Avoid this place at all costs! I have my regular salon that I attend, but a friend of mine wanted to try this salon out due to more affordable prices. I was a bit skeptical after reading the reviews, but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt, since my salon only has 3 stars, too, and they’re great! As soon as I’m taken to the back where they have their nail salon I saw that there was quite a few people, so I was excited. All of the employees are Hispanic and fairly young — that made me cringe. This is not your typical Asian salon, and I wondered if they would half ass their job. Some girl did my pedicure and she did an ok job, but all of the equipment looked old and disgusting. The main reason why I get pedicures is for the cleanliness, and foot massage, and it literally lasted 5 seconds at the most per foot. From there, the young lady told me some other girl was going to do my manicure, since she was going to do a full set. Once I sit down the girl asks if I have gel on, which I did on about 6 of my nails (the rest I pealed off) & she said ok, took them off, and come to find out I was charged for that! She didn’t even have the audacity to ask me if I was ok with that. I would have done my own nails if I knew what i was getting myself in to. Well, after she takes the gel off she tells me to soak my nails in cold water! I assume she’s going to put cuticle softener, but she didn’t! She takes my cuticles off and then cuts my nails much much shorter than I asked her to, and I told her I wanted them rounded, not squared, and she gave me really sharp squared nails!!! Ugh, I was annoyed. I ask her if she can round my nails again after she did one and she said «how round do you want them? This is the best I can do» let me tell you, they were anything BUT round. I decided to let it be… Again, her supplies were disgusting… They do not keep anything sanitized. I took my own nail polish, and this girl was using 10x more than she should be, but I didn’t want to be rude and ask what is she thinking! Oh, and this woman did not even give me a hand massage!!! Aside from no massage, she didn’t even clean under my nails, and I had to do it myself when I got home! =\ I paid $ 32 total — $ 17 for pedicure, $ 10 for manicure & $ 5 for the gel take-​off. Wtf??! $ 10 & I didn’t even get a massage!!! I only saved $ 3 on my pedicure compared to the regular salon I attend, and let me tell you — Chinitas take care of you, these girls don’t!!! I only liked that I can converse at this salon, but that’s not enough. To top it off, you can feel the bad energy between the employees, which make it really awkward. Oh, and the seats during manicures are really close to each other, and the lady besides us was doing a fill, and when she told her client to wash her hands she picked up the rag where all of the dust was from the acrylic and she started smacking it around with dust flying everywhere!!! It got in my face, I was mortified that this woman thought it was in any way appropriate to do that while myself and her coworker were sitting so close. That woman needs some etiquette lessons.

Came today for the princess mani/​pedi for my 3 year old on her birthday. I was told by one of the girls that any questions I had had to go thru her because the girl doing my daughters nails did not speak English. Ok, no big deal. So I’m sitting in the «area» where they paint the kids nails, talking to my daughter and trying to make the best of a special day since the girl was not speaking to her. I took a few pictures with my phone then was told by some lady that was doing nails in the back that I couldn’t sit with my daughter and I had to wait in the designated area in the front. Problem is you cannot see the area where my daughter was.
I told her i was her mom and she didnt seem to care. Not to mention $ 40 for a plastic crown, 5 minute pedicure and manucure with a nail person that did not speak.
Go to Monkeydooz in the mall. Way better.

My first time here. Soon as i walked in i got great service. Then to find out it was from the owner herself at the front :) a lady named jessica did my nails, and they ended up exactly how i visualized them. She was awesome, and very personable. I wont be going anywhere else from now on

First review I write I thought I should write on this because I almost doubted on going here based on the reviews and guess what I loved this place the work they do is awesome my nails came out perfect no bumps not crooked or too thick and I am very picky Lorena was friendly talkative and a perfectionist

Just got my nails done here for the first time today, by Aly at the Riverside location. I am very picky when it comes to my nails & I must say that she did a great job, was fast & gentle! She was very friendly with me and her employees! Very welcoming atmosphere! Fair prices too! I will definitely be back! Highly recommend to everyone!

My gf recommended Aly at this place I told her I like my nails a certain way and she sd go with Aly. I got my pedi doen and Claudia was very nice and did a great job, they even let me stay at the spa while I waited for Aly to finish with my gf.
Aly was nice made her suggestions and left my nails so pretty.
I did however have my left toe nail dried up with air bubbles not sure why but u can’t tell much. next time I go I’ll ask her what causes it.

Chayo is the best! She always gives me exactly what I ask for. Her manicures always last me the longest of anyone I have been to and I put them through a lot (mom duties, constant hand washing at work, swimming, you name it!) she’s so nice and very affordable too.

I went to this salon on a recommendation of a friend. I went in to get a fill and gel polish and a design. BIG MISTAKE. I showed her the picture of the leopard print I wanted for the 4^th of July. Smh. The nails themselves are great… the gel is great… the glitter is great… but the so called «leopard» just makes me blood boil when I look at my nails. I will NEVER go to this salon again. Yes they are cheap… but they aren’t anywhere near my house and if I’m gonna make a drive for gel nails it’s gonna be somewhere else. I refuse to go back and have them «fix» it. I don’t want to step foot in that salon again. And looking at the pictures… they OBVIOUSLY KNEW HOW TO DO LEOPARD!!! Save your money and go somewhere else. I take pride in my nails and I’m embarrassed to have ANYONE see this set before it gets fixed.

So bummed that I got gel and it was crinkling all up which means the gel polished should be thrown away the girl just put it on my nails I left couple hours later it got worse, so I called to come the next day to get them fixed a day later my nail chipped, another sign the gel is obviously bad. I used to go here after I went to cosmo school at rcc deff not going back I’ll go spend a couple more bucks at another salon.

This is the third time I have been here… and out of the 3 times, once i did have good service.
It’s a small place but I usually like that about a salon… but I don’t like when no one says a word to you for upwards of 20 minutes. Then you’re told it would be 5 min until someone can see you… for a simple polish change. Then you wait an additional 25 min…
The one time I had good service, the wait wasn’t as bad and the Polish change was decent and reasonably priced. But the last 2 times… I have walked in… I’ve had to walk out because I just don’t have the time to sit and wait to even be talked to. They encourage appointments and that’s fine… but that means they compete with salons that don’t require that and are attentive as soon as you walk in.
I know I won’t go back… and I’ll remember next time I start to forget how bad their customer service is.

This review is for the Riverside location. So we (my sister in Law) & I had seen the «$ 25 Pedi & Full Set» so we decided to give it a try. First off they had really dry nail polish, they had cheap NYC wet in wild polish! l Their was a Mexican guy with blond hair and two Mexican women the owner & a employee (didn’t catch her name). Frist off the women who did my pedicure & fill gave me a OK end result but she was so rough & gave me the impression she wasn’t expirianced at all. She kept hurting my toes & my finger nails. My sister in laws toes were a nightmare that guy seriously mess up her toes! I can’t believe that was his end result & how he didn’t see it was horrible & try to fix it! He even admitted, nails aren’t his thing! I’m thinking «so why in the world are you even doing a pedicure!» He told her he would file her toe nails to her desire when she was done with her acrylics but never mentioned it afterwards. The owner proceeded to do her fill who did a good job. As we proceed to the desk to pay he tells me it’s going to be 26 because I got polish on my nails!!! Are you kidding me? I had to pay an extra dollar to get polish on my nails? Shouldn’t that already be included? Do they really assume people walk out of there with straight acrylic & no polish? Honestly, if you want a good job go with the owner or dont go at all, I don’t even think these employees are certified. They were really smooth people just unprofessional the employees at least. I paid & even gave her a tip ONLY. Because she was a nice girl & she gave me an OK end result & I still have morals.

I was seen by Rosario. She did excellently, judge the picture for yourself. She gave me the natural looking nails I asked for. She paid very close attention to detail and was very kind. Great experience.

Went to get my nails and pedi done. The ladies are super nice and super affordable. Claudia did an awesome job. I had ruined the color on all my nails when switching to pedi station, I felt terrible about it and Claudia was super sweet and told me not to worry about it and that she would repolish, even though I totally did this. Loved her personality! !
Loved her work. Totally satisfied customer. Totally coming back ;)

This place was extremely disappointing.
After reading so many five star reviews I was really expecting to walkout ecstatic about my nails. Instead, I went home and spent over an hour removing the gel color.
I will NOT be returning to this place again.

Came here for gel mani n pedi. The place is pretty clean. Customer service is amazing. Claudia did my nails n feet. She is great. I will definitely be coming back.

I wish negative 5 stars was possible. This was the worst experience. First, the lady sat down and got up about 5 times, each time she would pick up my hand like she was going to get started and then set it down and leave, so strange. Then she fumbled through every motion with her huge long nails (I’ve never had a manicure from someone with big fake nails before).
There was no hand or arm massage (another first). She barely cut my cuticles.
Another lady came over and did the white paint for her (I was getting a french gel manicure) and then the original lady took over again (another first).
The white wrinkled and was bubbly, when I asked why it looked like that, I was told, «Oh I don’t know I put the right time on the light» I guess she thought the uv light messed it up? I had never seen anything like it before. She did not offer any help. I then asked for it to be corrected.
The other lady came back and told her to start over. I should have just walked out… but I didn’t.
Original lady «fixed» them but they were all awful. The white at the tops were slanted/​not anything like a professional does. … more like my almost 2 year niece would do.
They offered to once again «fix» it after I once again said they looked horrible.
I ran out of time. it already took way too long, so they said come back to get them fixed.
They had the nerve to ask me to pay. … for WASTING 2.5 hours of my life? !
I was going to allow them to fix my nails but instead I just cancelled my next appointment and paid them anyway. … clear karma. But really… I can’t believe after all that, they actually took my money. What a joke.
I was only getting a french gel manicure and it took over 2 hours and I was embarrassed to have anyone sees my hands.

Ok so I saw their «too good to be true» deal (full set, white tips with a spa pedicure for $ 25) on face book and thought I’d give it a try… Def too good to be true! I brought my sister with me and was ready to treat both of us. We ran out after the nails. Our nails are hilariously bad!!! Bumps everywhere, gaps everywhere, crooked nails just all around a joke! After we saw our nails and seen how unsanitary it looked it there we were not about to risk getting a fungus on our feet! You really do get what you pay for. Time fore to stop looking for a deal! So not worth it. Now time to figure out how to take these «nails» off! The only good note about this place is it have my sister and I a GREAT laugh. Sure will be a good story in the future.

The worst I have ever experienced. The guy with the pink hair sucks, doesn’t even get the hi lights all the way to the roots or make them even (see pics). And I figured i’d give them a shot at a pedicure and that was a bad mistake too. The lady sucked and took forever to just do a French tip!!! Do NOT go here…$ 60 are you kidding me?! Wait until you see these pics…

I went in here to get a full set, which took almost an hour and a half. (WHY) My nail girl was changed three times and my paint ended up not being as good as I thought it would’ve been if girl number one had finished my nails. That too me was frustrating.
My main concern is their false eyelashes. My nail lady Number one had just gotten fake lashes put on and talked me into getting them (25 bucks why not) I bugged her with questions for about 30 minutes about quality of lashes how long they last and how damaging they are and if chemicals were used. She gave me no negative responses so I went on with it. Well whatever «mascara» (they say it’s a mascara but it’s a glue that hardens the eyelashes) they use at the end of the applications has formaldehyde in it. It burned my nostrils and my eyes were red, inflamed, and on fire for about six hours. I had asked the lady if there were any chemicals used and she denied ! I was so pissed.
Well the lashes started falling out after two weeks so I decided to call them. I told the lady what had happened last time and asked if they could apply the lashes but without using that glue, or if they has a formaldehyde free glue. She immediately handed me off to another girl who ENSURED me that «oh it’s fine it’s not bad, sometimes you just have to deal with the pain to be pretty».
Excuse me? any salon who denies the use of a product containing formaldehyde should be written up. It needs to be posted and those girls need to be aware of the consequences of using it! I’m extremely disappointed in this salon and won’t be coming back.
