History

Established in 2009.

Direct AC was created to keep people comfortable. Their number one priority is providing top-​quality air conditioning service to people in need. After working several years in the air conditioning industry, Jason Friend (President at Direct AC) saw that the customer service in the air conditioning field had become a lost art. Jason is a fourth generation air conditioning contractor and his great grandfather actually invented one of the first humidifiers for HVAC equipment. Jason says «It’s all about helping people. There’s no better job than keeping people comfortable.» Taking his vision for unparalleled customer service and the drive to help people, Jason created Direct AC. He said «Most of our work comes through word of mouth. When someone recommends our company to their friends or family, that’s better than any advertising I can do.» Direct AC has recently expanded their territory and now serves most of Southern California from San Diego to Los Angeles.

Started in the industry in 1995. Worked in all aspects of HVAC including service, installation, design, and management. Later in his carrier he focused and specialized in new air conditioning installation and design. He noticed there was a need in the market for better customer service and superior HVAC system design. Direct AC was born. In 2009 Jason started Direct AC and quickly became the leader and go to expert on air conditioning installation. Jason states «Taking the time to do things right and attention to detail matter. Finding the right heater and/​or air conditioner to fit our clients needs is what allows us to be the best. With todays ever changing HVAC market it is important we educate our clients on all their options and provide them with the very best installation possible.» Jason now spends most of his time overseeing the education and constant improvement of his team.
