My family went to eat here last night! We’ve been sick since. We had onion petals as an app. They were so yuck we couldn’t eat them. I had a steak in which it tasted old. We have been up most of the night sick. I asked friends on Facebook have they had any problems with this place and sure enough everyone who seem to be eating here gets sick. I will NEVER go back to this place again and have contacted the local health department!

The service was ok but slow and the kitchen was noisy. The food was ok but bland. There was really nothing unique about this place. The crispy shrimp was pretty good but not too special. It seems like they don’t try too hard because when the coleslaw came, it was in a little cup and there was some on the sides and plate around it. Overall not a great place

Hearty portions of iffy food for too much money. Fried pickles were good but catfish was a definite miss. So much breading that the result was an oily, crunchy clump with a less than fresh(most definitely frozen) fish filling. None of us came close to finishing our meals nor did we want it wrapped up to go. In my experience, this usually results in the server asking whether the food was alright. But it wasn’t her first rodeo, so she knew better than to ask. Especially since the manager was already busy arguing with another customer over their lackluster food. In short: don’t go unless you’re Robert Irvine with a TV crew.

Really good steak I have eaten in this surrounding area. The waiters were friendly. The food was fresh. Place was decent.

Will never eat there again! First we had to wait about 10 mins to be seated. Which was fine, thinking the food must be good. We get seated get our drinks and it when down hill from there. Waiter brought some rolls. Umm can you say store bought and warmed up to serve. We ordered an appetizer when we ordered our food. Took about 20 mins to receive. Waited another 45 mins for the main dishes. Talk about a mess! My husbands steak was dry like it was under a heat lamp for a very long time. Sautéed mushrooms … lol ! More like mushrooms that were floating in water all day… Oh and they were cold! My plate looked like a child plated it! The salmon was nothing but a very small wedge 1⁄3 cup plain rice, which was to be parfait rice and it was cold. I sent it all back but kept the small wedge salmon. Which tasted nothing like lemon butter. There was just a white sauce tossed over it! Starting to think the way this place stays open it because it’s off I95 and people have no idea what their in for…

Service is slow and personnel is even slower. Bartender is reading a book to make drinks and people are leaving because their food is taking too long. They seem very unorganized and untrained. These are not kids, employees seem to range in age from 30 to 70 years old. This place is crazy scary and not sure why I am here. I will rethink my choice of restaurant next time around.

I visited this location this past Friday with my boyfriend. We were greeted fairly quickly and we were promptly seated in booth. As we sat down, my bf and I both noticed that it was quite cold throughout the entire restaurant. When we inquired about this to our gracious server, she informed us that management was aware of this situation, and that it was taking a lot longer to heat the entire restaurant due to the outside temperature(the locality had encountered some winter weather the night before). I thought that this was a bit peculiar because we had arrived around 4p.m., and given the fact that the restaurant had been open all day, I thought that there would have been ample time to warm up the place. Instead, it seems as if they were just getting around to remedying the situation… it was REALLY cold in there! Anywho, our sweet server brought out our drinks in a timely fashion, and my bf and I gave her our orders. He ordered the American burger, and I ordered the steak burrito which came along with queso sauce. Once our food arrived, pretty quickly I might add, my bf’s burger was a bit dry and the onion rings they place on the burger were a little distasteful, but it was still edible. My burrito, on the other hand, was disgusting to say the least. The steak had no flavor and the queso sauce was just as bland. I didn’t want to be a nuisance, so I tried to force myself to eat the disaster of a burrito. After my bf insisted that I return it to the kitchen, I ordered the blackened talapia because I knew seafood doesn’t require long cooking times. Once my second order arrived, it was just as bad as the first. The fish was seasoned too salty, the rice pilaf tasted like rubber, and the asparagus also wasn’t redeeming. I tried my best to finish my talapia, but to no avail. My bf and I were more than ready to leave this joint. We paid for our check, and left my half eaten meal on the table. We won’t be returning, and if you’re in the area, Logan’s Roadhouse is a much better option than this establishment.

This place is lacking in personality as it is in décor. They visit started fine until we sat down. It took over 30 minutes to get our appetizer. Their excuse was they wanted to give us fresh chicken, so what are they serving normally? When it came out, they didn’t disappoint, it was awful. Please don’t waste your time or money. The manager tried to remedy the situation by giving us a $ 10 gift certificate that expired in 5 days. No thank you!

The place looked abandon when we pull in and parked in the lot, I will admit it was a odd hour about 3 pm. We were seated as soon as we walked in so far so good. We all ordered our drinks and when they got to the table the wife’s glass was dirty. Then they brought out the bread which was good(not great) and the bread plates were dirty. Well we placed our order and it served in about twenty minutes not bad. All the food was tasty except my broccoli it tasted like it was steamed with some shell fish. But the whole time while eating we were thinking about the dirty plate and glass, not to comforting. Well there it is your call.

The food was good, the service was good as well. They décor needed to be updated. I know it is styled as a Texas steakhouse and salon but some of the pictures and other qualities needed some work. They didn’t go with the décor what so ever. For example half naked characters from Seinfeild in the ladies bathroom. Also when driving up to the outside of the restaurant the place looks abandoned/shut down. That might want some work as well other then that I had a great time and would recommend it for its food and service.

A business has to earn a low rating from me, and this business earned its two stars. Slow to greet my co-worker and myself and seat us. Less than pleasant server. Ordered luncheon sirloin, which is served with fries. Served lukewarm. Steak was tasteless and tough. Server didn’t ask if I wanted any sauce when she plopped it down in front of me. I quickly asked for Heinz 57, and she took some time to get it to me. She was quick to drop off the check though. Texas Steak House has a website where you can take a survey for the service. I would have filled it out, except they REQUIRE name, address and phone number. Not interested in giving all that much personal information.
