Contacted Mr. Morrissey about refinishing a dining room table and chairs that had belonged to my sister for over 30 years. I wasn’t hoping for much as the wood was severely scratched and the color was uneven.
He and his son arrived on time, were courteous, knowledgable and friendly. I didn’t know much about the set but Mr. Morrissey did and educated me on Heritage Tables.
The quote was fair so I decided it was worth paying for the refinishing as opposed to buying a new set and I’m glad I did! The job they did was outstanding! I never knew the wood was so beautiful and now scratch free.
Morrissey’s Furniture might be small but their workmanship was first class. They have a customer for life.

My husband had a custom project that needed some woodwork. The guys at Morrisey’s were very helpful and offered great advice. And the final product was better than he expected.

I do a lot of business in the Inland Empire and surrounding areas.
For personal use, while in the area, I picked up some very scratched and scuffed Vintage furniture from the cities of San Bernardino and Eastvale. I own a bed (it has been in the family for 45 years or so). The bed was restored by another Vendor months ago. I wanted the newly purchased pieces refinished to match the bed.
The Vendor who restored the Bed did an descent job, I planned on taking my newly purchased pieces to him, but he quoted me an insane price! I had no choice but to find another refinishing source.
Thanks to Unilocal and other reviews, I found Morrissey’s Custom Furniture and repair. Once I upload my before and after pictures I will add them, but meanwhile, I must give this shop the review they deserve.
For the record, when I first called this shop, they were out. They had an outgoing telephone message stating their return day and time. I left a voice message for them. When they returned to the shop, they returned my call (rare these days). I sent them some images and dimensions of the two pieces I wanted restored and requested a rough estimate. They gave me a rough estimate and said they’d confirm the quote once they viewed the pieces in person. I guess the pictures I sent them were pretty good as they were able to hold the quoted price. YAY!
In order to give them the Stain Color I desired, I picked up a stain color chart from Home Depot (they are free), compared it to the bed, then marked the stain color that best matched. I took that sample with me when I took the two pieces. The shop was able to match my stain color /​furniture to a chip they had on hand from their stain color board. What I got back is lovely. My pieces look new!

Took 2 end table tops and 1 large round coffee table top to this shop as they were highly recommended by a friend. Totally worth the price. So so beautiful to look at now. I forgot to take a before picture. Glad I used this shop and I will again. Thanks so much for the new look for my family room.

It came time for me to move out for college and instead of running out to Ikea and buying a cheap desk that’ll be ready to collapse after my first year (with my building skills I’ll be lucky if it lasts 6 months!) I decided to have an older desk refinished. Let’s be honest, they don’t make furniture like they used to!
This old desk was in dire need of some TLC, scratches all over, dents, water marks, mismatch wood color, I wish I had a before picture to show the transformation. The Morrisseys really did a great job! My desk and chair looks brand new with the new cherry stain. IM IN LOVE!
I feel good knowing that I have a solid piece of furniture that looks great and will last well beyond my college years. I highly recommend Morrissey’s Custom Furniture. It’s a great family owned place that’s been around for almost 40 years! The owners are great, the service is great and the quality of work is amazing!
