Gus Jr Restaurants

This place use to have good service and food. The cashier/​drive thru employee is rude and slow. Waited at drive thru for almost 5 min waiting for someone to answer. Then she’s rude and still talking to some other employee inside. I usually have patients for these types of restaurants but it was too much. The food was horrible. Never again will I go there.

My husband picked up take out for us on jan 3, 2016 and it was the worst ever. I called the place and spoke to the manger to let her know how under cooked our zucchini, onion rings and fries were. She said she would have to speak to the cooks (why?) and she would get back to me. I gave her my ticket number and entire order. She never did! So disappointed with their lack of customer service and quality of food. I will not return.

Gus Jr. has the best chicken tenders, they are warm and breaded perfectly. They are very soft actually have chicken. Not like other places that have thiers crusty and minmal chicken. I also enjoy thier salads definitely a great buy.

Horrible servive in drive through waited 20 min and there was only 1 cook and the 1 cashier has a attitude problems had to get out of drive through go inside and get my lunch

Nasty food! Ordered burger and waffle. Burger did not taste like a burger, tasted like processed garbage. Waffle was cold and no flavor

This is only my second time coming here. I took this order to go. I was very disappointed the fries were not cooked all the way and very soggy. Our zucchini didn’t have any flavor. We ended up throwing them away.

I like to stop here for breakfast on the way to my office. I hit the drive through and normally get through pretty quickly.
I normally order a bacon breakfast burrito with no hash browns and I love it! It has become one of my favorites for breakfast when I’m in a hurry to get to the office to get to work.

solid 3. their taquito plate is really tastee! 4 fat rolled beef taquitos with decent rice and beans for under $ 8. however, you have to buy a drink (not the same as a cheeseburger combo). I will repeat the taquito plate. Overall, its cleaner than most joints out there.

I was so frustrated… came here for breakfast and the drive thru wait was almost 15 minutes for just my order, and they still missed my breakfast burrito. I had to repeat the order 3x and it was still wrong. I ended up picking up another meal across the street.

I won’t be coming here at all again, service is not good, I waited 15 minutes in the drive thru for my food the cashier lady had no expression on her face when giving me my food and taking my payment not friendly at all, and the burger was alright had better, and this is the 2^nd time going there my first was not good at all either.

I’ve been to the Gus location on University and had a horrible experience but this location was way better. The meat was nice and thick, it wasn’t thin, it could have took a little more seasoning but the taste was there. The fries were in and out style, but larger which was a plus! Everything was good I like how they let you choose all day breakfast throughout the day. Out of 5 stars this place gets a 3 but nothing I repeat nothing has upheld to my beloved Johnny’s burgers in Casa Blanca!

Decided to come here for breakfast. Used drive thru ordered french toast, some breakfast burritos and pancakes. I waited at the drive thru window for 20 minutes. Thats not exagerating, 20 MINUTES! they didnt even ask me to park in front for a while or anything, even worse didnt even get an apology for the wait!
Food was pretty decent, but not worth the 20 min wait.

I have a huge appetite… but has yet to finish a meal without bringing home a take-​out box! this place serves ginormous portions. Try their salads… mmmmm!!!

Waited 25 min for a chicken salad actually saw it ready then passed out the drive threw as they argued it was min the lady waiting for 15 min already they made another one very sloppy and with a hair in it guess this is from the girl at the register helping my half hour lunch was exceeded 5 min just waiting and after the hair there was no need eat it! I should have posted 6 months ago since I’ve been going that long that they are not bad, but I usually only post when something is excellent or really bad in the middle seems to leave no impression. Won’t be going back to bad so close to work and use enjoy the salad and breakfast here

We ordered over $ 50 worth of food, 7 different items and they messed 5 of them up. Also we had to wait over 20 minutes! They know it too, I repeated the order 2 times and when I received the order, went over it again. I get home and it was wrong.

They must have had a bad night tonight because the service was horrible. Didn’t get the order correct when ordered (I don’t think the girl spoke very good English) and unfortunately I don’t speak very good Spanish. Anyway they started to bring the food out one dish at a time, normally this wouldn’t have been a problem except it came one dish every ten minutes or so.
Nobody got to eat together, and they forgot my little girls dish altogether, bummer.

Came to take home some food because its been a while since I’ve ordered from here, but I was SO disappointed in the pastrami sandwich. It’s not like how it used to be. The fried zucchini was ok but this place used to be better. Unfortunately I wasted $ 12 on disappointment. :/

I told their employee at the cash register I ordered from that I had a Groupon. She just nodded. So I ordered two breakfast meals that I was charged their regular price. Then I showed the cashier my Groupon Voucher page with my redemption code on my iPhone 6 Plus. But all she & the manager she showed it to asked me is if it was an iPhone 6 or 6 Plus!
Then the morning manager said they don’t have a machine to take Groupons anymore. And she refused to take one of my 6 Groupons for them! I should have left then. But I thought I’d try their food while I was there.
But the Bacon wasn’t crisp or burnt like I ordered it on both items. And when I complained, they cooked it for another minute, and asked me if it was enough. But it was only medium then. So I said no. And they cooked it for another couple of minutes until it looked crisp.
So their service was bad too! And I’m telling Groupon & my credit card company I want a full refund for their 6 Groupons. Since they wouldn’t honor it! And I’ll never go their again! And I don’t recommend that anyone else ever go there again, unless they improve their service & quality!

Ordered a grilled chicken salad for lunch. Got it back to my office and noticed the chicken breast was raw… Called to complain and maybe have a new one made with cooked chicken. person that answered phone was rude and put me on hold… the next person on the phone Sandra was EXTREMELY rude. Told her my problem and her answer was «we didn’t sell any chicken salads today» really? I’m looking at your receipt with my order #, your phone#, address & time on it. And I know where I ordered my food… No apology from her. Not bring the food back, nothing… Just bring your receipt in whenever… Really! Gus Jr better work on hiring better staff and maybe enrolling their employees in some food preparation classes! Horrible service. I’d give NO stars if it would let me!

Very bad customer service. The cashier was not the brightest! She was very rude and didn’t smile at all. The food was not good. I’ve had better. My bacon avocado burger was soggy and looked like it had just gotten out of the microwave. Not coming back.
