History

Established in 2003.

In about 2001 I took my first quilting class and loved it. The textiles available in such glorious colors caught my eye. Once I finished I needed to have my quilt, quilted. A friend had a long arm and let me quilt it. I fell in love with that process as well. I worked a full time job and had 3 young children to support. I needed a second job to help support them. I purchased a long arm and quilted customer quilts at night and on the weekends. In 2002 I found out my full time job was being moved overseas. That is when I started researching opening a quilt shop. About 6 months later I hit the floor running opening my shop. My children were 3, 5 and 11. They are all adults now and laugh how mom had a crockpot, refrigerator and electric skillet in the back for meals. It’s been a great journey and still is.
