So, reading the reviews on this location, I was a bit concerned… but I had stayed here before (when it was Economy Inn). So, I thought, what the hell, it’s only two nights; I’ve slept in muddy foxholes, I can do this. It wasn’t bad at all. Mind you, this is a BUDGET HOTEL. So, yes, the furniture sin’t solid mahogany, there’s no gym, the toilet paper is a bit thin (then again, I was in a $ 225/​night hotel in LA two weeks ago with what I think was the exact same brand so…), there’s not even a coffee maker (but there is free coffee in the lobby from 7:30−9 am) or an alarm clock in the room (but we all have cell phones with our alarms already preset so, is this really an issue???) What they do have (that even the $ 225/​night place didn’t have) is a microwave and a decent sized mini-​fridge, (that yes, as one reviewer on this site stated, has to be turned on by the guest… but why would they leave 30+ power guzzling refrigerators running — especially since the only take several mins to cool down. My ice pack was frozen solid within 25 mins of turning the the fridge on level 4 out of 7. — The staff were nice and the free breakfast is just juice and/​or coffee and a prepackaged danish or muffin, still, better than what I got at the $ 225/​night place (room service with a minimum $ 25 order OR a $ 10 8 oz. package of almonds from the selection of in-room-charge-you-if-you-open-‘em snacks. Also they have (slow but) free WiFi (which is also not offered at the $ 225/​night place). There were also budget items in the room (the sheets weren’t an 800 thread count, percale weave, pure Egyptian cotton — but they were clean and comfortable; the tub wasn’t a deep tub with Jacuzzi jets, the furniture was simple yet functional items, etc.). And while I did find one stray hair hiding along the seal of the tub drain (I also found a much more obvious hair trapped in the weave of one of my hand towels at the $ 225/​night hotel) I can see how it would have escaped the attention of housekeeping as I didn’t see it until I turned on the water and it floated away from the drain.
So, in a nutshell: It’s a decent budget hotel with a friendly (related/​family?) staff. I was just there for a place to rest my head and heat up some food. I think for what you’re paying for, this place is a great deal.
One thing I DO wish (but didn’t mention to management directly because I didn’t have time to watch much TV, is that the closed captioning didn’t work. They were either blocked with the settings block (so contrast, etc can’t be adjusted) OR they are all monitors, not truly televisions, so no caption decoding chip is installed. That was a bit of a dissapointment but not enough to lower the overall rating.

I was completely unhappy with this place. First, I had to check in through glass. I felt like I was renting a room by the hour. The man that checked us in was rude and unfriendly. Next, the room had two queen beds in there but the room was made for only one. My husband, daughter and I had a funeral to attend and needed somewhere to stay. We were shocked at how this place was unwelcoming. The room was old and the bed and pillows hard and should be thrown out. The carpet was dirty and the bathroom had only 2 towels but there were 3 of us. The bathroom smelled of smoke but it was a non-​smoking room. No clock so you need to use your phone for the time… Oh and if you want ice you have to buy it from a machine in front of the office… After the funeral and we return to the room late that evening and I went to the bathroom but the toilet paper was gone. My daughter told me that there was only a half of roll in there. You would think that they would leave a spare… Thank God I had tissue. The whole stay was bad and I will never stay there again and I will make sure my family and friends don’t either. No worth the money at all…

This place was great, especially for the price! Very clean, quiet, good size room, free wifi, fridge, microwave, flat screen TV. What more do you need? The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. He even lent us his personal iron and ironing board! Very honest people, as well. A few hours after I checked out, I realized that I had forgotten an expensive piece of electronic equipment behind, and the owner found it, locked it up behind the office, and had it waiting for me. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

This is a horrible motel. No person should stay in a room with these conditions. Look at the pictures I posted. Don’t waist your money.

Simply home? Um, no. Even Motel 6 has you beat in that regard. When we called ahead, the manager said the room wouldn’t be ready until 4PM. When we got there at 4, we still had to wait awhile as the room STILL was not ready. This motel is allegedly updated with amenities, but about all that’s new is the exterior paint.
The mini-​fridge has to be turned on by each guest… and it takes forever to work at all, so you’re better off just bringing a cooler. Make sure you buy your ice elsewhere, not here! There is no pool, which is especially unfortunate during the summer. Don’t bother using the mini-​fridge, or unpacking into the drawers, because you SIMPLY won’t want to stay any longer than you absolutely have to.
The beds in our room were creaky and noisy, and the bed linens were uncomfortable. Carpeting is sketchy too, as is the bathroom. I also need to mention that the curtains were very suspect… there was only a thin white curtain, and you could sometimes (but not always) see into guest rooms (including ours). The TV remote in our room didn’t work at first, and the housekeeper and manager seemed irritated when we asked them to help us. Uh, hello… isn’t that your job?! We asked nicely. Wi-​Fi is free, I believe, but does not work well, if at all.
Manager is icy and rude… and that’s an understatement! He sits behind bulletproof glass almost all the time. When he has to come out, he acts very irritated and put out, and he is extremely condescending. The housekeeping service, as I have mentioned above, isn’t much better than the attitude of the manager.
We had reserved two nights here, but only stayed one (8−2−15) because we had to. The next morning, we checked out ASAP. We booked it outta there and haven’t looked back. Seriously, you’re better off going almost anywhere else.

Don’t go here .if you cancel your reservation they charge you for what you reserved for. in this case instead of a small cancellation fee they charged for the whole week. my boyfriend made reservations for 5 days which was $ 280 and took it all cause he wanted to change the dates and said it was the policy yet they had a cancel option… what a way to rip off people. a i can say is that place they are thieves and they rip you off!

Worst experience ever. double room with double bed does not match the room description you would think double means 2 rooms 4 beds but according to the owner and his explanation its a regular room size with 2 beds dont do it .bad hotel

Love this place. It’s so close to everything ! Didn’t like that covers were stain. But other than that it was great

Place was decent in price for three days that we came. Thought it would be outrageous like the other hotels since it’s 4^th of July weekend, but really inexpensive. At guess the guy got out room wrong, we got a master suite and when we got out right room, it was huge, couch, huge living room, nice bathroom. Neighbor is not that bad and everything is super close.

I wanted to like this place. I found it really impersonal that dude was behind bullet proof glass. He handed us remotes and room key through the slot. The parking lot was well lit and clean. The door was really hard to get open and closed. The toilet paper couldn’t have been any cheaper and the towels were awful. The bed was hard as a rock and the pillows were foam and uncomfortable. there’s no stopper in the tub. We found out later that the remote didn’t even work for the TV we had so my husband had to manually change the channel I also noticed that there was not a phone located in our room.

Simply the loudest place I’ve ever been in my life and I’ve lived on 3 different college campuses. Stayed a week for work and got maybe 4 hours of sleep total.

The greeter is an asshole ! I the electronic key didn’t work and made Me feel like i broke the key. They charge for ice. Also the greeter said if you have visitors you will be thrown out without a refund. This is the manager I had ever had to deal with !!! !!!

When we got to the motel the lady didn’t speak English. She lost are reservation took her 20 mins to find it. Then the credit card machine did not work she said they would call us when it did. That took 1 hour, we all were in bed getting woke up at 12:00 am to go down to the office to pay! Pictures did not look like the rooms. Carpet was wet. Bathroom door didn’t close or lock. No HD channels. Had to call for WiFi. When we were getting ready to check out the lady came by 20 mins to let us know. Then I took aphone call outside my room and she was interrupting my phone call telling us we needed to get out when it was 10:40am! This place was not worth the $ 73 we spent. Spend a little more and get a nicer place.

The man at the front desk is a JERK, also, he stands behind BULLET PROOF GLASS (which should tell you a lot). Our «non-​smoking» room REAKED OF SMOKE, it was disgusting, i think people live in the upstairs rooms, they had clothes drying on the side of the building, WALLS ARE HORRIBLE! our neighbors were having sex all damn night, and we could hear them the whole time, its DISGUSTING MOTEL. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT GO HERE!
You will regret it!

I really disliked my stay. the motel is in a sketchy area of town. A run down motel with a rude greeter, who was behind bullet proof glass. He didn’t answer questions and made it difficult for a family with a handicapped person to get first floor accommodations! He said handicapped are first floor with one bed. Really? So, handicapped vacation solo?! He sent us to third floor. Very inconvenient, and a hazard should a fire of broken out! He said there was an elevator to use! So if there was a fire and the elevator was out, the handicapped person would be trapped. Complete morons running the place. The room was dingy. I slept in my shoes. The toilet paper was ¼ ply, shredding paper pulp over your anus. The roll of toilet paper got a bit wet, from shower spray, and literally half the roll of paper scoffed off! I planned on ironing a shirt for my daughter’s college graduation ceremony. Alas, no ironing board or iron. I didn’t bother to ask. I’m sure I would have gotten some lame duck excuse as to why they didn’t have one. Towels were 100 count thread, meaning the kind you regulate to dusting furniture, shining shoes, or some other task, but not to wick water off your body. Amenities? Hmmmm. Let me think that over. Oh ya! No amenities. Nothing special. I asked if they had security, as I could see a homeless set up in the parking lot. No security here. The police patrol the streets. What the hell kind of answer is that?! Sometimes you just gotta laugh it off. Almost forgot to mention being awakeded to a domestic argument. nothing like the lullaby of people running, hitting and yelling «bitch» in the middle of the night! in the morning Hubby went to the front desk hoping for coffee. No dice! No coffee maker in the room either. For 20 more a night we could have stayed at Ayers, had a hot buffet breakfast, coffee round the clock, and in room, security, plush settings, pool and jacuzzi, free Internet, use of computer in lobby, etc. the service attendant isn’t holed up in a bullet proof box. Thanks for this opportunity for me to express my dislike of this ill run down trodden motel. I think I will let the masses know, via Unilocal.In concluding, I wouldn’t stay here again, if you offered me a free night. Do me a favor and reimburse my credit card!
