Joel Perez

Our company has used Joel for commercial work for the past year or so. We have been happy with his work. However, this past couple of weeks, we have called Joel 2 – 3 times, left numerous messages and he never returned our calls. We vet our contractors and like to use the same people all the time and it’s a pain when they simply don’t respond, now we are searching for a new electrician in the Riverside area.

Joel came by the other day with his crew to install several recessed lighting fixtures and outdoor lighting. Joel was knowledgeable; he took the time to explain the steps he would take to get the job done. He was up-​front about costs and there were no hidden costs. The crew was also efficient and clean.
Overall, Joel is a great guy with a great crew. I would do business with him again.

Had a whole house fan installed, works great. Outstanding work, in just a few hours. Very helpful, took photos in the attic, demonstrated unit by an open window. Kept dust down to a minimum and cleaned up well afterwards. Sent me photos and estimate and invoice electronically, superbly efficient. Thank you Joel

No need to look anywhere else. Joel and his crew were professional, reliable, and did a great job with my ceiling fan and RING doorbell! I’m so thankful for all those Unilocal reviews bc that’s how I found him. Will be calling him back for extensive lighting work around the house. I am one of those paranoid ppl who read many, many, many reviews, ask friends and family about their experiences with ppl they have chosen and then comb through Unilocal carefully looking for the best and I believe I got one of the best.

Joel and his crew installed 3 ceiling fans for me today. They did an amazing job and were extremely professional. They will be coming on Tuesday to install the 4^th ceiling fan. Joel wired up a whole house fan for me. He was in and out in just over an hour. I had a few other projects that I wanted to get a quote on while Joel was there. Joel sent me his excel spread sheet with pricing for work he does. I’ve saved his number and he’ll be my go-​to electrician when I have any issues. Thank you Joel!

Joel handled 2 projects for me; the first involved reinstalling 3 chandeliers (removing blocking around the base installed by the previous homeowner) and replacing a 4^th chandelier in our stairwell approx. 25′ high. This was completed all in one day and the work was performed expertly, safely and neatly. The second project involved replacing our recessed fluorescent light bay (10’x4’) with recessed can lights and LED trim. He also installed a light fixture above ours kitchen sink on a separate switch. Joel and his helper, Chad, did a great job protecting the area with plastic and cleaning up when done. This portion of the project was completed in one day total (partial prep at the same time as the chandeliers and completion the next morning). Communication was excellent throughout. Pricing was great as well. Joel did exactly what he said he was going to do in the exact timeframe he quoted. I really can’t ask for more! He also connected me with a great general contractor that installed the drywall and sprayed texture on the kitchen ceiling. I highly recommend Joel; I plan to use him again for future work. I would give 10 stars if I could!!!

Joel and chad came to my house last Thursday to fix those problematic recess lights around the house and modified two recess lights into the pendent lights above the island, and remove the existing hood vent in my kitchen because we’re doing the kitchen remodel right now. They were extremely easy to work with, friendly, professional and right on time. I’ll definitely ask them back for more work later.

Joel came to my house today to install a whole house fan. He was super friendly, very professional and as efficient as possible. I highly recommend him for any services you need!

Joel texted right back when I called letting me know he could come right over to help with our electrical problem. He quoted a price on the phone and that was what I paid. He was thorough and safe in checking out the problem and discovered that the power company would need to come restore one of the phases at the main. I would definitely call him again. My plumber even took his number since they were both here at the same time.

Joel came out very quickly. He inspected my entire house within an hour and charged a reasonable rate. First class service. I highly recommend.

Joel is a thorough professional. He always shows up on time and very committed to his work. He is a very good general electritian which is obvious from the reviews. Additionally, he did our 7.1 music system wiring and let me tell you it was not an easy job. He did an excellent job and I can’t thank him enough. He is reasonably priced as well. I recommended him to all my friends and everyone is very happy with his work.

Very impressed by Joel Perez! I’m a real estate agent and he was very quick to respond for my client. Had a major issue with the electrical; lights were flickering, fuses were blown out, ceiling fans fried, among other things. He came the very next day and fixed the whole thing and walked my client through it. Highly recommend him to any client!

Great service! We needed a new GFI. Nick called and came the next day to fix the problem. I wasn’t present at the time of repair but my husband was very pleased. Nick walked him through the repair and showed him what went wrong. Definitely saving their number for future work and repairs.

I have a new dining room chandelier that needed to be installed from a 15 ft vaulted ceiling and I called Nick. He called me back with his availability as promised and did the work flawlessly. He even went above and beyond to patch a small hole at the base plate that was there from the previous installation. I would recommend Nick for his reasonable price, professional and courteous service. Now my dining room looks amazing with the new lamp.

Nick was awesome! I called about getting power outlets added for my wall-​mounted TV’s. Nick came over and made it happen that same day. He did very nice work!

Update: We used him again… just as good the second time. He goes above and beyond. Glad to have found a reliable and honest electrician.

I called for emergency electrical work; had to call the fire dept for a fire in an electric outlet — they suggested [strongly] that I get an electrician out right away. They wouldn’t come out for an estimate w/​o charging $ 45. Not calling THEM again!

This electrician is the best! Joel was able to send Tom and Chad same day (within a few hours of calling!) and the price was very reasonable. Tom and Chad showed up when Joel said they would, were very polite and were very considerate of my house.
I originally bought a whole new ceiling fan expecting that mine would not be salvageable — but they were able to fix what I have and it works better than it has in years. I highly recommend Joel Perez Electricians. Thank you!
