Snips Hair Salon

First time coming to this salon. Very pleased with my experience there. Nathalie was my stylist, she was very patient, sweet, and listened to my hair needs and wants. I felt comfortable telling her exactly what i wanted. She did an amazing job with my hair. Definitely coming back.

Maria is so amazing at doing my hair extensions. She’s always been so sweet. Her technique has never matted and they always come out flawless. She blends the hair so well where you cannot see all my layers. I won’t go to anyone else!

Great place! I’ve been with my stylist, Nathalie for about 3 years and she’s now at this salon. This place is unassuming from the outside, but it’s very nice on the inside. I really liked the décor and the atmosphere was welcoming.
I definitely recommend Nathalie for any of your hair needs!

Snips is a cute hair salon! Not what you would expect when walking in. Clean and spacious. Ara did my hair & I love it! I had her cut my long long straight hair into a long bob. I cut off nearly 12inches and maybe more! She asked what cut I was looking to get and how I normally style my hair. She told me what she was going to do before doing any cutting and made sure I was ok with it. She didn’t rush and she was so nice. Will definitely be going back!

Kimberly Brockett is an amazing stylist and colorist! She’s been beautifying my hair for over 3 years! I’ve had black with brilliantly colored blue, purple, or pink highlights done bright by Kim! She recently transformed me from black to an amazing golden BLONDE! She uses and recommended Oplex to pre-​treat and strengthen my hair during this change and my hair is healthy and happy! Always a great cut n style from Kim! Many many compliments follow after my visits with Kim!

Got my hair done by Ara Gutierrez today and she’s absolutely amazing ! She’s such a perfectionist when it comes to hair but that’s honestly what I love about her work. She gets it right the first time around. I had an ombré that I didn’t really like and she just magically made it so beautiful and ten times better. I am wanting to really lighten my hair this year so I’m gonna be coming back to her soon. I definitely recommend her salon and her work !

First time here today. I absolutely LOVE Ara’s work. She’s been doing my hair for 3 years! The place itself is cute, clean, and easy to find. Everyone is so friendly, I love it! I will definitely be coming back for hair cuts and color by Ara.

My hair is curly, thick, long, & frizzy! Ambar used their straightening/​smoothing shampoo & hair styling products on me, it’s been 2 days, & my hair is still straight, smooth, & best of all, frizz free; even after spending the entire day at the beach: D!
& UNITE products smell amazing!

Ambar is the absolute best!!! I brought my son who is 17 years old to get his hair cut. His hair was really long. I was nervous about getting the right haircut since my son is getting ready to get his Senior pictures done. Ambar explained different options and showed us different hairstyles that would look good. She did such a great job!

Great place !!! very nice staff !!! Monica fixed my layers and made them not so chunky. And Jennifer fixed my hair color so beautifully !!! they really take the time to make sure it’s what you want and how you want it. You can tell they enjoy what they do and take pride in their work !

The place is clean and nice. They have an upstairs and a down stairs. All the staff is friendly and helpful. Only down side Is the parking sometimes gets packed. I would say the building is out dated but the girls inside know what their doing.

Im a long time client of Savannah Pluim’s and i will follow her wherever she goes. This girl has taken me to the dark side and all the way back. If your looking for a stylist that is capable of any type of color or cut she will make sure its just how you want it but ever better. I had this obsession with having white/​grey hair and this little lady made it possible without frying my hair and making it frail she rather took me there and not only was my hair white as snow but it was also soft and healthy! I will forever follow her to wherever her and those magical hands of hers go as should you! Go get your head beautified by sav, you won’t be disappointed.

Savannah’s hair abilities are absolutely incredible! She has taken my horrible box dyed black hair and made it beautifully blonde! If you don’t go to her you’re crazy! I’ll forever go to her!

This is on behalf of my husband who doesn’t Unilocal but absolutely loves the way Lexy cuts & styles his hair.
Lexy has been cutting my husband’s hair for the past year (it took him a year to find her) and he simply won’t go anywhere else. Lexy is his barber and that’s it lol. She always does an AMAZING job and also gives him great hair care tips. Lexy has SKILLS!!! –It’s also cool that she understands his Scottish accent so well because it’s hard for most people to do. We would both highly recommend Lexy to anyone looking for a great hair cut or a change of style. You won’t be disappointed! Thank you so much Lexy.

I went to see Brittany at Snips. This was my first time at this salon and first time with Brittany. I couldn’t be happier with what she did. She’s an excellent stylist. She’s also very warm and welcoming. She listens to what you want and will give you options. I will absolutely be making Brittany my regular stylist. I posted a before and after pic as well

First of all Snips Hair Salon is a wonderful salon!
However, this review is specifically for my experience with Melinda Reyes. Now, for all my ladies with long locks — you know the ones that feel like their hair (and it’s length) is another bodily extremity — Melinda is your go-​to girl!
After years of neglecting my hair — she found a way to whip me back into shape and bring my long, drab, and dull locks to «hey girl hey — your hair looks all types of shiny and healthy.»
All jokes aside, she really cares for her clients and makes a point to ask questions. From daily hair-​routines to what look a client wants to achieve now AND in the future. She offers very helpful suggestions/​options to ultimately achieve a client’s ideal end result.
Currently, Melinda cuts, colors, & styles my hair. She is quite an intuitive colorist, from platinum blondes to the richest of dark brunettes to even the fire reds — she can do it all. Personally, we’ve gone from nearly black (darkest brown — my natural hair color) to a dark brown/​copper-​tone ombré — back to my darkest brown for winter– back to my summer ombré — and now an all-​over warm-​tone brunette. All the while keeping my tresses as healthy as can be.
She not only specializes in women’s cut & color, but she does a wonderful men’s cut/​style. My boyfriend and I have HIGHLY recommended Melinda to several friends and family over the last few years and will continue to do so.
So if ever in the Riverside area (or if you’re willing to make the trek there) — be sure to check out Snips Hair Salon & ask for Melinda! You will not be disappointed!
