I have been in this location(Galleria at Tyler) several times. Fun items and decent prices. Today, Sunday, there was one young girl working. Very quickly the store filled up and a long line at the checkout had about 5 people in it. I had noticed an employee going into the back room. Several of us in line figured she would come right out as this young employee(I really felt sorry for her) was up front doing piercings. One lady in line went and knocked on the back door. No answer. I went back an knocked harder. No answer. I opened the door and said, «Hello» and a woman’s voice said, «hello» back. I was not going to enter as it said Employees Only on the door. I went back in line and you could hear people grumbling. Finally after about 5 minutes a woman comes out from the back. I asked her if she was the manager and she said(in a very snooty tone) that she was. I told her that people have left her store as the only employee is busy up front. Also told her that she is losing a lot of money. She began to tell me that the law says she has to have lunch. Really??? Take a bite and come out and help the one employee! This manager was rude and condescending and I really would hate to work for her. She has no customer service skills. I am going to call Claire’s HQ tomorrow morning to complain. Claire’s has lost my business because of an incompetent manager who treats employees and customers poorly!

Took my 3 month old twins to get their ears pierced. First one went good, the girl did them a lil uneven, but we weren’t that worried. Then it was my second daughters turn. We warned her our daughter gets very upset easily and if she wasn’t sure, to just be patient and not pierce til she was sure. She managed to pierce way to high, through very thick cartilage, did not even pierce her earlobe. My daughter cried the whole way home in pain. I know she was in pain bc this was last week. We decided two days ago to try a jeweler. Bay jewelers at Moreno Valley mall did it for half the cost, and she only cried for 30 seconds. This was a good piercer. At Claire’s she then said sorry I can’t get it out and stopped trying to take the earring out, leaving us with no gloves trying to get it out. Then she just walked away and started ringing people up. I guess we were no longer important. Didn’t even give us a discount after messing up and putting my daughter in so much pain and distress and she still charged us! Worst Claire’s ever I guess just anyone can get hired and start piercing people. And they should have more than one employee working. She had to keep leaving us every two min to go ring people up. We aired for our turn they should’ve had to wait too. It took us an hour bc of that, when we went to the jeweler, we were in and out In literally 5 mins. I want my money back
