Join us for a unique dinner experience and a movie as we are located across from the Tyler Galleria, just two minutes from the 91 freeway, in Riverside. Recently opened, the classically-trained executive chef captures traditional Asian flavors, and also caters to the more popular Asian-Fusion style tastes. Popular flavors such as the” Zame Mango Tempura Shrimp” roll with shrimp & mango inside and topped with spicy tuna, or the more unique signature «Yellow Mellow» appetizer with yellowtail tataki, lemon, kiwi, & Tokyo white scallions served with gomae miso dressing. Come for the fresh & unique dishes, but stay for the signature desserts. Desserts such as our most popular «Red Wine Pear & Sorbet» dessert — a delicious whole pear marinated in red wine with lychee and your choice of mango or lychee sorbet. Almost every customer we’ve had so far, has been a returning one! Business Owner
Jay was the creative sushi chef at Ooka restaurant & had quite a following before he decided to open Zame. He is classically trained & has had over 20 years of experience as a creative chef. All of the signature rolls & entrees at Zame are Jay’s creation & are a unique & creative combination. The sauces are all made from scratch in-house & take up to 3 days to make! You may notice, however, that there isn’t much sauce used on the rolls or dishes. This is because Jay wants you to taste the flavor of the dish & not drown it in the sauce.
Jay takes pride in the flavor, quality of ingredients, & the presentation of every dish both in the sushi & full Asian fusion kitchen. This is the reason he has decided to not be an «All-you-can-eat» sushi restaurant. Presentation & quality are lowered when you become an «All-you-can-eat» place & this would not be a good representation of Jay or the restaurant. However, you must come and try the food, enjoy the ambience & decide for yourself!
