L&M Bakery has been an institution and a mainstay in this area for a long time. Over the years, I’ve had my share of donuts, cupcakes, danishes, and cakes — and they’ve all been fantastic. Positives — The donuts are next level. Specifically, the cream donuts, sugar, and glazed are the best in the area. L&M’s cream and butter cream fillings and icings are delicious and tremendous. Go ahead — eat a cream donut and tell me it won’t change your life. Negatives — If you’re on a diet, do yourself a favor and stay home. Although everything is pretty much delish, L&M’s baked goods are sweet and they do not skimp on the sugar in any which way.

Was always a favorite since childhood. Delicious baked goodies that include but not limited to doughnuts, Danish, pastries, pies, cakes, cupcakes, and cookies. You can order custom cakes for weddings, birthdays, and many other celebrations that arise. If needed they will deliver but walk in customers are the common trend. Small parking area out front, but there’s also side street as well a parking area in the rear.

Amazing. Their powdered donuts with vanilla cream are the best I’ve ever had. Hands down. My son likes the chocolate frosted ones.

I got a one year old bday cake was so unimpressed. Colors were wrong and it was a sheet cake in a pan. I was so embarrassed at the party because it looked worse than a shop rite cake. And considering the cost… Wish I just went to shop rite. When I did pick up I told the girl it wasn’t what I thought and was disappointed. She didn’t seem to care. She told me since it was in the tin like that there was nothing that could be done so it was off to the party with my trailer park cake. However, great snow flake rolls

Grew up with their butter cakes every Christmas. Have yet to ever find another bakery that makes them or even knows what they are. I look forward to the holidays just knowing this will be served! To die for for a sweet tooth!

This review is based on my interaction with the bakery staff. Not on their cakes or baked goods at all. A co-worker friend of mine brought a cake in from L&M. It was amazing. Knowing I wanted to get a custom cake soon in the future, I emailed L&M a photo of the design I was hoping to get. It was a rectangular shape, so I didn’t anticipate it to be a huge issue. I just needed to know if they could make the design and how much it would cost. The bakery responded to my email with«Please call us» So I did. The people I needed to speak with weren’t there, and they asked me to call back another day. I did. Same thing. When I called they asked me to email the image to a different email address. I did. They needed me to call back again. I did… SAMETHING. I called this morning around 9am and they said to call back after 1pm. When I did the woman told me their decorator leaves early… I finally said«Why can’t YOU call me back when you’ve had a chance to review the design with your cake decorator?» The woman’s response was something to the effect of «We are very busy and we just won’t remember to do this when the decorator arrives in the morning.» My response to her was, «You are aware that I’ve called several times now, and I too am very busy, and I am a customer trying to give you business. I’m not sure what the issue is here or what type of business you’re trying to run, but this is insanity. I will be going someplace else.» And that was that. Yes, their cakes are very good, but holy shit, trying to deal with these people is a whole different matter.

Went there after reading a ton of great reviews for my babies first birthday cake. When I picked it up I told her I was disappointed and it was not what I had in mind for what I thought I ordered. It was a thin cake and set in a metal tray. I did not know I was ordering a cake I could make myself or pick up last minute at shop rite. What a disappointment. And for the price, completely horrible. I can tell you I won’t be going back anytime soon. Oh and not to mention they didn’t do the colors /design the way I wanted. It was all one color and just looked really cheesy

I grew up on L&M. Nobody can compete with their buttercream icing! Butter cake is amazing. They have done all our family’s birthday cakes. We always request Deric, who is an AMAZING cake decorator.

What’s not to love about L&M?! Their baked goods are second to none. They’ve come through for me every time(and several times at the last minute) on countless occasions over the years — full sheet cakes for events at work, a custom double-layer sheet cake for church, a three-tiered cake for my parents’ wedding anniversay party, decades of birthday cakes and plenty of other cakes for special events — always with the buttercream icing. Their danish have been a huge hit everywhere I’ve ever taken them, and their cream donuts are bordering on obscene — they’re that good. Their butter cake is the real deal, too. But the thing that people talk about all year is the butter cookies. I buy a mountain of 1 lb. tins for Christmas gifts because although I love to bake, I’ve never made a better butter cookie than these. I’ve taken countless trays of them far and wide — they always amaze and delight.

Best bakery, sugar-encrusted hands down. Just had several weeks ago after a decade-long hiatus, and they still are the best. Made fresh, with just the right amount of frosting on cupcakes, the right amount of powdered sugar, and the right amount of sweetness in general. Blows away«J & B» in Burlington, which strangely gets many accolades… I have had their stuff, and it is standard. Go to «The L» if you want your dreams fulfilled.

Nothing can compare to L&M donuts, they’re phenomenal. The donuts I got yesterday were the freshest I’ve ever tasted. I got my donuts early in the morning, and when I had one later in the evening they didn’t taste even a bit stale. I live about 45 mins. away and this place is definitely worth the drive.

I’ve been craving L&M donuts lately, so that is what prompted me to write a review. Ya know how store bought donuts get stale by the end of the day, and the next day the glaze starts to liquify? Well L&M donuts do NOT do that. lol I know what you are thinking… how is it possible that you have LEFTOVER donuts? lol well it’s possible, especially when you go in and everything looks so good that you wind up with 2 dozen donuts. My favorite(so far) is the cinnamon roll. It is so rich, and so decadent that its almost impossible to eat the whole thing. But you do anyhow… lol And it goes PERFECTLY with a cup of WaWa pumpkin spice coffee. Just sayin… We’re still fairly new to the neighborhood, so I still have lots to try. I’m going to have to start ordering from here for birthday’s and holidays. My uncle happens to be a Master European Baker, so I really appreciate beautiful pastries. :)

Best donuts I’ve ever had anywhere but the service here is very rude. If you ask them what anything on display is they look at you like you just asked them to come over to your house and clean your toilets. By the way this place is on river road in delran not in riverside

We ordered their carrot cake for my Mother’s special birthday luncheon. The cake was beautiful, super moist and delicious! It was a huge hit. Everyone, especially the birthday girl loved it.

This 1 star rating is for a very specific experience, not for the establishment as a whole. I love their cannoli, but I recently bought my husband a birthday cake from here. The cakes here are always wonderful. They have the BEST buttercream icing around. The problem was the writing on the cake. When they opened the box to show me the cake, I looked at them and said, «Jim?» My husband’s name is Tim. The T in my husband’s name looked like a J because the T had a big swirl on the end. When I complained, 2 different clerks responded with the same answer to my concerns: «That is how the decorator makes his T’s. And he is gone for the day and we would have to scrape everything off to fix it. The white icing won’t look the same and the blue writing will be different.» I was so frustrated at not receiving a decent response to my concern, and actually having my concerns not even recognized, that I left with the cake after filling out the box on the form to indicate that I was NOT happy with the cake. I went straight to my sister’s house, showed her the cake without saying anything about my worry. She looked at the cake, then looked at me and said, «Jim?» Convinced now that I was not being overly critical, I went back to the bakery, told them for the 6th time that my husband and the guests at his birthday party will assume that the name on the cake is wrong because they do not know, nor should they need to know, that the decorator makes his T’s with a big tail that makes them look like J’s. I told them how to make 2 small corrections. Then, I took home TIM’s cake.(Not Jim’s cake). It was delicious. My husband was happy. But, as long as your name doesn’t start with a T, you shouldn’t have any problem. As I said, their cannoli rock!

There strawberry & banana filled cake with whipped cream frosting is to DIE for! I had a piece for breakfast and i’m not mad about it at all. Now if they can start making light and fluffy style cheesecake I’d buy one every week.

So on rainy Sunday, after getting my tire replaced, thought I’d visit my favorite. I ordered Elephant ears, donuts & still mad people in there with it raining .** What does that tell you? They are ridiculously amazing! Love them!! I was waiting my turn, happen to see this rewards card, So when I was awaiting for my baked goods, I asked, One of the girls behind the counter realized guess I’m a regular, & said ‚” How come you Don’t have one!!!” So as you earn points, you can get $ 10.00 credit towards your baked yummies! Score!!! Not that I need another reason to love L & M Bakery!

The BEST cakes! I needed a cake for my parents’ anniversary & a coworker recommended this bakery, and OMG the cake was phenomenal! My whole family loved it, and now I bring cakes from here whenever we have a special family dinner or celebration. Best of all, they have online ordering, so it’s fast & easy to order a cake for pickup, even if you need it the next day.

If there is anything I remember about birthday parties my mom had for us when we were kids, it is the cakes she got us from L&M. Holy moly. Nothing better than the strawberry/banana filled cake with the most sensational frosting. Even though I live quite a distance from this bakery, we find it worth the drive for their cakes on special occasions. Everything is so fresh and delicious. We always grab something«for the road» like doughnuts or cookies or cupcakes. So delish. Definitely a must try if you’ve never been.

I don’t need to tell you how good the doughnuts are. Just look at all the reviews! But seriously, they really are amazing. And massive. Get one crème filled doughnut and you’re good until dinner time. My favorite thing here, though, is the cakes. They are beautiful and really delicious. I really didn’t appreciate how good a cake from a good bakery could be until L & M. The icing isn’t jarringly sweet or over-the-top, and they don’t just top every order with the standard bunch of flowers in one corner. They have different designs that aren’t over the top but are still really nice. I really just love it here. There are never enough excuses for me to go by and get a doughnut, but I’m always trying to find a new one!
