My new go to taco Tuesday place!!! I literally go here every Tuesday for the $ 1 tacos and I still havent gotten tired of it ahaha(but what if they’re tired of me?) I recommend the al pastor and chile verde! they provide a lot more meats than other taco places so that is pretty cool. And on Wednesdays they have burrito Wednesday’s! Where burritos are 3.99

The taco Tuesday’s here are pretty beast. It’s a good price and they are fast at making the food. Don’t let the looks of the store deceive you, they are nice people and produce good food.

Ordered 10 pounds of carne asada and 5 pounds of chicken. The carne asada was over salted. The chicken was salty and just bad. I mean I was given green meat. So disappointed. Is there less then one star?

This is my go to place for inexpensive and mouthwatering Mexican food. Being raised in Los Angeles County, Mexican food has always been a staple for me. When I started school at UCR, I knew I had to find good Mexican food, and Unilocal lead me to Mercado Don Juan to conclude all the searching. Although they sell candy, household goods, produce, and much more, I mainly come for the irresistable Mexican food. They have a large selection of food on the menu which include American styled breakfasts, burgers, burritos, and tacos. They have daily deals on 4 days out of the week, starting with Tuesday with $ 1 taco Tuesdays, burrito Wednesdays, hard shell taco Thursdays, and $ 1 taco Fridays. The tacos taste homemade, and it becomes better knowing it’s only $ 1. What I like most is that they offer 11 types of meat to choose from. The typical asada and pastor meats are offered, but have you tried Campechanos, Buche, or even cueritos on a taco? — They also sell meat by the pound, and have baked goods freshly made every morning. — Location is close to UCR and is a great place to eat at for students on budget looking for dank Mexican food

Ok if your white it looks a little sketchy. But it’s good don’t judge it by the looks. You much get the guacamole that they make and the green salsa. Price is ok and the place is some what clean(not like a chain super market). I like the marinated steak and chicken it’s a must have. I’m a white guy and all my white friends always ask me where I got the meat I tell them Mercado Don Juan #3

My go-to place for Taco Tuesdays! Well, more than just Tuesdays. They also have… Burrito Wednesdays Hard-shell Taco Thursdays Taco Weekends Pretty much just the place to go for cheap, authentic tacos in the area. Their meat is well-seasoned and decently cooked. I did have a few experiences where their meat is a little dry, but it was still delicious nonetheless. I like that they also sell tripa, lengua, and buche here(though they do cost slightly more), whereas a lot of places just carry the typical asada, al pastor, etc. Their tacos come with decent sized tortillas, unlike the tiny tacos at El Fogon, They also sell burritos, but I’m not as big of a fan of the burritos here as I am of the tacos. Sometimes the guys at the meat counter will not be as good at English, but that’s how you know the stuff here’s for real. It does help to pick up some Spanish, and the people working there are usually pretty friendly. Sometimes one of the workers at the counter will be fluent and will take your order in English, but for the most part, the language barrier isn’t that big of an issue here. Basically, this place is the place you want to go to on Taco Tuesdays and the weekend or generally whenever you crave tacos.

They were pretty awesome back when it was La Playita. I think under the new management it may be even better. Great burritos, seafood tostada, buche tacos, best menudo around. Let all the frat boys from Palos Verdes eat at El Fogon. This place is way better at about half the price.

Mouth-watering legit, hole-in-the-wall amazing carne asada and tacos. Need I say more? Get your groceries, your pan, your dinner and call it a day.

The food here is bomb. There are some great deals on the weekends like dollar tacos on Saturday and Friday. First time I was here I ordered 3 Al Pastor tacos and they were one of the bombest tacos I’ve ever had. Fresh. Satisfying. Authentic. Would definitely come back.

I have been to their location in Muscoy and Rialto – and this store is even larger than the others! I am very happy to see this chain doing so well, and I drive all the way from Los Angeles to purchase the best Chorizo you can get in my opinion. They also have a small in-house kitchen where you can order a large assortment of quality food. They also have a bakery at this location where the breads are made fresh daily.
