As the owner of Pop-​A-​Lock of Riverside I have been a member of the Inland Empire community for over 30 years. I proudly served in the US Marine Corps guarding the security of our country for more than 20 years and now I am proud to say I take your security needs just as seriously as my commitment to our country. Pop-​A-​Lock of Riverside is a licensed Locksmith company (LCO4091) in good standing with the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS). We are also members of the Associated Locksmiths of America (member number 66 578). We are members of both the Riverside and Corona chambers of commerce. We encourage our customers to check our credentials. As with many locksmiths we are primarily a mobile service serving a wide area. If I could give them zero stars I would! My insurance company contacted this company to unlock my vehicle and told me they would be there in about 30 minutes. They never showed up & never called. I called the insurance company after an hour. They were having computer problems so it took quite a while for my insurance company to get a hold of the company to schedule a new lock out service and because the computers were down they didn’t know they were calling the same company. I waited about 10 minutes and called the company and they were able to get a hold of the person doing the call and they said they were at the vehicle and couldn’t unlock the vehicle. I let the dispatcher know that NO they were not at the vehicle and they had never been to the vehicle. They may have very good people working for them but obviously this person didn’t want to do their job this evening but still wanted to get paid! I called and complained to my insurance companies supervisor and they will be contacting this company tomorrow (hopefully anyway!) We ended up waiting a total of 4 hours for a simple lockout all because this person didn’t want to do their job (and still get paid)! I will be following up with this company tomorrow and also my insurance company to make sure that doesn’t happen!!!

Have been using this company to make keys for the properties I manage and have had good service with Art. Seems like they have new employees all the time and sometimes they do not know how to treat customers and be genuine. Hopefully I just caught everybody on just an off day, but I will be looking for a new key vendor that does appreciate my business and time.

Came to my house within two hours and got me two copies (alarm keys not just cheap keys) and back into my car for way less than Honda was charging me didn’t have to deal with a tow truck or anything. Great customer service don’t hesitate to call them! You won’t regret it!

I had a dead bolt that the key was just spinning in the lock. Add to that the screw holding the lock in the door was a specialty screw. So I called Pop a Lock. Art told me how to lock the door over night, and I made an appointment for the next day at a time convenient to me. Thirty minutes before the appointment Mark called to confirm, and then showed up right on time. He replaced the dead bolt and the door knob which also would not lock, expediently. He was polite and professional. I highly recommend this business.

I hit something on the freeway and popped my tire. I was really shaken up and anxious thinking I was stranded 400 miles from home. Daniel O. arrived within 30 minutes and his friendly demeanor was very calming. He explained everything he was doing and remained upbeat and positive while quickly changing my tire and getting me safely back on the road. I am so grateful for the quick and friendly service I received.

I just wanted to update my review with the the service I received once William arrived. He was able to get my keys out of my car for me within about five minutes and he was very nice and understood my frustration. I hope I don’t find myself in the situation again but if I do I would be willing to give them another try.

Wonderful service! Recently had a flat while out running errands, and they came to my rescue. My repair man Daniel was to my location within 6 minutes, and completed the service in 15 minutes. He was friendly and knowledgeable and made the experience very easy! I had my 10 day old in the car and was a bit panicked about being stranded. All worries went away thanks to Pop-​A-​Lock, and specially to Daniel! Highly recommend!

I went in with my own blank keys I bought off the Internet last Friday. They cut all the keys I needed and for a good price, $ 2 for some $ 5 for others. Came in today with the same key blanks and was told to wait. While there had techs obviously walking around with nothing to do. Then after about 10 – 15 mins, the old guy behind the counter said, «I don’t like to JUST cut keys, because I make more money from selling keys. If you want to pay full price about $ 65 a key then I’ll cut them.» As in, he wants to charge me for buying a key, but not sell me one, just cut the key I already bought. I got the keys from Amazon for $ 5 a key, $ 65 is ridiculous. One week a go one of their techs cut the exact same key for $ 5 a key. The old guy is a swindler! Stay away! There are plenty of other lock smiths in the area who will treat you better than these scam artists!

I called around 10:30pm and they got here at 11. Took less than 5 minutes to unlock my car and cost me less than $ 50 which is $ 70 less than what the other locksmith was trying to charge me! Great job guys!

I called this place at 11:30 pm and they actually answered the phone. The lady on the phone was very patient and reassuring that this will be taken care of first thing in the morning. Sure enough, my locked up door got opened within 3 minutes! These guys are lightning fast and their prices are very reasonable. I will definitely keep them in mind for any other related key/​door issues! Thank you for literally popping my lock when I was in need. =)

After my review I was contacted immediately to apologize for an error on their part. A very sincere apology, in my opinion. I am still rather bummed out about not getting my issue resolved (I am busy and constantly on the go) but if I don’t get my lock fixed this weekend I will give these guys another try.

You could not ask for a better company (and a great team of knowledgeable technicians) in a sticky situation. Pop-​A-​Lock was dispatched to me through my car insurance’s roadside assistance; once for a dead battery, and the other for a flat tire.
For each incident, I received a courteous phone call within minutes of placing my initial call to my car insurance’s road side assistance informing me that my technician would be arriving shortly. Lo and behold, the technician arrived faster than was stated, and made quick work of fixing my problems. Each technician answered all of my questions and gave me helpful advice, and was honest and upfront about the limitations I maybe faced with with my temporarily fixed car parts.

I have used pop a lock on three occasions. 2 for issues with my car, 1 for locking myself out. My cars roadside assistance has sent pop a lock to jump a dead battery, and to change a flat tire. Both times they were there within ten minutes. When S came to pick my lock because I locked murk found he was fast abs courteous too. Recommend!!!

Called to inquire about getting a chipped key made for my car and was told they have to check and I’ll get a call back soon. I waited an hour and a half before I called back and was told they are still checking. That was two days ago.
