This is the best place to bring your kid especially if they are first timer. Took my son here today and he was a little nervous but they made him feel comfortable, the staff are friendly and the place is really clean. Can’t wait for mine tomorrow.

Another great visit to Gateway Dental Group. I had my checkup with Dr Montgomery and cleaning with Gabby the Hygienist. Both were so helpful and caring– no pain at all. The front office is warm and welcoming and make you feel like family. I need to see a specialist and they have an endodontist right on site which is so easy. Highly recommended!

My experience at Gateway was stellar! 5 STARS ALL THE WAY! Dr. Montgomery and dental hygienist Gabrielle Lemos were nothing but professional, kind and expedient. I needed a cleaning and an extraction. Huge thanks to Dr. Montgomery for painlessly extracting a tooth that had been bothering me for years! The entire staff at Gateway are compassionate and fun! I just recently had an appointment at Gateway Dental, my experience was great! I was greeted kindly in a timely manner. Shortly after arrival, I was taken back by the dental assistant for my x-​rays. This was a smooth process. After the x-​rays I was sat in a room where I would meet the hygienist; she was extremely nice and made my teeth cleaning an enjoyable experience. Not one time did I feel pain or discomfort and she educated me throughout the process. During the cleaning the dentist came in and did a quick check. She was very professional and made me feel comfortable with the experience. Overall the staff was great and I will be returning here for my check up in 6 months! Thank you!

Fast forward, I had a crown they made me fall off 3 times! They replaced it for free, but really 3 times! The third time I went they really lowered their customer service, probably because I wasn’t going to waste a ton of money. They ALWAYS overbook and the dentists always look rushed. I used to overlook this little detail, but it’s actually pretty upsetting when I ask an estimate of time, get told 45 mins, and end up being there for 6 hours! (not counting when I went to lunch) The oral hygienist sold me on «irrigation and laser cleaning» it’s funny because once my care credit amount went up so did everything I needed done. That was really a rip off. Another time the receptionist was extremely rude, which I was shocked at. But again, this was when trying to book, my free 3^rd crown… Dr. Montgomery and Dr. Gigliano (hope I spelled their last names correctly) are great dentists. But due to everything else that occurred, I no longer recommend this place. I just stopped using them. I recently went to a dentist 2 of my co-​workers used. Dr Feliciano, in Moreno Valley. Google him. Now HE was a truly genuine dentist. It’s a bit of drive and his office is not as updated, but I would much rather go there. He spent time with me, and didn’t leave me waiting an eternity, and definitely didn’t try to sell me on things I don’t need to make an extra buck.

Horrible. I was told my 1^st visit was going to be free. Free cleaning free ex rays etc. My first visit was scheduled for a cleaning and x-​rays, they didn’t have time so I had to come back for my cleaning. Once I made an appointment for next visit I was told I needed to pay per my insurance. Silly. They told me it’s illegal to wave the fee. Seriously. Horrible service. Shop around before coming here. Other places will wave those fees, I know cause I did check other dentist and they said 1^st visit free. All lies at Gateway dental.

SHADY SHADY OFFICE. This honestly was the WORST EXPERIENCE for me. I was told I needed a crown or onlay which costs over $ 1000 and I don’t have dental insurance but I got a second opinion from a trusted dentist come to find out I DIDNT HAVE ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE TOOTH. What a SHADY office. Unfortunately so many offices are just there to put you in debt and are not honest! I’m questioning the root canal I got done there which (I’m still paying off) because i had no problems with the tooth prior.
DONT GO HERE GO TO AN OFFICE YOU CAN TRUST.

In and out. No pain at all. Friendliest staff hands down. I don’t mind going the to dentist at all. Dr. Montgomery and staff are amazing. Thank you Gateway for making my dental visit beyond enjoyable.

Beware! Running a scam, tell you that you need deep cleaning when you do not. They want you to pay so much out of pocket. We have insurance everything that was recommended was NOT covered (Told my husband he has bone loss, gingivitis and periodontal disease, when 6 months ago at previous dentist was told teeth were in great shape). We have been going to our previous dentist for YEARS and never had an issue. We relocated to Riverside, only reason a we needed a new dentist. Read reviews, and go to a practice that cares about your teeth. Old fashioned dentists are so hard to find now!
Update: Insurance company called office and told to email in x-​rays so they could be reviewed by specialist to confirm diagnoses. She gave a million excuses why she could not, and Tawny was rude to both myself and insurance rep. At this point we would never go back. Transferring dentists right now. Go elsewhere!

And I thought it was just me. The dentist is great. Friendly and helpful. The staff on the other hand needs a complete makeover. Unfriendly, uninformative, insensitive and just plain pushy. If you do go to this office, be prepared to get conflicting information from the staff. I would recommend taking your business elsewhere, it’s not worth the headache.

The whole team is AMAZING! They get you what you need and work with all insurance. Rene is an insurance rock star. She can explain it like no one else I know. Gabby does amazing cleanings. Even the dentists are cool, knowledgable, friendly and gentle. I HIGHLY recommend this place to everyone I know. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

Well it’s a pretty clean place. The staff are nice and seem to know what they are doing. And the wait time was nothing so pretty quick on bringing you back. My insurance completely covered my x-​Rays and exams. But when it came time to discuss what needed to be done and the price out of my pocket. I just don’t have $ 955 for a deep cleaning and to fix a cavity. If I had the money to do it at this place I would. I’m just going to have to find a cheaper place. Or just take some vice scrips and rip out my cavity. All in all come here if you have a good amount of money to spend.

The customer service had been great and I love Gabby, the hygienist! Was introduced to Dr. Montgomery, my new dentist, and really like her… She’s very thorough and gentle. She also was friendly and seemed like she really cares

Been coming to this location since 2009. All I can say is that they are very consistent with how they treat my family. Loving and caring and its normal to get great service, but I love the fact it’s the same smile I see every time and nothing changes. Thanks for being a great team.

Beware of what they say needs to be done. They told me I needed a deep cleaning when I’ve always had good teeth. Never any gum problems or anything. I went for a second opinion elsewhere and the dentist said my teeth were great!
I also did some research about how unnecessary deep cleaning is actually harmful for your teeth. They are not honest and this place is just super expensive.

I really enjoyed my visit to the dentist with Dr. MIchael today. I had a root cannel done and he was awesome !!! Fast, clean and nice… Also Jamie his assistant was very nice helping me to get thru it with what they facilitated for me. Thank you once again — My dentist ROCKS !!!

This is the worst dentist ever… Dr To is like a used car salesperson. Also when I was due for my 1 yr cleaning she said «your teeth are fine, they don’t need to be cleaned»…what…really! I have 2 other friends that went PPO insurance just to get away from Gateway… Dr To told me i had a crown with a leak and it needed replacing… not, my new wonderful dentist couldn’t find anything while cleaning my teeth… Beware and don’t go there…

Update: my husband and I decided to stop going to this dental office. On top of the lack of customer service from the front desk, my husband called Monday to cancel his cleaning appt for today (Wednesday) and though he spoke to a live person, he got a call today asking why he missed his appt.
We did like the dentists and the dental hygienist, so customer service is not an issue there!!!
Another reason we decided to leave was financial, and I’m posting this since many others have complained about being over charged by this facility. We never understood why we had to pay for our bi-​yearly cleaning, when our insurance covers cleanings. We never got an explaintation as to why, just that this is what we were left to pay after insurance. For us, we learned this dental provider though they accept our dental insurance, they are not in our «network» so they can charge us more than what the insurance provides. Basically, gateway dental gets the money my dental insurance provides for my bi-​yearly cleanings… And then basically double dips and gets money from me too. I can’t speak for everyone, that’s is just our experience with insurance at this facility.
