Was open for an hour more but turned away. Tried to call before that with no answer. Stood and lucky to even get acknowledged.

I got my nails done by Linda, it was a great experience and she did an awesome job! I will be going back

I do not recommend this place at all. When I got there I specifically said to the lady at the front that I needed a gel fill and gel polish, she said «no problem» and took me to my chair. Then another lady came to help me and she started to take my old gel off and shape my nails, then she started to get out her acrylic stuff, and I stopped her and said «that’s acrylic, and I asked at the front for gel» she said «we don’t do gel here»
So, she did all of that and then she said «well, you already have acrylic on your nails» I said I didn’t, and she said «I’ve been doing this for many years. That’s acrylic» and I’m not saying I know more than her, but I told her «the last place I went to was specifically a gel salon, they don’t even do acrylic there»
She ended up just putting acrylic and gel polish, but they cut my finger and it wouldn’t stop bleeding. (I’m a bleeder)
But they looked so bad I had to go back the next day to fix them and they tried charging me for it. They said it’d be free over the phone. And the color change would be $ 15. But she tried charging me $ 18. When I went back again the other lady that helped me was super aggressive on my nails and made them bleed twice. Pushed my cuticles really hard. My finger still really hurts and I got them fixed about 5 hours ago. I hate this place. I will not be coming here again.

Danny has quick, beautiful work and keeps you up to date on your nail game Ladies book your appointments, because he does amazing work with your nails !!! Don’t forget to get your toes done as well they do a nice job but Danny is An Amazing Nail Tech

The employees aren’t friendly, the lady who cut down my nails left them sharp and very square just because that’s all I wanted done at the time. She keeps asking me to get a fill and new gel color but I advised her I was on a time limit and just needed my nails cut down. I felt like she didn’t care for me as a customer and did her job fast; the total charge was $ 5. Also the lady in the front who charges told me if I come back she’ll have to charge me agin for a cut down. (Rude)

Danny is absolutely amazing his skill with gel builder is beautiful make an appointment with him he will not disappoint!

Danny never fails to please me. He did a new style on me today and I love it! It’s called blended coffin nails.

Wouldn’t trade this place ! No one gets my nails right like Brian ! yes this place it super busy they’re good ! So expect a small wait but perfect nails been coming here for over 10 years

I arrived at 8pm, 1 hour before they closed and they didn’t take me. They said they had NOBODY there to do acrylic nails. They need to staff better.
So I went upstairs to the other nail shop and they did my fill on my nails.

Cost extra and that it wasn’t their fault she picked that color. So impolite. I am a manager else where — and this guest experience was not of

Danny! Danny! Danny!
I’ve been coming to Red Persimmon Salon for like the past 3 – 4 years. My main and only person I go to get my nails done is Danny!!! He’s AMAZING! Never have I had any issues… Only compliments from his wonderful work! This last time I went with him he tried something new on my nails and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED my nails! I get compliments on my nails left and right! Literally! If you want a professional, clean, quick service go to Danny!

Decent prices but I am came in for a simple spa pedicure and ended up being charged for an additional service I didn’t want

I’ve been going here for years. It’s an ok nail salon, but here’s a fun fact. I called for Dew today, and I was told she hasn’t worked there for a year now. Well, who was the Dew who’s been doing my nails and who was the Dew I saw 3 weeks ago when I was there? Either I’ve been calling her a different name all this time or someone is just plainly lying today. Dew is very popular with customers and for the hostess to lie she’s been gone for a year is just unforgivable to me. Dew is the only reason why I kept coming back to this salon, so if she doesn’t work there anymore, good bye!

This is the only spot I go to. I’ve been to the eastvale location as well. Some of the technicians here are hands down, AMAZING. This was my first bad experience. I came in at around 7pm yesterday and the older woman who did my pedicure must have been having an off day because this was the most painful experience I’ve ever had. She painted my toes fine enough but got very sloppy with the clear gel top coat and my toes do NOT look like I spent $ 33 plus tip at all. If it left s me post the pic, you can be the judge. I have sticky smudges all over from sloppy top coat and i have a very painful cut that she recut a few times. I don’t want to name drop, because I did feel bad for her, I thought maybe she had a long day or whatever. But I’m a very pleasant client, and I always tip well. It ALMOST made me feel it was personal.

I was in the area and decided to go to the mall and I had been wanting to get my nails done (full set) and I saw how busy Red Persimmon Nail salon was so I imagined they did a good job. Plus I talked to a customer there and she said that I would be satisfied and I would return. Well my nails looked okay after but I was dissapointed because the guy did not remove my cuticles correctly and plus he did my nails in just 20 Minutes! And now a week later the acrylic is starting to peel off on its own! Never going there again!

I was kinda nervous to go in because of some of the reviews, but I’m so glad I did! My mom got a pedicure by Holly and absolutely loved it. I got a fill from Brian… Best nails I’ve had pretty much ever. Not only were both of our nails flawless, but we both had so much fun with the conversations we had with both of them. I would definitely suggest this salon if you’re in the riverside area.

I just moved back to the area after 3 years and am glad to be able to go to Red Persimmon again. No other place compares. Danny always does a beautiful job with my pink and white acrylics and he’s so fast too! Holly and Linda are the best for pedicures. Get the gel on your toes and your pedicure will last twice as long. They are very friendly and professional here as well and reasonably priced.

I have Gel manicure on my nails. I Love the colors and style that Lora suggests for me. It’s a painting style called ombré. Lora does the color on the tip and also uses glitter. I get so many compliments! It can get very busy here so if you can make an appointment it helps.
I’ve been going to Red Persimmon for quite a few years. I’m spoiled by Lora, can’t go any where else!

I have been looking for someone to do pink and white nails that I like since I moved a few years ago. After a recommendation from a friend I made an appointment with Danny for a full set. He was ready for me right when I walked in, very nice and personable. Also, he has a very light hand and didn’t over drill or over file my nails. He asked me my preferences on my nails when I sat down (long, short, shape etc) and he nailed it. I don’t remember the last time I’ve been so happy with my nails! Thanks Danny!

Do not come here
I spent 50 dollars on nails that are just starting to fall off 4 days later.
I got gel also and you can tell they are in a rush throw your nails on and try to get you out and fast as possible.
Worst place ever.

First off let me start off this review by saying I have been to this nail salon before and had great service, but this last visit, which happened Saturday 2÷20÷2016 was the deal breaker for me. I made an appointment for myself, full set with gel color and regular spa pedicure, and a color change for my daughter. My elderly mother decided to come along with us, and the salon accommodated this just fine, as she did not have an appointment.
First off, let’s get to my full set with gel color. After 4 days, they SHOULD NOT be lifting, nor should it look like I need a fill. They are already lifting and they look like crap, it really looks like I got my nails done maybe 3 to 4 weeks ago, not 4 days ago, and this is very frustrating. Now on to my pedicure, how hard is it to get nail polish on every single toe nail? 3 of my toes are done half assed, where half the nail is missing polish.
Now on to the real kicker… My Mom who is elderly, paid for her own nails, mind you she got the SAME exact nails I did, Full set with gel color and regular spa pedicure. How is it that she got charged the same amount that they charged me for my nails plus my daughter’s polish change!!! Almost seems as if they took advantage of her because she was older… I will not be coming back here, and now I have to go get my nails fixed this weekend at a different salon. If you want nice nails that STAY nice looking for awhile, go somewhere else, all this place cares about is getting you in and out.

MOST DISGUSTING PLACE EVER.

Seriously I can’t believe I’ve let this woman work on me, it was atrocious the tools they used on Me. Do yourself a favor & stay away from this place, and be safe.
1. Tools came from a random drawer, no idea to tell if they’ve been sterile or not.
2. Nails file was used beyond capacity, idk how they got anything filed down.
3. She pulls some random drill from behind another girl, and used it on the heels of my feet, no surprise she didn’t change the tip.
I can’t go on because I’m so disappointed in myself for letting her finish!
They she kicks me out of my chair & said «you done now. You can go» & kicked me out of chair (which was broken) to do her co workers nails.

I’m so upset with how my nails look. and I rarely feel this way after leaving here. I paid $ 28 for a French gel manicure and my nails look like crap. I’m so upset.

I always look at three things when getting a pedicure.
–How long they take
–The paint job
–When they do my callus removal (use a lot of sandals)
My first time here and I had Tanya.
Aside from meeting all of that she went beyond!
I absolutely loved her. She doesn’t speak fluent English
But she sure did try holding a conversation! I had my 5 year old and she was really nice to her too! She also waxed my eyebrows which came out beautiful!!! I see a lot of bad reviews about pedicures but those people have ugly feet anyways. Lol I’ll definitely be back. They’re a little more expensive than what I usually pay but paying for quality is okay in my book.

I have submitted a formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau regarding this company.

AWFUL AWFUL EXPERIENCE! Go ANYWHERE else !!!
I got a full set of acrylic nails with GEL polish on Saturday ²⁄₆. By Monday 2÷8− 5 nails were chipped. 2 chipped in my SLEEP. I have no idea when the others happened because I never hit or damaged my nails. Now 2/​10, the acrylic has snapped or chipped randomly and 6 nails are damaged.
I should have known when I left. As I looked at my nails in the sunlight it was obvious Tom did not paint the tips more than 1 coat and you could see through the paint.
I thought my GEL PEDICURE was fine until 30 minutes ago when a flap was evident on my right big toe.
I called and spoke to Kim who said «we will do something about your nails and more than likely it’ll be free» IT SHOULD 100% be free! I’ve already spent 27+33 and then a tip– for 2 day nails.
Skip this place, they’re a turn & burn joke.

Absolutely love my nails Michael always does An amazing job I’m always so pleased when I leave this place. They are quick but I am a mother of 2 boys. I appreciate the fast pace an the amazing results I get in the end, I highly recommend this place all so nice and friendly here myself my mom an my cousin are regulars here and when you go in you will see how many regulars each tech have. Definitely call an make an appointment they are always busy ((because of great they are of course)) love the front desk girl as well she is soooo nice and happy all the time

The salon atmosphere is so welcoming, I went in for a full gel builder set and wasn’t disappointed IVY is an amazing nail technician and person so kind and friendly.

They are dirty, bad attitude and crapy jobs they will leave your fingers hurting from all the cuts you get

I always come with Travis for a full set and he is amazing !! I got my pedicure done for the first time here with Holly and she was so rude ! She was too fast and too rough ! I asked her to redo my polish and she got bothered by this that when she was polishing my nails she was too rough and rude ! I asked to speak to their boss and I told her what happened … She said she was sorry and offered me a discount.

Loved the service and the acrylic was cheaper than expected! My nails turned out wonderful!

The only thing good about this place is Lora. She is the best with waxing.
I made an appointment to see her at 2pm. As usual, the salon was super busy and 1 of the 2 women writing names down, tells me Lora will be at most 10 minutes, so I wait. I wait and a lady next me waited about the same amount of time. At 2:40pm, I asked the 2 of 2 women with a name list and said, «my appointment was at 2pm, how much longer will I have to wait?» She said, «where your name? OH, I been calling you! Where you been?» UH, sitting RIGHT HERE, in front of you, in the waiting area. So they took me back to the room to wait for Lora.
LORA IS THE BEST, SHE IS WORTH THE WAIT. I would give the advice to make an appointment but that probably doesn’t matter.
This place does not have the high-​tech capability of adding the Tip option on credit card receipts… So it’s always annoying to need to grab cash for a tip. This time, a girl at the register said their debit machine was not working… That’s fine, I have credit to pay for the service. Nope! But SO conveniently, they have an ATM machine at the back of the salon, which charges $ 1 per transaction, of course.
You would think that they would have a sign or something, letting customers know PRIOR that they are taking CASH ONLY. But the owner probably doesn’t mind making that $ 1 extra on each customer.
It’s really too bad that this place does not care about customer service, and even sadder that it’ll never effect them since they have a prime location.
