History

Established in 1981.

Dwayne Mahan grew up working in the landscape business from the time he was 10 years old. By the time he was 18 he was running a large landscape company in Colleyville, Texas. In 1981, at age 24, Dwayne and his wife Susan moved to Westlake where they started Dwayne’s Landscape Service and been there ever since.

Dwayne has since been joined by his two sons. After high school and during college, Dwayne’s oldest son, Levi formed a landscape company which he ran for 8 years before joining up with Dwayne’s Landscape Service in 2006. His youngest son, Colt, later joined the business after earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Entrepreneurship and completing five years of college football at University of North Texas in 2009.
