Riverside Glass & Mirror

I’ve experienced better right here at Riverside Glass. I’ve been coming here for 15 years, always been happy with the service and prices. Until today.
Called ahead to make sure they had enough ¼″ plate on hand to do two window panes. Was told they did. Got a quote for $ 170 plus tax. Good to go! Arrived at the shop, was told it would be over $ 200+ tax. Asked about the quote over the phone; was told I talked to the «other guy». I said I didn’t realize that everyone made up their own prices. Perhaps I should talk to the other guy again. Was then told they didn’t have enough for both windows – and that it would be tomorrow before they could have some more plate on hand. And sorry for all the wrong info thus far.

I called around, found a quote from Mark at «All About Glass» in Woodcrest for $ 187.21 all in. Went there, Mark was happy to stay late, cut my glass, load my truck, add cork buttons for the ride home, and tell me he appreciated my business, and hoped to see me again.
I have a 9′ X 10′ storefront plate glass pane coming up. Should be around $ 800. Where do think I am taking that order???

If you are in need of new glass for anything, new screens, new bathroom shower doors, etc — call them — they may be able to help you and they aren’t out to rip you off. They work hard and quite frankly, Riverside needs to support businesses like these —
