Politti offers weekly American Tribal Style® (ATS®) Bellydance Classes in the heart of Downtown Riverside, CA at Body Temple Studio.

American Tribal Style® Bellydance: Level 1

Monday eves 6:30 — 7:30 pm

This beginning class will introduce students to basic fast steps and slow movements from the FatChanceBellyDance® ATS® (American Tribal Style®) Bellydance format.

American Tribal Style® Bellydance: Level 1.5 (Dancing in Formations)

Monday eves 7:30 — 8:30 pm

This class will focus on strengthening fast and slow technique while dancing in formations. *Completion of Politti’s Level 1 or a strong knowledge of basic ATS® moves as well as instructor referral is required to take this class

American Tribal Style® Bellydance: Level 2

Tuesday eves 6:30 — 7:30 pm

In this on-​going class, we will be adding many more steps from the FatChanceBellyDance® ATS® (American Tribal Style®) Bellydance format to your improvisational vocabulary. *Completion of Politti’s Level 1 & Level 1.5 or a strong knowledge of basic ATS® moves and formations, as well as instructor referral is required to take this class

American Tribal Style® Bellydance: Level 3

Tuesday eves 7:30 — 8:30 pm

In this progressive on-​going performance prep class we will put all those FatChanceBellyDance® ATS® (American Tribal Style®) Bellydance moves you have learned to work! *An exam taken and passed with Politti is required to take this class

History

Established in 2012.

After closing the Oasis Dance Studio in May of 2012, Politti moved her classes to Body Temple in Downtown Riverside, CA and couldn’t be happier.

Body Temple is located in the BASEMENT of the Life Arts Building on the SE corner of University Ave. and Lemon St. in downtown Riverside

*The studio BASEMENT entrance is on Lemon St.*

Parking is on the street or in parking lots next to or across the street from the Life Arts Building

* Parking is FREE downtown after 5pm*

Business Owner

Politti Ashcraft has studied bellydance for over 20 years, with a strong focus on American Tribal Style® Bellydance.

Politti has earned her General Skills for ATS® (American Tribal Style®) Bellydance AND ATS® Teacher Certifications from Carolena Nericcio-​Bohlman, director & founder of FatChanceBellyDance®. She has also completed and passed her BASI (Body Arts & Science International) Pilates Comprehensive Teacher Training Program.

Politti strives to honor the community aspect of the dance in her bellydance classes along with an emphasis on studying this art form as a discipline. She enjoys instilling her students with a passion for the dance, just as her teachers before her did.
