I really like this quaint, friendly, professional displaying establishment. They only charge $ 1 for local delivery. Their food is amazing and can be customized for a healthy eating. Furthermore, this family operated business is impeccable in serving the ordered dish with a complete set of packaging in perfection. As far as prices go, I find them just a tad steep. But all in all, I really like this place.

This restaurant delivered Lo Mein with a finger/toe nail in it. After I called the restaurant about the issue, they first said I could have a refund then 2 hours later called me back asking me for the food. Previously they never asked me to hold on to it and never said they wanted it back. Obviously, I tossed it all after seeing this disgusting situation. Now this restaurant doesn’t want to give any money back. I am calling the health department on Monday to request an inspection be done on this business. If you want me to take this review down, you can follow through with your offer of a refund. UPDATE The owner now is harassing me and came by the hotel and started digging through all of the garbage bags in the maids carts. This business is insane. UPDATE The owner is calling me over and over harassing me to remove this review.

Average at best. Service was quick and friendly but food quality was not good. Hot and sour soup was 90 percent broth and far from spicy. Fried rice was just brown colored rice without any veg or egg. The oil they cooked the chicken in tasted old. I can’t recommend it.

Yikes! I really want to give them more stars, but I think 3 is being very generous. Generous portions, very flavorful, and a very heavy meal. I ordered 3 entrees: ckn lo– mein(good) Ckn fried rice(good), ckn Kung Pao(heavy on vegetables=not good). Biggest complaint… sanitation! Sticky tables. Sticky soy sauce bottle. Sticky sugar container. Went there on a Slow Sunday. «Chefs» we’re in the dining room waiting for customers. When I ordered, they quickly got up and made my first 2 entrees. DIDNOTWASHHANDS. Then came back out to dining room again. I ordered my 3rd entrée to go… «chefs» quickly got up again, DIDN’T WASHHANDSAGAIN, and made my 3rd entrée. Just a suggestion… On a slow day, have your employees/chefs clean. You can feel the ickiness once you walk in. You almost don’t want to touch anything. Prices are good, but the risk is too high for me. I can’t come back here. Deal breaker… a customer walked in to use the restroom. Many Minutes later he came out to ask for toilet paper. I’m going to assume the restrooms aren’t «cleaned/check on» in a regular basis either.

Every time we order it’s always right, hot and delivered before expected. You will not find better Chinese food that delivers. …you may not find better food at a restaurant. Every thumb is up!

After a long holiday weekend, the bf and I really didn’t feel like cooking. We recently discovered Chinese delivery even existed near tiny Roanoke and we were up for the adventure. Came to Unilocal and saw the reviews but we weren’t scared. Ordered normal white girl Chinese food — general tso’s chicken, sesame chicken, white rice, egg roll, and fried dumplings. 30 minutes and $ 30 later our food arrived! Unloaded the bag and it looked good! The dumplings were crispy, the food was hot, every thing was really good and hit the spot! Its good enough for this white girl and the bf is glad we can go somewhere other than panda now.

Tried Hong Kong Express and I was so disappointed. The Pork Fried Rice had no flavor. The Pork looked like ground Chicken and there was hardly any vegetables. The take out tray was an average size however it was not filled all the way up. The Egg Roll was so small and it looked like a spring roll. The Egg Roll was almost the size of a chicken taquito. The flavor of the love in and chicken and broccoli was ok but again the trays were not full. I would not recommend this restaurant.

I tried this for the first time this evening. I ordered takeout – vegetable lo mein. The service was fast. The lo mein tasted great! Lots of crisp vegetables(not overcooked). The staff was also friendly. We will be coming back here again!

I must begin by stating we have tried this restaurant on many occasions and have been disappointed. Over the past 6 or so months we have ordered for delivery and have been surprisingly pleased on many occasions. We have very few delivery options in the area so on a tired Friday night a quick and delicious delivered dinner is appreciated. First, I give them high marks on the delivery time. We have waited up to 2 hours for cold pizza but usually get our Chinese delivery in less than 30 minutes. I ordered the chicken and broccoli and my husband ordered a pork dish. Both had plenty of meat and the vegetables were perfectly prepared. The price is reasonable at about $ 25 with tax and generous tip. The portions were large enough for 2 meals each. We ordered both the white and fried rices. The white rice was perfect. My only issue that I can mention is when I have ordered egg rolls on a couple of occasions they did not include any duck sauce. So now I have learned to ask for the sauce. Plenty of soy sauce is always included. It’s in a strip plaza and does not have a great eat-in atmosphere but is an excellent take-out or delivery option. We recommend this restaurant for good delivery or pick-up meal experience.

Pretty good if you realize what it is — chinese delivery. All the basics, pretty well done. A few too many veggies compared to meat, but pretty tasty. Spicy dishes are not spicy but I am sure you can request it. Not real fast, 30 – 45 minutes for delivery.

I didn’t have super high expectations for this place, but I still had expectations. So last week we had a freak cold spell and all I wanted was Chinese. I don’t know what all delivers to me but he does so I gave it a try. I ordered hot and sour soup, crab ragoons, and beef in garlic sauce. $ 16 total including delivery fee but not including tip. For what I ate it was a little much. Here’s the breakdown. Hot and sour soup: it wasn’t gelatinous at all… But very sour and okay Ragoons: they were triangles, so the wonton wrapper had been folded in half. Wonton wrappers can get chewy, which is why they are normally pinched into little bowls for the crab ragoons. The filling was great, but the edges use too chewy for me. Beef with garlic sauce: also known as celery with a little bit of beef in a delicious sauce. If it had more beef this place would be rated higher. Don’t charge $ 8 for mostly celery. Rice was rice, nothing to complain about. They have a dinner for 2 deal that is $ 18 for 2 soups, 2 entres, 2 egg rolls, almond cookies and I think that’s it. If you’re going to order, do this one. I wish I had. Delivery was fast and he was very polite. They stop delivering lunch(aka cheaper) portions before dinner time just fyi. Not a lot of delivery or chinese options around here so I’ll probably order from it again.

I’ve never been inside this place but probably order delivery once every couple of months. It’s a little pricey for what you get but there’s nothing that delivers in my area besides Mr. Jim’s pizza(bleh). The hot and sour soup is good if you enjoy mushrooms and their orange chicken is decent. Their menu is normal to any Chinese restaurant. Fried rice is bleh, I usually stick with the white rice. Overall okay for hangover morning delivery food :)!!

Ive ordered from this place several times, but only delivery. It has always been good service and delivered within 30 minutes. I dont get what everyone else is complaining about. This seems like your normal hole in the wall china food place. However, I have never been inside. I always get the chicken, shrimp, and beef fried rice and its above average.

Doesn’t even deserve one star. Doesn’t look appetizing nor taste appetizing. Would be better off just going to Panda Express.

WHATISTHATSMELL!!! I want to gag as soon as I walk into this place. It smells so foul! This place is quickly going downhill again. I just got shrimp lo mein and wanted to cry just from the smell of the place. ALSO, my shrimp were not fully cooked. Disgusting. I do not recommend.

Just Ok! We have only ordered take out when really desperate for Chinese food. My husband is usually the one that places the orders and I pick it up. The fried rice is good but a little dry. I like the sweet and sour soup and my husband orders the Won Ton soup which is tasty with a lot of dumplings. What we like about this place is that it is really close to home. The employees are nice and its close to home.

Great go-to fast and casual Chinese food. I’m originally from the SF Bay Area in CA so I grew up on Chinese food and this does the job for when the cravings hit! The veggies are crisp, the meat tender, and the sauces are flavorful. Plus, they deliver :)

Chicken fried rice for $ 9 or $ 11? Way over priced., the employees are not aware that there are customers in front of them and who knows where the owner is or who the owner or manager is. supplies all over the restaurant disorganized. wondering if I even got the right portion size for the money I spent? Food Quality = OK Pricing = Not good Employees = OK Cleanliness = OK Going to try to avoid this one.

Oh my freakin’ GOD! Do they not have any Asians here to impress? Do the Texas folks really think that this is Chinese food? One word folks: «NUKED!» How is it possible for my dumplings to taste just like my general tso’s chicken? That’s all I have to say about that.
