I always get great service here. Typically come in for state inspection and oil changes here. My daughter was taking a long road trip from DFW to Austin and I had asked her to have her cars oil changed and have her car checked out. They reminded her she uses synthetic oil which did not need to be changed out as often and inspected the car for free. My daughter went on her road trip and I knew she could rely on her car. Great job Kwik car.

What a great place. Everyone is friendly however Lawrence goes above and beyond. Not only does he take the time to explain in detail what you may need or why it is a problem, he’s also extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I’m really impressed and will always take my car here.

After my last posting I was contacted by the owner and pleased to say that he addressed all of my issues. It was just a few days after my post. I decided to give them another try and I am happy to say that the service was friendly and speed was decent but they were pretty busy. Thank you to the owner Rob for taKing the time to respond to my review.

I went to my local Kwik Kar for a basic oil change on my new car. When I pulled up I mentioned to the fella who took my keys that I requested a BASIC OIL CHANGE using 530 oil.
Service was really kwik all right, so quick they didnt air my tires and at the checkout I was alerted my total would be $ 60+. WTF? Then I was told they used a fully synthetic oil for hybrids… I don’t own a hybrid. The guy at the register went into the garage and asked who originally took my details down (joke), and shortly returned to tell me they used that oil as it is standard on hybrids and newer vehicles. I guess my original request was completely ignored.
The not so helpful employee just said «oh, sorry about that ma’am» and didn’t even offer to make it right. I utttered the words WHAT A RIPOFF as I left so I alerted others to take notice whey got their keys. What I should’ve done was refused to pay, my lesson learned.
I know miscommunication happens, but if this is common for that location I wanted to Unilocal about this. Do yourself a favor and drive your car into the stall and talk with the guy doing the work so you can be sure they know you’re watching. PATRONS BEWARE.

They are alway friendly and efficient. They do not try to up-​sell like other places do. I have been a patron for 6 years and I have never had a bad experience.

I went here for an oil change and told them I wanted the bare minimum synthetic oil for my car they said OK… After they changed my oil and took the liberty of upgrading the oil I asked for to a more expensive one they told me what the charge was… To justify their presumptuous actions the guy went on to explain to me how they checked my tire pressure and fluids… you know, all the same services I’ve gotten EVERY time I’ve ever had an oil change anywhere … (Not that I asked for those services by the way) It’s behavior like this that rightfully give mechanics a bad name, needless to say I won’t be coming here again.

Do not trust these guys with your car!!!
Maybe it’s an ok place to have your oil changed but there are plenty of places like this around. This said, if you decide to go there, do NOT let them touch your car for anything else. They try to position themselves as an Auto Repair shop, they are NOT. We had problems with the window regulator on our beetle and I let them talk me into fixing it. The mechanic, Carlos, ordered the wrong part. That happens. I would have to wait a week for the correct part to arrive. Still ok. However as he put the inside panel back in place and tried to keep the window shut he dented the car door. Poked the metal from inside out). I went back the following week (the correct replacement regulator had arrived) and asked Carlos to fix the dent. He yelled at me and insulted me («this is what I get to try and help you!»). Excuse me, you never said you would put a dent in my car in the process. Had I known that you would damage my car door by trying to keep the window up I would have never asked you to touch it.
Carlos proceeded to say he would not replace the regulator. so now I have a car with a broken regulator and a dent in the door, which will require work at the body shop to fix.
I am going back on Monday to meet the manager and see whether they will agree to resolve this and how. If they do not fix it, I will take them to small claims court. Do NOT trust these guys with your car beyond inspection and oil change. And even that, I would be concerned they’d damage something else. And by all means, stay away from the mechanic called Carlos. He does not know what he is doing and he is rude to customers.

This place rocks you in and out quickly. I have been Kwik Kar Lube and Tune in Roanoke for oil changes and car inspections and I like the service. They are friendly and professional. They greet you when you first drive up and give you an estimate of how long they expect the work to take. The waiting room is usually packed and reasonably clean. They offer hot coffee for free so that cool or hot shall I say. They are usually finished on time so that good. You can tell these guys have a sense of urgency and care about customer satisfaction. They also offer a frequent oil change card so after 8 oil changes you get the next one free. But I can never keep up with the little yellow card to take advantage of the program. Too bad for me, maybe good for you.

Went to Kwik Kar this morning for an overdue oil change and I have never had faster service! Not only was the service extremely fast, but I did not feel the standard «female» up-​sell that I feel every time I get my car serviced without my husband. The staff was super friendly and I felt at ease the moment I pulled onto the property. Added bonus: Wednesday is Ladies’ Day so I received $ 4 off!

I know it’s a little thing, but I just hate to drive around all year with a crooked inspection sticker.
Kwik Kar was busy this morning and I had to wait a little over half an hour for an annual inspection but everyone here was friendly and professional and got me in and out in less time than promised.
While checking out, the tech who did my inspection pointed out that the windshield sticker was «clean and straight». I couldn’t have done better myself. Thanks!

Good work; employees are friendly. Alignment check is outrageous when competitors are offering for free ($ 89.95).
