Mission Statement

Core Athletic is a staple in our community where individuals, couples, and families are empowered and challenged to live a healthier lifestyle and set the example for others to do the same. Core Athletic’s pursuit of excellence is evident in every action being taken with integrity, passion, enthusiasm and a focus on the members in our community.

Vision Statement

Core Athletic will be the ELITE training facility in the Kansas City area and the AUTHORITY in athletic performance, functional fitness, nutritional education and health services.

Meet the Manager

Steve R.

Manager

Steve was born and raised in Kansas City, Mo and attended Rockhurst High School before leaving to play football at the University of Missouri in 2004. During his career at the University of Missouri, Steve was a four year letterman as a starter on the special teams unit and played in the rotation as a linebacker. In 2008 during the first game of his senior campaign, Steve suffered a career ending knee injury sending his NFL dreams and aspirations to a sudden halt.

After a series of knee surgeries and rehabilitation Steve found a new path in life and began coaching strength and conditioning at the University of Missouri. He spent time coaching and mentoring both male and female athletes of various sports and found where his true passion was in life. In 2013, Steve brought his «inside — out» coaching method back to Kansas City, Mo and looks forward to the opportunity to encourage & motivate his members to be the best they can be as they move forward on their fitness journey!
