active IT Solutions. We came from taking care of our neighborhood home computers, to taking care of our neighborhood business’s. Thank you so much for believing in us and taking us to the next level. We are only where we are at because of you (the client.)

Business Owner

David Shay started this company in 2003 on a shoe string budget just out of high school. Since then, he has built this company into a trusted and reliable resource for small businesses in the Inland Empire. He believes that as technology changes, so should the company. We are always growing, always changing, and always looking for the next big tech solution that is going to help transform local companies for the better.

David is also an avid hiker, climber, musician, and worship leader. He currently attends and leads at Sandals Church in Riverside CA

For whatever you need, do it here. I have used David and Chris for email setup for my company, website maintenance, hacking in and fixing my surface (which Microsoft said could not be done), and hardware purchase and set up. They did things and taught me things that amaze me. Forget the rest. if it has to do with computers, use Active IT.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I was having a lot of trouble with my network for two weeks. I tried everything and couldn’t get it to work. I called Active IT Solutions and they came out the same day. Dave showed up exactly when he said he would. He was very knowledgeable and got everything working again in under an hour. He was very polite and was not short or snobbish like many IT guys are. I especially liked how he walked me through troubleshooting steps over the phone before he came out in an attempt to save us some money.

Anytime we need help with anything, they’re only a phone call away. Many things can be fixed over the phone, on the spot, and if not, we’ve always got someone from Active at our office attending to the matter the same day.

We have several computers, web cameras, and some networking issues that need constant attention. David from IT has been working with us for 4 years and fixing our technology.
There are some things we can do” in house” but most we need a professional to install, uninstall, network, and test. He and Kenny recently came in and migrated our database over to SQL Server and got us a new firewall when he saw ours was corrupted. Everything is working great! We will call you back anytime we need service :-)

Was having some issues with our home computer system. Still worked but, slow and driving me nuts. My husband called Active IT and David came over a few days later. He was done in less than 90 minutes and problem was solved. No driving all over trying to find a trustworthy store. Not super expensive either considering I did not have to drive to drop off or pick up. Would definitely call them again if needed.

I have used David a few times to work on my home network and solve a few printer problems. I have different operating systems on the computers which caused some printer issues. David figured it out and got all the machines to see each other. He has done the work at my house and remotely. When he has come to my house he shows up on time, and I fell his prices are very fair, I would reccomend him
