Riverside Christmas Trees

The trees here are beautiful and top quality. We have only bought Christmas trees from Home Depot in the past and this was our first time buying a tree from a Christmas tree lot. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I had high hopes and was in the holiday spirit.
We went to Aloha Joe’s (aka Riverside Christmas Trees) last night and there were several employees waiting to help you. The prices were higher than I expected but I can see why. I found a beautiful 7′ Noble Fir tree for $ 75 and I asked the helpful and very friendly employee what he can do for us and we got it down to $ 70. I remember there being a coupon on their website for $ 5 so I ask the manager if we can apply that coupon as well. Well, the manager basically yelled at me saying that they already gave us a discount and why would we ask for a discount on top of another discount. He was so rude and I was so embarrassed and annoyed. At that point, I wanted to leave without the tree. He sees that we’re about to leave and he yells back saying that he will honor the coupon. I did not want to give him my hard earned money but I thought about the employees working there trying to make some extra cash for the holidays. So, we ended up buying the tree but we left with a very sour taste in our mouths. I was looking forward to this festive experience with my husband and son and it was ruined.
